We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are located right outside of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Our area is home to many amazing restaurants, several breweries and cute downtown shops.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along Pine Creek at the southern end of the "PA Grand Canyon". It's an outdoor lover's dream. Cabin currently for rent.
The camp lies inside of Tiadaghton State Forest on the west side of Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The property is 5 acres, embedded deep in public land. On the property there is a cabin and one very large campsite (not currently in use).
The area is beautiful for paddling, floating, fishing, hiking, biking, rock skipping, dipping your toes, swimming hole gems, searching for waterfalls, writing retreats. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain bike and ATV trails, and some of the best fishing and stargazing on the East Coast. There is a 62 mile -rails-to-trails that runs along the other side of Pine Creek from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore, PA. Our camp is located on a secluded hill - a relaxing oasis removed from the rest of the world - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run around like crazy, play a lot of cards.
It a 2 minute walk from the property to public access to Pine Creek.
It is a 45 minute drive to paddle the Western Branch of the Susquehanna near Lock Haven, PA.

Greene Kitchen Farm has been farmed by the Greene family since 2013. If you step back in time a few owners, the Kitchen family with 8 boys and a girl farmed the land that surrounds the little tributary to Montour Run. The Greenes have been pasturing the majority of the land in nature's image with an eye toward biomimicry and an agro-forestal, savannah landscape. The herbivores pulse through the landscape with flocks of birds following them.

I am 25 minutes from Wellsboro PA and the Pa Grand Canyon with a 62 mile rail trail, bike and kayak rentals are 40 minutes away, one hour to Finger lakes, locally there is lots of hiking, fishing and exploring. 4 wheel drive maybe needed in winter for my driveway.

We had a wonderful, quick weekend getaway to Camp Skipping Rock! We had 2 adults and 5 teenagers with us and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. If you are looking for a “fancy” place to stay, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, private, cosy camp, this is the place for you. We loved the big yard and the proximity to the creek was great. The boys spent a ton of time swimming and fishing, while the girls painted rocks, swam and put puzzles together. Our dogs loved the freedom this private camp provided and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everyone in our group agreed that we should come back for a longer stay. Had an amazing experience at Pear Tree Cove for two nights of camping! Erin and her husband Tim were so accommodating and helpful even sharing local spots for me to visit while I was in the area. Beautiful concrete pad to set up on not to mention the surrounding garden with various vegetables and strawberries. Then there is the mountain spring water you connect to for your water source. Camper site was immaculate. It was super private, clean, flat and easy to get the camper parked and hooked up. The host was very kind with answering questions and helping trouble shoot some water issues I had and the location is quiet, dark and private. The fire pit was a nice touch and the beautiful barn you park behind has been meticulously restored. We will absolutely be staying again.

After a very long day of driving, I was happy to arrive at the farm. I chose The Aspens site to tent camp, and it was so pleasant. Surrounded by trees and pastureland, with a small stream running through, everything was calm and relaxing. Joshua and his whole family greeted me, which was such a kind gesture. It had rained hard that day, and a bundle of dry fire wood was waiting for me. It’s clear they work hard to maintain such a beautiful farm. The cows were my neighbors and were surprisingly quiet! It was a lovely place to rest my head after a long day on the road. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Dancing Hen Farm
We stayed in the Beach Bus for one night after exploring Ricketts Glen, and our only regret is not staying longer! This place is truly incredible … such a great escape from city living & such a relaxing spot to stay after hiking. Kathleen & Don were great hosts - the bus is equipped with everything you need (and more) & they’re very accessible if anything else comes up. Definitely recommend!

Forks Farm is amazing! This is a perfect location for fishing with the creek running right next to it. Such a beautiful property and the fact that it’s an organic farm with a 24/7 farm store is a major bonus. Also, they have to have the cleanest outhouse I’ve ever seen. We’ll definitely be back with a bigger group. It was perfect for my son and I but can easily accommodate a lot more.

I stayed at primitive site 4 and loved it! It was very secluded,which I really like when camping. Awesome there was very easy access to the creek,had a couple of tables and endless firewood for $10! It poured one day when I stayed. The creek didn’t rise and there was no flooding. A lot of coverage from the trees but a pop up is a great idea to bring. Port a potties were clean and convenient. Not far from some cute towns(Lewisburg and Selinsgrove) and some state parks. The only thing that could use some improvement are the stairs down to the site. They were manageable but I think it would make taking things up and down more safe. There is a bit of traffic noise from across the creek but t the sound of the water drowns it out so it wasn’t unbearable. I am definitely booking this site again!
