Powder Creek Campground

Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a valley, surrounded by forest in the Oregon Coast Range. The campground is in a secluded meadow next to Powder Creek, a pristine year round stream, perfect for wading and playing in.  If you're looking to unplug and escape from the chaos of city life, we are all about peace and quiet and connecting with nature. 

Each of our 13 large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. All sites accommodate RVs as well as tent camping.

One of the campsites is next to the beaver pond, where you're likely to see a variety of wildlife.

Our property also has 1/2 mile of Nestucca River frontage where you can swim or fish, whichever floats your boat. Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is 23 miles away in Pacific City.

We also offer pasture raised pork for sale. A variety of sausages (breakfast, chorizo, Italian, Bratwurst and Kielbasa), bacon (when available), pork chops and roasts.

BeaverCreek Artfarm/ Heart Barn

This beautiful piece of paradise has been in my family for over 100 years. I am very blessed to live here and proudly care for it now, and plan to keep it in our family forever. Come camp, reset and recharge on the beautiful central Oregon coast. Nestled in the lush Beavercreek valley, we are just outside the fog zone in our own sweet little weather bubble. We have a variety of wetland wildlife here including a visiting elk herd, a large and beautiful variety of birds and various small critters.. Early summer dawn bird song is just amazing! 🎶 It’s lush and green and feels like the earth is hugging you when you’re camping in the carefully carved in marsh-field nooks. There are various camp “sites” to choose from, in the big field or the smaller meadow, with shade and/or sunshine & you choose which spot you’d like to stay in once you arrive. 
Feel free to check out all of the Barn and other communal spaces like: the beautiful dome for chillin in, stargazing bed in the tall field grass, the “Wookie Nook”- secret relaxing nurselog tree in the far right of the field, lounge chairs under the Cedar in the meadow, forest walk, the Legacy Lounge-art, antique and family memorabilia room-through the mural painted door…make yourself at home 💝

It is generally quiet and peaceful out here and a super sweet rustic getaway. Weekends of course are more lively, but still plenty room to spread out and have your own peaceful space. 
You can have solitude out at your camp, or come to the communal barn areas for a more social time. Inside the Barn has a more “hostel” feel with couches and lounge areas, dining room area tables and chairs, dance floor with Labyrinth to walk, stage, hula hoops, fun props, art and antiques to enjoy! The  Black light art and ping pong room is not to miss!! 

   There’s a Full kitchen (minus an oven) in the  corner of the barn with all you need to cook, serve and eat. (Charcoal)Bbq shed outside the barn next to the communal fire pit. Just past those is the cedar shingled shower house with a wood fired sauna too. (I generally have firewood for sale here.) There’s 4 Porta potties on-site, but also, please feel free to pee outside. 😁

   On the way to the HeArt Barn, just off of hwy 101 is Ona Beach state park. There you can kayak, canoe, paddleboard -or some even swim- on the east side of the hwy. The beach and beautiful state park is on the west side with Beaver creek flowing through it and a lovely bridge over it. We are just 5 minute drive form there. There are a couple hikes along the way, and also for jogging or biking..

    I believe in living as simply and peacefully as possible, in harmony with all neighbors of all species; -plants, animals and humans- in order to do my part to sustain healthy life on this planet. I know that I am blessed for having been raised here and since I’ve come home, I live in gratitude for this blessing every day; and am so thankful to be able to share some of it with you. Our small farm in located just minutes from town in the rural town Independence Oregon.  You will located close to shopping, wineries, hospital and all your basic needs while enjoying the eclipse on private peaceful land.  Learn more about this land:We are a 10 acre farm in the heart of the path of the 2017 eclipse.  We have a very large field to offer wonderful views of the eclipse.  Some shade available.  Wonderful coast range views as well.  Fully fenced and secure.  Close to town yet private feel.

The Flying F Ranch Bunkhouse

We are a working black angus cattle ranch in the Willamette Valley.

Our neighbors include wineries, vineyards and commercial farms. We've been at the property for 22 years and would love to share it with you!

The bunkhouse in nestled in the middle of a 115 acre pasture, surrounded by timber. As a "working" ranch, you will be sharing this space with the herd. They may be curious about you, but will not bother you.

Roshambo ArtFarm

Close to area cities, but private and beautiful. Campsites are along the woods in an open meadow. We have a tasting room nearby where we serve cider, perry and wine that we make here (open Fri-Sun, 3-9pm in summer). Lots of great bird watching, beautiful gardens and great backdrop of the coast Range. 

The tree line behind the garden shades is where the glamping tents are located.

They happened to have live music during our stay - it was such a blast! :)
