Perfect little affordable getaway. Used 4 wheel drive due to all the rain. Didn’t try in the Honda but not a far walk. Def be back!

We loved staying here. We wanted a secluded, quiet place but didn’t want have to be stuck outside in case of weather. This location offered trees for our hammocks and a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom inside. The hot tub was an added bonus that topped it all off. Even though it was still too cold in early May, my boys enjoyed jumping in to the pond.

Our family loved this cabin! It had all the amenities you would want and then some. Hosts were helpful and responsive. The location was quiet and beautiful. We will definitely be back next summer. This place is now one of our family favorites!

My husband and I were looking for a secluded getaway with a hut tub. This place was perfect. Totally private . The hot tub was perfect. The home was cozy. The shower was wonderful. Everything was exactly as described. Super easy check in. Wood on site. The hot tub was hot when we are arrived. We really appreciated that after a heard days work.

This was the get away we was looking for.
The hot tub was what we went for and it was perfect for those of who don't no much about hot tubs if you want the temp to go up you move it up then it takes about an hour for this change to occur and this is on all hot tubs . As I said hot tub was wondering

The cabin was perfect for us. In between hikes we would soak in the hot tub, then jump in the natural pool. I loved just hanging out in the pool and watching the frogs. During the day butterflies and at night fire flies. Thoughtfully well equipped. Truly a magical time, we will be back.

Really enjoyed my time here! The cabin was fully stocked (supplies, utensils, toiletries) and very comfortable. The fire pit and hot tub were nice for relaxing. Also very impressed with the communication from the hosts. Would definitely stay here again

The retreat was perfect. Hot tub is great, very peaceful and quiet. Loved that the firepit was right out the front door. A perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Thank you Esther for sharing your place.

I liked that it was secluded. The driveway was very tricky to get up to the cabin I assume because it had done quite a bit of raining but also already knew this ahead of time. Suv wouldn't have any problems! Hot tub was great! The pool pond was cool and different from other places. Quaint little place 😊

My fiance and I loved everything about our stay! The cabin is well stocked and clean. The hot tub and natural pool are clean and relaxing. The only thing to be cautious about is the brick wall in the pool- it can be difficult to see at times, so I’d be careful with children around. No complaints here! We will definitely be staying here again :)

We had the best time at Esther’s camp! It had everything you needed and more. We loved the pond and hot tub.
There was a problem with the hot tub before we arrived and Esther was quick to let us know and offered reimbursement. Much appreciated ☺️
The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner kept it nice and cool.
It was so quiet and peaceful sitting around the fire at night listening to the sounds of nature.
We will definitely be back if ever in Ohio again.

The drive up to the cabin was a bit tricky. I was a little worried the first time up the hill in the car. But let me tell you, once we were up the hill, it was our little place of solitude for the week.
The pond was my daughter’s favorite! So many frog and toad sounds at night. So fun.
Fire pit and hot tub were also a huge bonus.
The bed was very nice, we didn’t attempt to raise it at all; we just left it for our trip but it was the perfect little cabin for us.
Esther was extremely attentive with anything I needed during our stay or any questions I had. Brent even surprised us with some fire wood one day. They were very thoughtful! We would absolutely stay again!

We took a mother/daughter trip for our stay. We had the most amazing time! The pond for swimming is perfect with the deck to hang out and cool off during the hot day. At night we got in the hot tub and had a nice fire for s'more. The cabin was cozy and perfect for the 4 of us. They provided so many extra items like camping chairs, towels fire starters, bug spray, sunblock, and many more things. The drive way was a little crazy getting up in my mini van but with a running start it was fine. We was laughing so much about the adventure of getting up it. I would definitely want to drive my truck with 4 wheel drive in the winter to get to it.
We are planning our next trip already to go back. We will also be taking our kids there for a weekend adventure.

Loved the cabin. Had a good time exploring to trails. I picked a bad week due to the heat and the ac just couldn't keep up. It was over 95 outside each day.

Esther’s land was beautiful and super peaceful. Hot tub and pond was great and the cabin was fully stocked with everything we need. There was a weird noise that sounded like a knock, but I inspected and nobody was there. Unsure about it but I read a couple other reviews that said the same thing. Still, it didn’t detract from the awesome time me and my wife had!! Esther was super sweet to refund us a night as well because we decided to head home early.
10/10 we will definitely stay again.

The Cabin
About a 40min drive from Hocking Hills Sate Park it was quiet peaceful retreat.
The swimming pond, much more a pond than a pool but we all jumped in and had a blast. Not safe for toddlers because it has no gate.
New hot tube was clean and hot, we really enjoyed it after a long day hiking.
The cabin is still a little bit of a work in progress but had everything we needed (Except for firewood, but start driving a little and you’ll find someone selling it on the side of the road). A few bugs in the cabin but your in nature, to be expected.
Overall great price, just what we were looking for, we’d come back.

Upon arrival we walked in to a very clean cabin with nice woodworking throughout. Went adventuring the next day and we returned to a dead field mouse in the middle of the rug and stinkbugs decided to have a party while we were gone. 50+ were all over the kitchen walls windows and rafters. Now i realize we are out in nature and these things will happen but unsettling nonetheless. After playin the Orkin man i decided to jump in the warm tub to relax. I say warm tub only because the water was not hot. Temp read it was at 100 degrees but it was maybe 80 at best. So off to bed to try to sleep. Bed was ok as far as comfort. Not terrible but not super comfy either. Fast forward to about 2-3 in the morning where quite possibly some "Hills have eyes" person or people knocked on the door twice. Very quiet knocks but i wasnt getting out of bed to see who it was. Also who does that at that time of night?!!! All in all could have been so much better. I think with a little work(sealing up the cabin, fixing hot tub) and a few TLC touches it can be pretty decent. Was a nice hot tub too just didnt work properly. I would give it a 4 out of 10 just because of the issues we had but can be better with some work done to the cabin

Very nice, small and simple! Super fun even in the spring. One complaint though is that the shower drain was clogged with hair before we arrived/used it. Other than that it was nice.

My husband and I enjoyed a weekend getaway at Ester’s land. It was quiet and secluded like we wanted. Having a shower and hot tub at the end of a long day of hiking was amazing. We would stay again if in the area. Thank you again!

This is a nice clean concrete cabin. Nice firm bed, new hot tub, and a natural pool with deck. Was here during chilly weather and I plan to return during warmer weather to enjoy the pool.

We had such a great stay! The cabin and surroundings were amazing — peaceful, beautiful, and just what we needed for a getaway. The amenities were awesome (special shoutout to the outdoor fun and amenities!). Esther was super attentive, flexible and understanding, which made the whole experience even better. Honestly, we enjoyed it so much that we’re already planning our next visit! Highly recommend!

Quiet and peaceful. A minimalist dream, having a shower and a flush toilet to come back to after a long day out hiking was just the ticket for me. Also a nice soak in the hot tub was a welcome bit of luxury for my old bones. Sitting on the deck grilling my dinner listening to the spring peepers in the pond and the call of a Hawk nearby. I even woke up and got to see the blood moon and the eclipse in the middle of the night, while getting some extra time in the hot tub. Was a great couple of days and just the recharge I needed before heading back to work.
