Nice clean campsites with windbreaks for the inevitable wind. Sears lake is beautiful and a very serene paddle. The Lake pasture is very well located for coastal exploring with nice beaches across the street and nearby.

3 nights at Green Crest Memorial Park

I booked this last minute on Fourth of July weekend and was surprised to be able to even get a spot. I was a little nervous that it was available and the location but once we got there, it was amazing. Joe was very kind offered us a lot of extra amenities and gave us tips on fishing. There is also a lot of creeks and rivers and things to do within 10 minutes. But really you don’t even need to leave with the pond and the beautiful view. Long story short I will go there again. Great place and close to lots of other fun activities.

4 nights at Two Rivers & Mohawk Love Farms

Great little camping spot! We stayed 5 days and on a few of them there were no other campers, which made it even nicer, but the sites are just far enough from each other that you’re not coming out of your tent in the morning to see someone else coming out of theirs, which is nice. We were in site #2 which was the smallest site so I’d suggest only do that site if you have a smaller car and a smaller tent. We definitely plan on camping here again next year when we’re in town again, but I’d prefer site 1, 4, or 5 to have a bit more room. But site 4 is right across from the outhouse though so note that other campers could be walking right by that site when they use the bathroom. The barn bathroom is a long walk, we just drove to it. The shower is awesome with great water pressure and a head-height window view of the farm while you shower.:) Composting toilets didn’t stink at all - check for spider webs before sitting down though!!:) BlackBerry bushes along the gravel road are loaded with blossoms right now so whoever camps in the next few weeks will have lots of blackberries to eat! Jodie was quick to respond with any questions we had during our stay.

Jim’s camp was hands down one of the best camps my family has stayed in (and I travel with 2 teenagers!!). Jim came out to welcome us soon after arrival and was so kind, a truly a wonderful host! He even helped us with firewood. His property is BEAUTIFUL and extremely well cared for - there were personalized touches throughout. We walked the property in awe (truly) of the old trees, and all the natural “amenities”. We took some breathtaking photos of the sunset. I LOVED collecting a few fresh herbs from the “Food Forest” for my pie iron pizza! We tent camp and slept like babies in the serene setting, under the Heritage Grove trees of Jim’s farm. I’d book this stay again any day (and so would my husband and the kids!)

Me and my friend loved staying here. It was truly magical! Literally walked 3 mins to the beach to fly a kite, so fun! The lake was gorgeous too. Perfect place to find peace. The sound of the ocean and the frogs was so tranquil at night. The port-a-potties were clean. We felt safe and comfortable. The owner came by to say hello and he also gave us some apples and bagels to feed the llama and sheep! It was awesome. My dog loved watching the animals as much as we did! We bought fire wood on site which continently came with fire starter and matches. Thank you, we feel so lucky to have stayed here!

Our family loved camping at this spot. This isn’t the first time we are coming back here. We love that the beach is just across the road and it’s very clean here including the bathrooms which is important when you have kids. The sheep and llama are very cute too. It does get cold though so you have to pack well for that. Dave is great and he really looks after the place well.

I enjoyed very much camping at Heritage Grove near Silver Falls State Park. The views were beautiful. The site is clean. I would camp here again when visit Silver Falls State Park.

1 night at Coastal Farm Sanctuary

The site is grassy, small, and peaceful. There is some construction across the street, but they keep to 8am–4pm hours, so it wasn’t a problem during my stay. The outdoor shower is a highlight—open to nature and not yet enclosed, so it may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy. I personally loved it, especially the river rock floor and the large flagstone to stand on while soaping up. Surrounded by greenery, it feels calm and grounding. The hosts were kind and clearly have a deep love for their land.

2 nights at Creekside Retreat At Triangle Lake

The campsite was perfect, and the camp hosts were super helpful and awesome 😊 the camp runs right along a creek that leads onto the lake, just a short walk from plenty of swimming holes and places to launch kayaks and paddleboards and floaties. We had a great time and hope to come back soon!

