Weekend Trip to Artemis Gardens BnB

This was our 2nd time staying with Lisa at her beautiful sanctuary and we have officially declared it our home away from home. She’s made breakfast for us, provided accommodations above and beyond the normal standards of hosting and aside from that, she’s an amazing person to get to know. We’ve both rented a room and also the whole cabin and had tremendous experiences both times. As we walk out of the front door, we’re already daydreaming about our next visit. The ambiance Lisa has created with her property is pure bliss and serenity. The walls, rooms, entire home is filled with beautiful art, gorgeous natural light, beautiful greenery and an overall sense of peace and tranquility. We are so grateful for Lisa and Artemis Gardens and Hipcamp is lucky to have her.

I loved tent camping here! The property is beautiful and the creek is so calming. This spot has everything you need - a fire pit, picnic table, stone bench/table, outhouse, outdoor sink (non-potable water), onsite paths and animals, and is even a 3-minute drive to a state park with great trails. Highly recommended!

Absolutely beautiful & serene. The hosts were beyond nice. We were greeted with homemade cookies for us & treats for our dogs. The outhouse was VERY nice as was the propane stove top. It was bougee camping for us! I have never slept so good camping, the creek noise was nice and soothing. Loved the farm animals & enjoyed walking the property. We will definitely be back.

This was a well kept private campsite. We loved seeing the animals at the hobby farm and really enjoyed the stream next to the sight. The pit toilet was convenient and clean. We had some trouble starting the fire because of days of rain, so the firewood was damp. The host brought us some dry kinding and we were able to run to nearby gas station to secure some dry bundles. The host also made some yummy cookies we were able to enjoy. Definitely would come again.

We had such a good time on Melissa's property!!! There was plenty of woods to explore and activities to check out near the pond. Steve introduced us to the chickens and sold us some eggs and firewood which was very helpful. The firewood ended up being a bit green so we had to run out and purchase some but that wasn't an issue at all! There are other campsites nearby and you can hear other campers but it was still very private and peaceful! We ended up befriending some neighbor campers and had a great weekend!!! Great location near some wonderful state parks and preserves as well. We loved our time here!

This was a great, kid-friendly site! If you are looking for a good place to take your kids camping, they have a catch and release pond, sand pit, and bathroom! Not much privacy and could see other campsites nearby. It worked for our needs!

Weekend Trip to GloryField Hospitality Farm

The tent and bathroom setup worked great for us! The shower is 1/2 mile from tent, right by the parking spot. We did not use it or look at it. Toilet is near tent. Super private tent and toilet set up The walk isn't bad and you can use her barn wagon to haul your things if you aren't trying to keep your stuff super clean....worked for us! The friendly host met us upon arrival and told us where to go, super communicable and available if you should need any help. The fishing pond is incredible- you will likely catch smaller large mouth bass but also a couple other types. We caught 10 fish in 2.5 hrs, fishing in the evening and around 10am. Our son had a blast. Even on a cold night, the tent on the hill was suprisingly warm, so I'd rather stay here in milder weather since I'm hot natured. Bring bug spray for ticks if you plan on walking around a lot. Stay out of tall grasses. She gave us an extra bed and bedding for the three of us to sleep comfortable and that took up the whole tent. But our large dog could fit to sleep on the floor at the front entrance with tent zipped shut. There's board games, fire pit and tons of fire wood, grill, drinking water, and water for bathroom sink. Hope this helps someone to book here! Would stay again. Enjoy!

Very clean and nice campground. Sites are a little on the small side perfect for one big tent or 2 small ones. Perfect spot for a getaway. Sites are private enough but you are still able to see and hear other campers close by. The shower and bathroom are about perfect for camping and nicer than other places we've been.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. First, the hosts are wonderful. Was greeted with a sweet treat, and treated very kindly. The spot is perfect. It’s right next to a gorgeous creek and sleeping next to it was phenomenal. It has a surprisingly nice outhouse with water and soap to wash hands. It was very nice to not have to stress about hauling in wood. We will absolutely go back! Don’t think about it, BOOK IT!!

This 5 acre property is loaded with activities! The stocked pond (catch and release) is a great place to teach your kids how to fish. You don't have to be an experienced fisherman to catch a fish in this pond! Swimming, kayaking, paddle boat, cornhole, small beach area for the little ones, and 2 acres of wooded trails for those who enjoy a peaceful walk. Wildlife is abundant and they prefer to be left alone. Please stay on the trails to preserve all vegetation. If you see a fawn or other babies, please do not touch these animals. Momma will be back! If you see one in distress, please contact the host. The community area at the gazebo offers a charcoal grill (charcoal available for purchase), seating, electric outlets, and water. Please be considerate to other guest while using this area. Trash receptacles are available at different areas on the property. Fresh eggs and produce will be available when in season. Please ask if you are interested. Campsites are located in the woods and are primitive. Sites include picnic table, fire pit, and trash can. Campers have access to a bathroom with a shower that is located in the basement of the cabin. All campers need to check-in with the on-site owners. All gear can be transported with a golf cart. Fairhaven - Cabin on the Pond can also be rented on the Airbnb website.
