Enjoy the private back acre of our 2-acre parcel. RV parking is separated from the main house by a barn and Morton building. Set up camp overlooking what used to be a grassy yard, but is now a walkable wildflower meadow. Enjoy the meadow paths and entire property's yard. Pets are welcome, but must be leashed at all times - our dog is friendly, but will also be leashed when outside.
The house and barn were built in the late 1800s and are currently being restored. There will be no construction activity during your stay, but there may be assorted projects in process visible near buildings. Please do not enter buildings unless accompanied by a property owner.
Many restaurants, breweries, distilleries and parks are just minutes away in Bellefonte! When visiting them, we recommend going straight out of our driveway onto Clemens instead of turning right onto Valentine Hill. Valentine has tight turns that are a challenge to navigate in an RV or with a trailer.

We call our 10 acre, secluded property Cold Springs. We have spent 15 years here curating lovely areas to relax, party at and invite others to call it a home away from home. The camping areas are in the back of the property and are surrounded by woods and secluded from view of the house. There are paths leading to the pond which is a great reading area and fishing spot plus a canoe and paddleboat to enjoy. Last summer (2022) we added a tipi to the camping area. We are centrally situated between State College PA, and historic Huntingdon PA home of Juniata College, and Belleville PA (Home to the second oldest Amish community in the country) where you can attend the famous sale every Wednesday.

Great stay! The cabin was exactly as described and offered the perfect escape from the crowds. The interior was cozy with everything you needed for a stay regardless of timeframe; Theresa was incredibly communicative and welcoming. I especially enjoyed the secluded atmosphere of the cabin and variety of unique animals on property. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for serenity and a unique experience. I can't wait to visit again!

All-around, this is a beautiful campground!🏕️ Yes, it is next to the highway and fire department, so if you want quiet, it may not be for you; Otherwise, it was totally worth the trip! There is cell service and it is a close enough to walk to essentials in either direction. Very clean bathroom/shower facilities.

The site is close to the road, but also close to the restrooms which have showers and sinks. Site also close to the rec room with a ping pong and a pool table. This came in handy the evening it rained. The facilities were just back over a little bridge. Our group actually used four sites that came together as one and held the tents, pop-up shelters, vehicles and equipment trailer. It was our second stay in two years and both times it worked out great! Very close to museums, fishing streams, and both the Horseshoe and Altoona Curve.

Our group of friends celebrated our 50th anniversary stay at Bald Eagle this year. We love this campground with its plush green surrounding, native trout streams and clean camp sites. This campground is easy to get to and close to convivence stores for camping supplies.
If you like to fish for trout, the Bald Eagle Creek is stocked with fish and less than a mile away and less than an hour from State College.

Ben was wonderful! When my van got stuck in the mud on a nearby property on the way to camp, he personally drove a backhoe over and pulled me out. Then he led me to the campsite AND parked my trailer for me. I can't put into words how thankful I was for his help. Above and beyond doesn't cut it. And the campsite it beautiful!

Super cozy, relaxing, and beautiful surroundings with a kind & responsive host. The bed and the sofa are extremely comfortable, and the in-cabin stove and solar-powered mini fridge are very convenient. The heater keeps the cabin nice and warm on colder nights, too. My husband and I loved having our "mini moon" here, building a campfire, lounging on the porch, walking the trails, and greeting the animals! Would love to come back in the summer.
