1 night at Casita Of LOVE (Panhandle WV)

Pablo's land was just lovely!!!! the fire pit was ready to go, all we had to do was light the match. The invisible space was clean and the rain drops on the roof were so soothing. it was so cool to see the fire burning out side, as we were relaxing in bed. Snack were available, along with tea. Such a super sweet space. Thank you!!!

Weekend Trip to Historic Cottage Retreat-IG Worthy

We very much enjoyed our stay at Robin's cottage. Very cozy with fun decor. We didn't use the outside amenities but there is a large deck with a giant table, games, inflatable hot tub and small pool which would be fun during the summer (it was a bit too chilly for us). Stores are not far away, Boonsboro is small but cute with a very nice coffee shop and Nora Robert's bookstore and you are very close to Antietam, wineries and breweries. there is no dining table (a small bar counter) and small fridge so a longer stay with more than 2 people would need some planning. Host responded quickly and though you are right behind the main house it was nice and quiet.

Weekend Trip to CLOUD NINE VICTORIAN FARM

From the moment we pulled in we were greeted with warm open arms by Tam and her lovely, well trained dog named Willow. The property is vibrant and you can tell a lot of love and intention is put into it. There is a massive pine tree with chairs and lights that is the perfect place to unwind both during the day and at night. Tam went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even started the fire where we cooked our dinner using her homegrown herbs and garlic. We left our experience knowing that we will certainly be back again! Looking forward to having more conversations and connection with you, Tam! Thank you a million 💛

1 night at Sistermoon Farm

Great, cozy tent. Very private and aesthetically pleasing. Directions were clear. The site had everything one would need, campsite, chairs, implements for cooking and cleaning, bathrooms, enough bedding to keep you warm on a cool night, etc. I slept like a baby, but my husband who is a light sleeper was pleasantly surprised by the earplugs left for us that helped with a distant train and howling dogs. =) this place was great, I would definitely recommend...but, be advised, if you're not cool with spiders you may want to consider a different place. There's a ton. Harmless spiders, but spiders nonetheless...nbd, but thought I'd mention it.

Weekend Trip to Smith Ridge Harper's Ferry

We stayed at this amazing tiny house during a recent bikepacking trip, and it was exactly what we needed. Clean, dry, and super cozy, with a comfortable bed, hot shower, and an inviting deck where we could relax and listen to the breeze in the trees. It feels remote enough to give you that "camping in the woods" experience, but it's still close to the main road for a quick run into town. The space was thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed to be comfortable after a long day of riding. The bed was large and comfortable, and the hot shower was a total luxury. We loved spending time on the deck in the evening, soaking in the quiet and stars. The room even had a Keurig, and we spent a leisurely morning on the deck with coffee, serenaded by birds. What truly made the stay exceptional was the host, Matt. He went above and beyond to make sure we had water, cooking gear, and anything else we might need. Friendly, helpful, and respectful of our space — exactly the kind of person you hope to meet on the road. Highly recommend for any hiker, bikepacker, or traveler looking for a peaceful, well-equipped retreat in the woods. I’d absolutely stay here again.

The pictures don't do it justice. Very peaceful and relaxing. The house was a wonderful experience! And the bed is very comfortable. The goats are awesome .

1 night at The Byrd's Nest on the River

Kara's space is SO beautiful and really exceeded our expectations -- so much so that we booked an extra night! The crows nest was perfect for my partner and I and the communal space down by the river is gorgeous. The string lights, multiple platforms, big fire pit, and sound of the river made us feel so easeful. It's also very conveniently located close to Berkeley Springs and Cacapon State Park. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time Sacred Roots. The Cosmic Cottage was adorable and cozy. We appreciated the fire pit and thank the previous occupants for leaving behind the extra wood. Jay was responsive through the Hipcamp app and Hillary was warm and hospitable when we met her in person. We could really feel the love and care that goes into maintaining Sacred Roots and we’re excited to come back as soon and as often as possible.

Enjoy 8 beautiful, secluded acres on the Conewago Creek at Bald Hill, Northern York Co. My homestead was once part of the Conewago Turf Farm. It borders the creek a length of 1100 feet, mostly maintained with easy access. Camp is at the base of a steep section of the Conewago Mountains, creating privacy and protection from wind and afternoon sun. This is not a whole house rental. I have a one bedroom, queen size bed, kitchenette, private restroom and outdoor shower with on demand hot water. There's plenty of room for tent or van camping. Please see pictures for detail. I live in the house above the glamping quarters. Plenty of good fishing and paddling here. I offer shuttle service for 1 or 2 day float trips, paddle in one day, paddle out the next day. Canoes, kayaks, paddles and PFD's are included in the price of your stay. The Conewago is very beginner paddling but remote, very clean and full of wildlife. Gifford Pinchot State Park is 7 miles away. I have two paddle boards if you want to paddle the 3 mile lake. This adventure would require a short hike out to a parking area. Relax in a wood fired Norwegian sauna and cook in a Peruvian wood fired earth oven or cook under the stars over an open fire. Firewood is also included. Foodies will rejoice here. I live and work here, part time blacksmith and wood worker. I'll assist you in any way or do my best to stay out of your way. Wildlife love it here, I think you will too.

We are 10 minutes from the Potomac River, 10 minutes from Opequon Creek, 20 from Antietam Creek and 30 minutes from the Shenandoah River. Harper's Ferry is 30 minutes way and downtown Historic Shepherdstown is just down the road. We are also close to several state parks. - What do we mean by "RUSTIC" ? The camping experience we offer is about unplugging from the modern world , getting back to basics, slowing down and re-connecting with the land. Simply put, this is CAMPING .... not glamping. (Our Cosmic Cottage is also rustic, despite the amenities that come with it). - CAMPSITES and TREEHOUSE - No electricity or wifi on the land. Campsites and TREEHOUSE are nestled in the woods. So although your vehicle will be parked within 50 ft or so from site, you cannot pull directly up to the site and get any closer because of the trees. - SHOWER and PORTA POTTY - roughly a 5 minute or less walk from sites to shower and / or porta potty. Shower hours are 8 am- to 8 pm. The shower has hot and cold running water . You can drive to the shower if you need to. - RESPONSE TIME - This is a working herb farm/ sanctuary and we so do not always have our phones on us. We will make every effort to respond to you within a few hours.
