Welcome to Sunset Bay Meadows! We have several tent/RV sites, a yurt, and one group camping site. Once a dairy farm and part of the old Simpson estate our property offers mushroom picking seasonally whey you may find Chanterelle & Hedgehog mushrooms. We're close to the beach and the Sunset Bay Golf Course is on the same property. Lots of hiking trails and you can connect with Sunset Bay State Park our neighbor. We have a private, secluded campground that is wind sheltered with approximately 20 acres of space in which to use our covered table, picnic tables, fire pit, fire rings at individual campsites, BBQ, sauna and outdoor propane-fired shower. The camp area is tucked away among large spruce trees and open meadows which lead to endless trails on the property, with the option to buy a round of golf at Sunset Bay Golf Course, which is right next door to the camp area. We’re just short of a mile from Sunset Bay, where you will find kayaking, fishing and a great spot for kids. The Whiskey Run mountain bike trails are a short drive away and are truly world-class trails. The Sunset Bay State Park has a huge trail network that spans the cliff line all the way from Sunset Bay to Cape Arago. Chuck’s Seafood in Charleston is a great spot to pick up local seafood. 11 Mile River Camp

2 sites · RVs, Tents10 acres · Umpqua, OR
Welcome to the river! This beautiful 10 acre property is located on the scenic main Umpqua River. Enjoy excellent, year-round fishing, kayaking, and swimming right from your private and secluded campsite. Our property is located between 2 boat ramps which makes kayak, canoe, or raft floats a breeze. The property features beautiful, mature trees, fun bedrock to explore, and an amazing swimming hole (in the summertime when the river level is low enough). Sit at the river’s edge and enjoy the sounds of the water. Be sure to watch for soaring Eagles, jumping fish, and the occasional mink on the opposite river's edge! There are multiple wineries nearby and lots of hiking trails within a short drive. There is no cell service at the property - please plan ahead and check local burn ban policies before you go. The "owners area" camping spot is a large, graveled, gated area that has trees between the road and parking. There is a port-a-potty for use in the summer months. There is also a fire pit on the lower level overlooking the river, a hidden tree swing, and deck with picnic table. The "site 1" camping spot has a driveway that is hard-packed grass and is not gated. There is a small fire pit on the path by the river. There are areas under the trees both up top near the road and down near the path that are suitable for tents. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a fully manicured campground. There are bushes and grasses that grow year round. We do our best to keep things trimmed and accessible. Sometimes (especially in the spring) things grow more quickly than we can get to them. Please don't expect this to be a perfectly mowed, backyard-type site.

Our beautiful bluff property is close to charming old town Bandon, world class beaches, Bullards State Park, Whiskey Run mountain bike trails, Bandon Dunes golf resort, and more. We're close to all the amenities yet private and peaceful, with a large open meadow surrounded by river, forest, and cranberry bogs. We welcome self-contained campers only (no toilet available), and offer guests potable hose water and a trash bin. Pets allowed but must be kept near your campsite. We have two sites available: Prosper Bluff with river access can accommodate groups and vehicles large or small. This open field camp with expansive views of the majestic Coquille River and Bandon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is perfect for those who prioritize a spectacular view, privacy away from other campers, in proximity to town and recreation opportunities. There is river and dock access (along with more views!) from our hiking trail adjacent to the campsite. You have the entire bluff meadow and trail to yourself, ensuring you and your fellow campers can relax and explore with as much privacy as possible. **AVAILABLE FOR BOOKING SOON - please check back later** Lost Valley Van Camp can accommodate one campervan or truck camper (no RVs; self-contained car campers okay). This site has nearby cranberry bogs and forest. It's shaded by trees which also block the site from the frequent wind that can whip through in the summer. Room to pull through for easy in and out. A short walk or drive across the meadow to water and trash. Great for for a quick stopover on your way up or down the coast, or a stay while riding the incredibly fun Whiskey Run bike trails. Camp Catching

3 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · Coos Bay, OR
Learn more about this land: Camp Catching is located on Catching Slough a beautiful tidal water way located in the Coos Sumner area near Coos Bay. Home lands to the Coos and Coquille tribes. Camp catching is a part of Blue Barns Farms, a 6 acres homestead located on Old Wagon Rd. This area is considered a “Banana Belt” as during the summer it is often 15 degrees warmer than “in town” and outside of the fog bank that is often seen daily closer to the ocean. It is a great place to set up camp while exploring other areas of our beautiful community. The Oregon Bay Area ( Coos County) is a True Hidden Gem. You can go from mountain to sea; exploring waterfalls to playing at the beach all in one day. We have 3 camping areas around our little blue barn and surrounding area. Each camp spot has a solo fire pit and picnic table (please note: fires will be permitted based on fire risk.) All 3 camping spots have access to Catching Slough for paddle boarding and kayaking; I have been known to even swim on a hot day. We have two paddle boards, one double kayak and a child kayak (less than 130 lbs) available for camper use. Catching slough is influenced by the tides and contains brackish waters- both add additional magic to this area. This means twice a day the slough empties traveling to the ocean and fills up again. High tide is a great time for paddle boarding and kayaking; low tide is wonderful for watching birds and other animals. Anytime is actually great for bird watching! We have a number of different species of birds that rest here while migrating- the opportunity to see them all depends on the time of year that you visit. You can also watch fish jump in the bend of the slough. Other oddities that we have seen since living here over the last 7 years- swimming deer and even a seal(only once)! Everyone who comes to visit finds the slough mesmerizing and beautiful! For facilities we have an outdoor shower and Porter potties that are emptied regularly. Our little Blue Barn is a communal space offering a refrigerator, kettle and tea house. There is also a barbecue located outside the barn for camps use.

River View

4 sites · RVs3 acres · Florence, OR
Glenada was incorporated in 1912 and disincorporated in 1922 after the town's sawmills burned. This side of the river was pretty bustling before the Siuslaw bridge was built in 1936, being quite a transformative event considering the ferry from Glenada to Florence was the main way across the river. River View is located up on Glenada mountain, on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere, with 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land. We have firewood bundles and farm-fresh eggs available for additional fees. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This is a beautiful rustic property close enough to Hwy 101 to be convenient but far enough away to enjoy all the wildlife the Siuslaw River has to offer. Bird watching at its finest! Not to mention the view of Old Town! Learn more about this land: River View is located on the upper level of our three-acre lot. We have a free-range farm atmosphere. We have 2 children, 2 large dogs, a cat, and 12 chickens. We allow Hip Campers to bring animals on the property with the understanding that they are good around children and other animals, as our kids and pets are often running around the land just below the campsite. We offer firewood bundles and farm-fresh chicken eggs for an additional fee. THERE IS NO TOILET on the property. This is not a tent camping site unless you have your own porta-potty set up. This little slice of rugged heaven is just above the Siuslaw River and right off of Hwy 101. There is a steep gravel driveway but once at the top, it is flat and the view is pretty amazing. From camp, you can see Old Town. Gaze down at the Siuslaw River and all the wildlife that comes with it! We regularly see deer, red tail hawks, ospreys, and bald eagles. We have also had a bear that passes through, so beware of leaving food out. There are plenty of places to hike and visit nearby dunes, rivers, lakes, parks, and the ocean. Enjoy Florence's amazing food (ask the host for her favorites). Walk down to Old Town for dinner or bring back take-out and eat it in the tiny house (no electricity or running water). Take a short walk to Pricket state park for clamming or just relax with a book and feel the breeze off the river.  Whatever you enjoy, we’re sure you can find something close by! No bathroom or running water but there are 2 electrical plugs (110V and 220V) available.
