Learn more about this land: Just 1.6 miles from an Appalachian trail access point, our site is a beautiful slice of Blue Ridge mountain life. We have a small hobby farm with chickens, peacocks, and livestock guardian dogs (who bark at night). The rest of the property is wooded, with a 1/2 acre clearing great for tents and campers. PLEASE NOTE: at least one camper must be 21+. Until May 1, fires only from to 4pm-midnight due to local restrictions. You may purchase firewood from us or gather your own. :-)

Great first time Hipcamp experience. Location is lovely, amazing view of stars at night, quiet, close to hiking but also close to stores if you forget anything. The camp was well set up and having firewood and fresh eggs was handy! Easy and friendly communication with hosts.

This was such a wonderful site snd the hosts were so amazing! The site itself has an excellent firepit lined with rock bricks, so it’s very blocked from the wind and safe. There’s also a grill, as ash bucket, a trash bucket, four benches and a table with four chairs. The area is so peaceful, you can’t hear any cars or roadways, and the large open area in the middle of the trees is perfect for star gazing:) The hosts themselves are very kind; Phil came to check on us and gave us great information about the local area. Then, when our car battery died, Phil came to jump it, no problem. Such a lifesaver! We would definitely come back to explore the nearby area and stay here again:)

We absolutely loved our stay at Victoria and Phil’s campsite. It felt very secluded despite being 10 minutes away from hiking trails, breweries, and wineries. The campsite was clean and well equipped with benches, a table, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill. The farm fresh eggs were delicious! We heard the dogs barking as mentioned in the site listing, but it sounded very far off and never bothered us. We will definitely be staying here again!

Good level site on a hillside. It drained nicely after a rain. Fire out and benches are a nice amenity. Far away but close to some great towns. No cell service but that was always really nice. Phil stopped by to say hello. Great stay.

We had a great time on our first camping trip with our young daughter. The spot was set up nicely and it was quiet and peaceful. The eggs from Victoria and Phil’s farm were amazing, highly recommended! Overall it was a very good experience.
