Tiny Hidden Ridge

My time at Tiny Cottage - there are so many qualities about this small house that let me block out the "noise" and reconnect with nature -- the area directly outside has a perfectly sized clearing for skygazing and campfires, it's internet-free (but wifi available if needing to connect - I didn't feel the pull and it was great!!), highly accessible water supply in jugs from the well (no running water) that frankly helped me feel more connected to simpler ways of life. The owners Tara and Shawn were responsive, courteous, and helpful. They anticipated my needs and provided with kindness. I didn't use the kitchenware, portable stove, or other cooking supplies but everything was provided, looked clean, and nicely arranged. There were some books available to read about macro farming and tiny houses (+more), and a twin bed with an extra bed available. The goats are so cool (SO COOL), and there were deer and bunnies scampering off every time I came up to camp. There's so much history to absorb nearby. I will end with - this spot gave me a great experience. Tiny Cottage, you've got my heart!

I loved how quiet and peaceful Tara’s campsite was!! The location was great, me and my boyfriend were super close to multiple scenic overlooks. Easy to find, great spot to get away. Definitely coming back!

This property has it all in terms of a glamping outdoor experience. The outdoor amenities with the sauna and hot tub were incredible. The indoor amenities had all the creature comforts you could ever want too.

Cute spot! I loved walking around the land & meeting the goats especially! You could tell the owners had some neat projects underway to accommodate more camping opportunities too ~ don’t miss out on what may be to come! This property was located conveniently close to Harper’s Ferry, which allowed us plenty of time to drive over & walk around the small historic town & then return to the campsite to make a delightful dinner over the campfire.

The Tiny Cottage was perfect and is in such a beautifully wild area. We only wish we got to stay and enjoy it longer! It was very charming and had everything we needed to land for the night on our move. We would definitely choose to come back and explore the area more another time.

The small farm was so cute and cozy, I felt so welcome there and the ambience was a pleasant break from the city. Between train horns in the distance, the reverberation of woodpeckers, cry of crows, and bleating of goats, I loved the peaceful vibes of the area. Tara and her husband were super kind and helpful!

We had a great time here and will definitley be returning! We got there when it was dark and directions and finding our site was a piece of cake. The 3 goats were so awesome and friendly, i loved watching them play and saying good morning and good night to them. There was so much to do in the area, it's a great place if you like to go antique hunting and hiking. But most of all we had the best hosts, i can't wait to come back🧡

The tiny home at Tiny Hidden ridge was lovely! Tara and Shawn were wonderfully attentive hosts, and the goats and cats on the property were a delight. Walkable distance to the Potomac, to Harpers Ferry, and to the Maryland Heights trail system. Really worth the visit. Thank you Tara & Shawn for a lovely weekend!

Goats, Private, Cozy Oh My!

We really enjoyed our short stay at the tiny cottage. It was perfect. I loved the way the cottage was decorated and the goats were icing on the cake! My boyfriend declared it to be one of his favorite places we have ever stayed.

This place is amazing!! And it had AC!! Everything you need for a cozy stay and some lovely goats as neighbors for entertainment. I would absolutely reccomend to anyone going to the Harper’s ferry area.

Tangerine and turquoise sanctuary.

This is a vibrant and adorable tiny house. We really loved the set up of the bed and bathroom. Lots of extras that we didn’t expect and we really enjoyed the little trail around the property to take the dog around. There are also goats that you can say hi to.

We loved the tiny house on Tara's farm. Tara was incredibly helpful with any request and for helping us pick the best sights to visit during our stay. The house and farm are inviting, clean and friendly! This includes the three goats who absolutely loved having visitors around! Highly recommend this as a nice place to camp/stay when visiting in and around Harpers Ferry!

Relaxing farm stay.

What a nice place to stay! I only stayed one night, but the cottage had everything I could need, and the farm was a nice quiet escape from routine. The instruction inside the cottage were a big help for dishes/toilet since there isn't running water, but the bottles of drinking water were great. I loved seeing the goats and the view of the sunset and the stars. Great stay!

We loved camping on Tara’s land! The views were beautiful and the animals were very friendly and adorable. The hosts went way beyond our expectations by allowing us to access to one of the tiny homes they have due to the current campfire ban. We were able to walk to Harper’s Ferry as it was only a couple miles and we saw a ton of wildlife. We would definitely recommend this to a friend! Thank you again!

The tiny house is wonderful for a weekend getaway, the property is in a bucolic setting with access to both the town of Harper’s ferry and the Maryland Heights trail. We had a lot of fun with the goats and were visited by many deer. Limited internet access in the house but made up for it by playing games we brought, reading etc. The space heater kept us warm, ample blankets for sleeping. All in all a great little getaway

Loved the Tiny House! It was very well stocked, clean, and adorable. Getting up to the loft bed was a little tricky to navigate, but I got a good system down eventually. Loved the proximity to the river and being able to walk to Harper's Ferry was great (parking there can be a real pain!) I enjoyed my stay and will be back!

Surprise Baby Moon

I booked the tiny house to celebrate my birthday. To our surprise, I learned im pregant just before the trip! So we had a surprise babymoon. I appreciate being allowed to push back my dates as the remnants of Helene were coming up. Sorry we didn't get to meet in person but we spent so much time out exploring we only had time to sleep while at the tiny house. The pear tree was a highlight of our whole trip! Thank you for having us!

Perfectly Located and So Peaceful

This is the perfect spot for exploring Harpers Ferry, the C&O, and surrounding towns. It’s peaceful and spacious, and setting up our tent was a breeze. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, and we enjoyed visiting the sweet goats and befriending a kitten named Cam. Hearing the nearby horses nicker was a special treat, too. We can't wait to go back!

I had a wonderful time. I highly recommend! Be prepared to climb to get to the bed and be comfortable with a compost toilet. Shawn and Tara were very nice, welcoming, and attentive to any questions.
