1 night at Hilltop Resorts and Campgrounds

Beautiful views. Glamping tents are neat but very hot in the summer. Our tent was in full sun all day and evening. The one fan didn’t help at all. It cooled off a bit once the sun went down. Plenty of games for the kiddos. Showers were nice and clean but quite a walk from the canvas tents. The showers need a shelf for soap and such. Hosts were great.

The drive up to the cabin was a bit tricky. I was a little worried the first time up the hill in the car. But let me tell you, once we were up the hill, it was our little place of solitude for the week. The pond was my daughter’s favorite! So many frog and toad sounds at night. So fun. Fire pit and hot tub were also a huge bonus. The bed was very nice, we didn’t attempt to raise it at all; we just left it for our trip but it was the perfect little cabin for us. Esther was extremely attentive with anything I needed during our stay or any questions I had. Brent even surprised us with some fire wood one day. They were very thoughtful! We would absolutely stay again!

I needed a simple place to set up a tent and grab some shuteye in the middle of a long drive. This place was perfect. Beautiful setting. The owner was very chill and helpful. I would definitely recommend.

Loved the cabin. Had a good time exploring to trails. I picked a bad week due to the heat and the ac just couldn't keep up. It was over 95 outside each day.

3 nights at Benton's on the Baileys

A great campsite not too far from beautiful hiking trails and parks. The host was very nice. Campsite was private but not too far from amenities. Bathrooms were clean and having access to firewood onsite was a plus. I'd definitely stay here again.

Weekend Trip to Camp Cavinee

Lovely little plot, nice open field on top of a hill, with exceptionally well-kept grass. Some lovely woods to explore, and nice facilities for what it is. We were able to drive right into the field and set up our camp for a lovely night of stargazing. Marcy and Jeff were great hosts - super friendly! They even made sure the camp lights were off so we'd have extra darkness. Marcy gave us a tour of the grounds in their cart when we arrived, and my 7-year-old just wanted to talk and hang out with her for the rest of the night. Great place for the price, for sure.

Weekend Trip to EJT Retreat

Staying at Esther’s little house was absolutely perfect! The stargazing, the hot tub, the quiet, was just what we needed. Everything we needed was stocked, service was excellent!

Weekend Trip to Geneva Hills

We had a great time tent camping at Geneva Hills. It was a hot weekend (mid 90's) but our campsite, blue gill was all shade and actually quite comfortable. We booked the blue gill site in advance but when you arrive the primitive sites are first come, first serve so if you want that specific site make sure to get there on time. We spent some time on the lake kayaking and fishing. Great for paddling, not for swimming. They have kayaks/canoes there for rent but we brought our own. We also spent all day at the pool, which was about a 30sec walk from our site. The pool was fantastic, clean and very refreshing on a hot day with lots of chairs/loungers. Check in was a breeze and the staff was super kind. We will definitely be back to try out some of the other activities such as hiking and games that Geneva Hills has to offer.

Weekend Trip to Benton's on the Baileys

Keith was an incredible and friendly host and communicated thoroughly. The site was quiet, clean and serene. The bathrooms were also clean (they provide towels and washcloths!). Definitely be prepared for the steep walk up to the site unless you have Keith shuttle you up, which is fun, and he'll show up minutes after you let him know that you're ready.

2 nights at EJT Retreat

Esther’s land was beautiful and super peaceful. Hot tub and pond was great and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we need. There was a weird noise that sounded like a knock, but I inspected and nobody was there. Unsure about it but I read a couple other reviews that said the same thing. Still, it didn’t detract from the awesome time me and my wife had!! Esther was super sweet to refund us a night as well because we decided to head home early. 10/10 we will definitely stay again.

The site and location were exactly as described. The area was clean, with a raised platform for our tent. The grounds were wooded and quiet. This location was great for our daily excursions into the Hocking Hills State Park. Exactly what I was looking for for my son and I on this camping trip.

We are close to the Moonville Rails to trails for great hiking, biking and horse back riding. We also offer stalls if you would like to bring your own equine and explore the area. For those of you who want to bring your large horse trailer, you can rent my small goose neck which holds three horses to travel to your local fun destinations.

(easy access from 33 and to Logan) There are various places around the property to pitch a tent. There are also options for RV parking with no hookups as well as a site with 30/50 amp. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. If you are traveling with an RV, the Sunny Rest location is the best with campfire. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me.

We are not a true farm, hence the "Dysfunction" in our name. I don't raise animals to eat, yet (I've thought about meat chickens, but have yet to actually do it). Our animals are our pets. But we do have an abundance of eggs, and we are working on growing a larger garden this year. Learn more about this land: Set up camp at the top of our beautiful hill or down closer to the stream and horse pasture. We welcome families with pets and children.
