The ranch offers 7 different campsites and a Cabin. Campfires are allowed (outside of burn bans), and there is a flush toilet in off season and additional Port-A-Potties during the summer on site as well.

We were warmly greeted right away and oriented to the site. We could park any where we felt comfortable in the camping areas, and we felt safe and able to unwind in the quiet, spaciousness. We were impressed by the unique, innovative human waste processing system they have, which was like most composting toilets to use. Showers and hand/dish washing were great (wooden showers by the tea room especially lovely). The stream by the family area though more shallow, was lovely and didn't have the noise of the pump at the deeper hole area. The sauna was sublime. The tea house was delightful and the book of the origins of Spirit Weavers was so inspirational, I highly recommend looking through it, it helped me connect to the land and intentions of this site in a sacred way that filled me with gratitude.

This is our third year going here! Even on long road trips, it is worth going the extra hours out of the way just to spend time on the farm.. The farm is a magical place where kids are encouraged to explore, get their hands dirty and play. It is unlike any other place we have been. Who makes this place extra special is a wonderful man named Dar. He is amazing with kids. Dar has the spirit of a teacher patient, calm, and always excited to share his knowledge about the plants, animals, farming. He empowers kids and makes them feel they can do anything and are really making a difference on the farm. My son calls it his paradise. He is so excited to learn new things and help around the farm that he barely wants to go explore the beautiful redwoods right around the corner. This year we brought our friends and their kids. Instantly they felt the way we do about the farm and Dar. It’s a special place!

.The reverence for this powerful land is palpable.. I appreciated the shrines as much as the structures. The way the camp is set up is so well thought out. I love the tea room, the kitchen and that beautiful shower room overlooking the river. The people who work there are wonderful. Staying in the gnome dome was delightful. I can’t believe how cool it was even during the hottest part of the afternoons.
I wish I had known how high above the river we were. As an old lady with arthritis, I was unable to access either one of the steep paths down to the river. It’s a camp designed for able bodied people. Even simple things like no hand rails on the steps to the toilets made it more difficult for me to negotiate.
But even with the mobility challenges, it was a deeply healing experience staying there. When we left, we were surprised at the shift in energy. Cave Junction is a funky Oregon town, very different in feeling from Cedar Bloom. You have created an oasis of beauty, power and delight. Thank you!

I loved having access to a full kitchen, chest freezer, and walk-in cooler (note that the temp was around 50-60 degrees so we kept our food in cooler bags with ice in the walk-in cooler to make sure nothing spoiled). My favorite parts of our stay were the shower house with the beautiful patio, the tea house, and all the different river access points — especially jumping off the little floating dock! The river is so clear and a stunning blueish-teal color. Couldn’t recommend this place enough — it was my favorite glamping experience :)

We got upgraded to the gnome dome, so i am unsure of how the trailer is, but we loved staying in the dome! It was homey and clean. The campgrounds were amazing with the amenities.

The structure is very simple, but perfect for our needs.
We are typically tent campers and this was a great way to just get away and not load as much gear.
I was unable to enjoy a lot of the features due to recovering from bilateral knee replacement surgery. But everybody spoke highly of swimming in the river.

Weekend Trip to Redwood Retreat
The tree-dome is truly magical! The property feels like such a special escape and everywhere you look there’s something to notice. So much thought has been put into the space, I felt so lucky to stay here! Going to sleep under the trees was so peaceful and we loved having our morning coffee in the provided chairs on the upper deck. I wish we had more time to spend here, I would definitely visit again!

Weekend Trip to Secluded Riverfront Camp: 12 Acres
I had the most amazing time at Kae and Alex‘s beautiful retreat. I was working in the area for a few days and it was really hard to leave the site to go to my gigs. I can hardly wait to go back and stay fully immersed. There are so many thoughtful touches to this space and I felt so cozy and relaxed.
The tent is amazing, the water is perfection and the resident dog, River, was my closest companion for the whole trip. He is so sweet and such a good boy and he dutifully followed me around making sure I was safe. Any little sound of a critter rustling in the bushes and he made it known they weren’t welcome and is a true protective sheepdog. As a female solo camper I greatly appreciated his company. He is well trained and never messed with my food, even if I let a delicious plate sit for a couple minutes while I jumped up to grab something.
The hot shower was AWESOME. 💦
The fire pit was great and easily managed with a good bundle of kindling. I don’t recommend bringing large trunks of wood unless you plan on breaking them down on site. It’s best to keep the fire small and low with the metal grate on top, feeding it as necessary for the warm glow & to keep any mosquitoes at bay.
Already planning my next trip to Windy River Ranch.

This site was lovely to stay at! You could tell the host put a lot of attention and love into making this a peaceful getaway spot. Everything was just too cute, & the complimentary cocoa and card games were much appreciated :)
The host provided all we needed, and was great at responding fast to us. Would recommend Carolina’s site 1000%!

We glamped in the little A Frame in early July. And seriously so lovely the detail to everything and the land is incredibly cared for, respected and loved and you can tell. You should absolutely book the trip. And we brought our dog and he loved it!!
