Loved it, Just Wanted More Info
Roam Tillamook was a solid spot for my first Hipcamp experience and my first time camping with a Sprinter Van. I'm not sure if this was more Hipcamp, or more Roam Tillamook, but the imagery on the site did not match what my site looked like (not bad, just different) and where my site was located, had barely any signage other than the map that I picked up when I got there. Their office never seemed to be open either (granted I may have left early each morning and gotten in late) so I wasn't sure if how we parked and our set up was what we were supposed to do. It looked like the site was meant to be Tent-Only, but HipCamp let me book it with a 24ft Sprinter Van (Class B). So we just backed into the grass and called it good. The other hiccup was that there were little to no instructions on how to check in, and what was needed. Luckily, the "registered" bin was easy to find outside the office, I found my name, and saw my site on the map. The Roam Site experience as a whole was incredible: every other patron was kind and polite, the bathrooms were so clean, I felt safe, other people kept their dogs leashed and the grounds were so well kept. It was easy to find spots to dump my pups' poop bags and dump our grey water at the end of the trip. No issues whatsoever. I would no doubt return here whether it was with a Sprinter Van, book a cabin spot or even just my tent. (Also, bummed to miss out on the office merch space, they had a shirt I saw through the window I would have bought).
