We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are located right outside of Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Our area is home to many amazing restaurants, several breweries and cute downtown shops.

Welcome to our little slice of heaven along Pine Creek at the southern end of the "PA Grand Canyon". It's an outdoor lover's dream. Cabin currently for rent.
The camp lies inside of Tiadaghton State Forest on the west side of Pine Creek in the Pennsylvania Wilds. The property is 5 acres, embedded deep in public land. On the property there is a cabin and one very large campsite (not currently in use).
The area is beautiful for paddling, floating, fishing, hiking, biking, rock skipping, dipping your toes, swimming hole gems, searching for waterfalls, writing retreats. There are hundreds of miles of hiking, mountain bike and ATV trails, and some of the best fishing and stargazing on the East Coast. There is a 62 mile -rails-to-trails that runs along the other side of Pine Creek from Wellsboro to Jersey Shore, PA. Our camp is located on a secluded hill - a relaxing oasis removed from the rest of the world - read a book in a hammock, build campfires, grill yummy food, let the kids run around like crazy, play a lot of cards.
It a 2 minute walk from the property to public access to Pine Creek.
It is a 45 minute drive to paddle the Western Branch of the Susquehanna near Lock Haven, PA.

There are 3 campsites and one cabin located in the gap of the little Mahanoy Mountain and line Mountain range along the little Mahanoy creek. All four campsites have creek access and come with picnic table garbage can and fire ring and Firewood is usually available. There are two Porta potty‘s one located at each end of the sites. There are trails for hiking which extends along an abandoned railroad bed and also up into State game lands and into the deep woods. The hiking in the woods is on an incline. But the hiking on the railroad bed is pretty unintense. There is parking at each site. The sites are spread out along the creek bed ranging from more of a rustic primitive tent camping on site 4 to an open site on site 1.

The history of the Pump House began in 1878, when three ambitious men hatched a plan for the world's first long-distance underground oil pipeline which would transport oil from well to refinery more quickly and efficiently than the horse-drawn wagons of the time. Pumping stations were needed every fifty miles along this long route to keep pressure on the pipeline so that the oil could reach its destination. Pump House Bed and Breakfast is one of the only properties in the country in which the both the original homes of the foremen and the large brick buildings remain. Doug, owner, has spent more than 20 years lovingly restoring these foreman houses as well as the large industrial brick buildings. The Brick Barn Hall once housed steam pumps to pressurize the pipe and keep the oil moving, and the Catawissa Cabin behind it served as the telegraph office. The Studio Hall contained boilers that produced the steam to power the pumps, while the adjoining Studio Cabin functioned as a blacksmith's workspace. Today, the buildings function as reception spaces for weddings and other special events, and house private suites as well as an art studio where Doug pursues his work and teaches drawing, ceramics, and stained glass classes. We had a wonderful, quick weekend getaway to Camp Skipping Rock! We had 2 adults and 5 teenagers with us and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. If you are looking for a “fancy” place to stay, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, private, cosy camp, this is the place for you. We loved the big yard and the proximity to the creek was great. The boys spent a ton of time swimming and fishing, while the girls painted rocks, swam and put puzzles together. Our dogs loved the freedom this private camp provided and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everyone in our group agreed that we should come back for a longer stay. Enjoyed a stay on Doug's land in the Frank Tiny House. Everything exactly as described and then some. Bed was super comfortable and little house was when stocked. Even had a mini fridge. Bathroom and shower house were clean and easy to find in the dark. Property offered secluded hikes and even had a map marked to see different trees and things. Loved the stay and would definitely do again for longer if in the area. Made an adorable little fury friend in the cat. He followed us around and even slept on the porch of the camp for part of the night!

Weekend Trip to Dancing Hen Farm
We stayed in the Beach Bus for one night after exploring Ricketts Glen, and our only regret is not staying longer! This place is truly incredible … such a great escape from city living & such a relaxing spot to stay after hiking. Kathleen & Don were great hosts - the bus is equipped with everything you need (and more) & they’re very accessible if anything else comes up. Definitely recommend!

Host was very friendly and accommodating shuttling my belongings to the site.
Fire ring stocked with firewood was very nice.
No electricity without a warm shower was unfortunate as there was no sun to warm the solar shower that was available.
Outhouse was clean.

My boyfriend, Carlos, and I stayed at Pocono Pines Bed & Breakfast’s glamping site, and it exceeded every expectation we had.
I’m not a camping girl, but after seeing photos online, I had to experience glamping! The site is even more beautiful in person! peaceful, magical, and surrounded by nature. Reminded me of the twilight movie!
Donna was incredibly kind and accommodating, even when we decided at the last minute to bring our kids for the first night. When we arrived, Al and her daughter, Jess were already setting up our extra tent, helped transport our belongings with the 4x4, and made us feel completely at home.
Every detail was thoughtfully planned; from the cozy décor and comfortable bed to the fire starters, extra blankets, guest binder, journal, bug spray, and even complimentary firewood. We stayed warm! You can truly tell this place was created with love and care!
Our kids had the best time making s’mores, catching frogs, climbing trees, and being completely unplugged from electronics. One night, Carlos and I even slept under the stars by the campfire and it became one of the most romantic nights we’ve ever shared. Al, the cot was a great idea, ty!
This wasn’t just a place to stay! It was an experience we’ll always remember. Thank you, Donna, Al, and Jess, for your incredible hospitality and for sharing your little slice of heaven with us. We’ll absolutely be back! ❤️

We had a wonderful glamping stay! The site is well-kept, serene, and surrounded by woods, offering a peaceful escape into nature with all the necessary amenities provided.
What we loved most was the balance: it gives you that secluded, tucked-away feeling amidst the trees, but because the hosts are close by, it feels completely safe and approachable (you can hear a road nearby, but it didn't take away from the relaxing woods vibe at all).
Alan was an incredible host—so welcoming and always ready to help whenever we needed anything. It was also a fantastic spot for our family: both our toddler and our dog had an absolute blast! We definitely recommend staying here.

BLT cabin is a great getaway! My daughter and I were able to get away and enjoyed the seclusion with our dog. Even though it rained most of the day Saturday, Stephanie had plenty of dry firewood that we could still cook and have a fire between storms. My daughter is young and weirded out by outhouses, but even she said Stephanie's was very clean and didn't feel like an outhouse at all! The cabin was very well stocked (we packed well anyway), but very impressive how well Stephanie makes sure guests have everything they may need. I highly recommend for families looking to get away. Plenty of seating, tables, beds. Very comfortable!