A steep fire road (for 4wheel drive... or pack in access) leads into the woods for shady sites or camp below nearer the creek in an open grassy area in front of the house. Experienced 4-wheeling drivers only REQUIRED if you want to drive up to ridge sites. Otherwise feel free to park below and pack your gear up on foot. Less than 15 mins walk to ride sites. We have an outdoor aerial rig set up to enjoy, horseshoe pits and "lawn bowling":) We are not quite set up as a "glamping" venue so you must have and bring all your own gear. GeerCrest Farm

GeerCrest Farm was settled by the Geer family in 1848, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. The farm features creeks, forests, pastures, orchards and gardens as well as the historic buildings. Currently we have four friendly sheep and a small flock of Mallard ducks to keep us company. The Pioneer Memorial Orchard features over 50 vairieties of pre 1850 apple trees. The Heritage Grove has ten fruit and nut trees that were recognizeds as a memorial the the early pioneers of the nursery trade by Oregon Heritage Tree program. The 20 acre property, offers three tent camp sites Including the Tree House site, as well as two forest cabins and a small forest bunkhouse (sleeps 6). Our peaceful, small farm offers a reflective immersion in nature and history among the occasional quacking of ducks and baaas of sheep. The scenery from all corners of the farm is incredible - a favorite is the westward view of the valley pasture at sunset -- called "Homer's View" after famous political cartoonist and Geer descendant, Homer Davenport. No matter which camping site you choose, the sounds of the creek, pond frogs, or conversing owls are sure to lull you to sleep. Feel free to roam the farm, but always leave gates as you find them, open or closed. Please say hello to our sheep and barn cats (they may say hello first). Explore the Heritage Grove of historic trees, the Memorial apple orchard and pear glade with varieties circa 1840s, indulge your senses in our medicinal herb garden, and chat with our farm family while they water the veggie gardens, if you so wish! Your experience will certainly be unique to the season. Your host Jim Toler represents the fifth generation of the farm and will happily share stories of the farm and it's history. GeerCrest Farm is truly an off-the-beaten-path gem.

Coastal Farm Sanctuary

Since 2015 I have been steadily regenerating the soils and improving this once completely barren property. There is now diverse plant life on the property which in turns attracts diverse wildlife including insects, birds and reptile. Your stay here helps us to pay the bills and keep making this small patch of earth better. The property sits on a sunny bench just back from the ocean and just above the fog line. Our south facing location gets ample sunshine most days and is surrounded on 3 sides by a forest of trees. The property is fenced and access is by gate. There are two seperate campsites which are separated by our central garden and bamboo plantings. On most days the maximum number of workers on the farm is 2-4 people (your hosts). This is a low traffic area. There is very little street traffic before 9 AM and after 4 PM Mon-Sat. Sundays are quiet. Site 2 aka Freedom Camp is reserved exclusively for tent Both sites can use the portable toilet & outdoor shower. We keep it clean and odor free for a safe, sanitary camping experience. Bring your bikes, boards and other outdoor gear! Many adventures can be had here on the central coast. Your hosts are avid surfers and cyclists and can help direct you to the best spots to match your skill level. The property is close to town as well as road bike loops, gravel roads and mountain bike trails. We're close to the beach and that's how we like it. Within 15 - 45 minutes drive surfers of all levels can find something fun to ride nearly everyday of summer and fall. The 18 hole golf course is just down the street from the property and the town of Waldport is only 2 miles away. Yachats is a short 12 minute drive to the south where you can find amazing plant based food and they serve fresh roasted coffee along with a large menu of other drinks and treats at The Green Salmon Cafe. Beyond the adventuring that can be done on the property, Baker Beach state park is less than a half a mile away and there is a plethora of trails, parks, and lakes within 10 miles. We do have full time neighbors just to the North, so we ask that you be respectful and cautious with regard to dogs/noise. Hwy 101 can be very dangerous for unsuspecting pets. There are several roadside campfire stations(directly across 101 from camp) offering small bundles for $5-6/night. **Be advised that we are slowly working on the property to eventually create more camping space.
