Weekend Trip to Foxfield Farm
The place was absolutely spotless, not even a spec of dust anywhere to be found. There were so many amenities that we did not get around to using them all. The host was extremely affable and respectful , which made for a very pleasant atmosphere. The detailed guide with pictures about all the nearby attractions was a very useful and heartfelt touch, my sincere thanks to Steve's wife. My expectations were not just met but exceeded in all departments so, I would rate my experience more than 5 stars. I hope to come back soon to further explore the trails.

Weekend Trip to Foxfield Farm
Had a fantastic time! Amazing value for the money. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Loved having a kitchen, shower, private bathroom, fire pit, outdoor propane grill, plenty of outdoor seating and a nice bed in a heated RV all for less than some local campgrounds charge for an empty cabin with no amenities.
Steve is a great host as well. Checked in via messages to see if we needed anything, made sure we were comfortable despite the weather getting near freezing at night, then left us to ourselves to enjoy our weekend.
It was the perfect retreat away from the city. Crisp Fall nights, starry skies and a crackling campfire. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Weekend Trip to Foxfield Farm
Absolutely perfect stay, and the hosts were so considerate! A space heater was on when I arrived, and the fire pit area was thoughtfully set up with all the supplies you need like split wood, kindling, and paper. So much more was provided, and we really appreciated it. My only tip - if you’re quite tall…maybe 5’10 or 5’11+, the sleeping areas might be cramped. But it was perfect for me at 5’4-5’5. The twin beds are a bit longer. Stella and Sinatra are the sweetest farm dogs too.

Josh and Becca are very friendly and welcoming. The camper we stayed in was very nice and modern. Our 6 yr old daughter had a blast playing with Josh's kids and the zip line. I would recommend staying here if you enjoy the outdoors and animals.

We were visiting family in Charles Town and stayed at Foxfield farm. We were not around much to appreciate the space, unfortunately, but we loved the trailer. No trouble finding it, and Steve was very prompt in responding to any requests. Highly recommend!

Steve was so welcoming and responsive. The camper was very clean and on such a beautiful property. I wish we had gotten there sooner so we could have utilized the fire pit located close by but we were just staying the night before continuing our road trip. Totally recommend booking with Steve!

2 nights at Treehouse Waters On The River
Amazing little place in the trees and by the river. My partner and I had an amazing time lounging on the dock and want to come back to fully enjoy the river when it's hotter next year! The fully equipped kitchen and that powerful little stove made us some great meals that felt perfect for the end of summer. Can't wait to return!

Highly recommend this Hipcamp! Even though my stay was cut short due to my work, I would come here again. Private camper all to yourself. Bathroom and shower is a plus. Firepit nearby, free firewood an added plus! Speaking with the owner, he has interesting stories about the property and the house that's on it. There is a pool available during the warmer months. I also came to stargaze, and the location did not disappoint

The RV was comfortable and well furnished. We enjoyed the firepit every night and dinner on the large picnic table and grilled some steak. It felt private even though there are neighbor nearby. Steve and his partner were very thoughtful hosta, providing pool towels and firewood as well. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Steve's place. The RV was cozy and comfortably fit our family. It had all the amenities we needed. Our children had a blast at the pool and playing on the old tennis court. Steve and his wife were really nice and we enjoyed chatting with them. They brought out extra toys for our children to enjoy which was super kind. The fire pit with included firewood was an added bonus. It was a nice and kid friendly getaway.

3 nights at Foxfield Farm
The RV had everything I needed, including peaceful surroundings (and a swimming pool)! I was doing a writing retreat and got a lot done. The wifi was always good and the table was big enough to spread some papers around on. I also loved taking early morning bike rides on the nearby C& O Canal trail. This is a real gem!

We had an amazing stay at Foxfield Farm. Just like the previous reviews, the RV was cozy and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Everything was clean and set up for a nice stay. We really liked the swimming pool and the fire pit at night.

Lovely place, fresh air, tree house is small but well suited, definitely coming back, love that is close to the river, had so much fun in it we fished with my daughter. She learned there how to ride a kayak for the first time. Over all little tree house is a must on a bucket list. As for the host very attentive, respectful. He has the place neat and well mantain. We love it. Thanks Mr. Bruce 🙏

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the RV! It was myself, one other person and our 3 dogs. We came from a city area up north looking for a secluded, peaceful getaway and we found it. Josh was an excellent host! The RV was spacious, well stocked and comfortable. We were close to activities in nearby towns as well. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and looking up at the stars outside the RV. We would definitely like to plan a future stay here.

I really felt at peace here ❤️ great location! The treehouse was pretty cool! I loved that the linens were fresh and the extra touches made the stay that much more easier, it had everything needed to cook! Even on the rainy days it was enjoyable!
