Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

There is a covered patio with a picnic table and BBQ for use while you stay. Also, a fire pit in the yard (bring your own wood). Water hookup for your RV is under the patio and there is a 50ft hose there for use if you need it.

offering up an area on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Badminton and cornhole available on request. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome! We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them. Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer. We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots. We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of. During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like. Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers** Please feel free to ask me any questions, we are willing to make accommodations for special situations/events if possible!

Camp on Puget Island, in a peaceful, pastoral setting with views of the hills and cliffs on both sides of the river. Fire ring is available year round regardless of fire bans. A large grassy field offers ample space, and a private kayak launch is a short walk through a cottonwood forest. I had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Slow Boat Farm. Brad & Lisa were lovely hosts & very responsive. They greeted me when I arrived and guided me to the camp area (I arrived after dark) and stopped by to say goodbye and deliver some treats when I left. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. I was looking for a place to chill out, read a book and hang out with my dog - this was perfect.

We chose this site because of the proximity to Hagg Lake and Tree to Tree Adventure park, as a summer last hurrah for our kids. Scott and his dog Hilda were very friendly hosts, stopping in to check on us— Hilda is clearly a common camp visitor as she hung out at our camp for a few hours each day. It was thoughtfully laid out and had several spots for tents. Scott provided water and a clean portapotty. It was pretty dusty as we came at the tail end of a dry summer, so be sure to prepare for that. Overall it was a lovely experience and I’m thankful we had the opportunity to visit.

We loved tent camping on Scott’s property! This location is ideal for large groups. There are several large tent pads, parking for multiple vehicles, and it’s secluded area. We had 2 dogs with us who enjoyed meeting his small pup and spending time roaming the property. The lake has several access points within half a mile.

I loved RV camping at this property. It was incredibly quiet during the day. Having the fire pit and table right next to the camping site was perfect. We biked each day on the Banks/ Vernonia trail. Abby’s place is in a great location. Close to everything. We walked to dinner and could have walked to many other things. The beach is just a short drive away. We were able to let the dog out on her cord and she had room to move around. There wasn’t anyone staying in the house while we were there which made it more comfortable for us. The full hookups are always appreciated! There is some road noise but it gets quiet at night. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Was a beautiful and spacious campground! The shower and bathroom were a God-send. The picnic table was convenient and movable. Brad and Lisa were so helpful! :)
