I'm an artist and my husband and I have a small homestead with chickens and sometimes sheep/goats. Look out for electric netting to keep our herd/flock protected. The lighting over our back field is divine in the late afternoon, or if you prefer a wooded setting, we have a small wooded area across the street from our house. The area is hilly and rather private-- only one neighbor is visible when the trees are leafed out. Electric is accessible from an outlet at the backyard fence or in the barn. We often have fresh veggies and fruit in the garden in the summer, and sometimes extra farm fresh eggs. Nearby (10 minute drive) is Hargus lake, with boat rental and fishing. Also nearby is the Slate Run Historical Farm, (15 minute drive) which is a farm that is fully functioning as a farm from the 1880's with sheep, draft horses, hogs, and poultry at Slate Run Metro park, which has many woodland and wetland trails, as well as a covered bridge and several playgrounds. We are about 35 minutes from the Hocking Hills area, which is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in Ohio.

We are a private campground and wedding venue in the heart of Hocking County.
We are located 9 miles from Laurelville, 16.4 miles from Logan, 17 miles from Lancaster, 19 miles from Circleville, where stores and dinning are abundant and easily accessible.
The property is full of wildlife and magnificent views and rainbows galore, with minimal light pollution, our night sky's are spectacular. We are within a 30 minutes drive of all of Hocking Hills State Parks, Nature preserves and so much more.
Hocking Hills features beautiful towering cliffs, thrilling waterfalls, and deep, hemlock-shaded gorges. With stunning ice formations in winter, wildflowers adorning the forest floor in springtime and vivid foliage in the fall, hikers and nature lovers have plenty to enjoy in this awe-inspiring area.
Other local activities include, rock climbing, ziplining, ATV/UTV Rentals and tours, along with Canoe/Kayaking on the hocking river, horseback riding and so much more.
Southern Ohio offers some amazing roads for motorcycle rides, including the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway, The Windy 9, The Triple Nickel and Three Rivers .

RVers if you are coming in from US Rte 33 please use Buena Vista Rd. Buena Vista Rd is one exit after Oppossum Hollow if you are heading East on 33 and also one exit pass 374 if you are heading West on 33. GPS will usually route you onto Oppossum Hollow Rd or State Rte 374. The State Rte 374 route will have you turn onto Oppossum Hollow. Oppossum Hollow road is a one lane unlined rd and is not the best for RVs. Taking Buena Vista Rd will only add about a mile and a few minutes to your trip. Be advised Buena Vista is a very curvey road but is traveled by large vehicles all the time. Just take it slow and you will be fine. We have a dully truck and 45 ft rig that we bring in and out just fine.
If you are coming in from the South (Chillicothe area.) From State Rte 180, please take Jack Run Rd. This is also a paved two lane road. All other roads in the area are single lane rds and are not the best for RVs (don't use Middlefork, Long Run, Stump Run, or Clapper Hollow off of State Rte 180).

The Sculptdecor Studio, run by my partner and master sculptor Dustin Weatherby, is on the 58-acres closest to the Art Lodge located at the bottom of the driveway. Dustin specializes in animatronics, steel sculptures, wood carvings, mixed media sculptures, and offers live art performances and experience packages for guests. Feel free to stop by the studio and say hello, our home is on the same 58-acre property. Although you cannot see our home from the Art Lodge or Tiny Bungalows, we're often nearby for assistance.

The Riverside Campground has big spacious sites. Sites are primitive and include a picnic table and fire ring. There is NO electric at the Campground.
Many sites overlook the Hocking River. Swimming can be accessible on a few sites, and there are two Premium sites, more spacious (2 & 64)
Please note that our Campground is on the River. Due to excessive rain and certain times of the year, the campground may be wet and muddy. We also cannot control the level of the river or the access to the River based on current water levels.
Riverside Campground features 80 sites and conveniently located portable restrooms throughout the campground. Just steps from the Family Fun Center, guests can enjoy a variety of outdoor activities perfect for the whole family.

Visiting the Hocking Hills ? No interest in crowded campgrounds ? you have found 75 acres mostly wooded with trails. Close to and easy access from US 33 There are 4 primitive and secluded campsites around the property for tent camping. I can transport you and your gear to the remote sites. ATV's and Horses are also welcome on the property. Firewood will be provided for free and in abundant amount. The site on top of the hill is a very secluded and mowed crest of hill surrounded by dogwood trees and the invasive Autumn Olive bushes, making this the most desirable site for getting full body sun, and shade when wanted in complete privacy. The site above the rxrwinery.com is a secluded, mowed clearing in the mature woods, making this a preferred site for privacy, shade and easy access to the winery. There are also 2 sites in the valley that allow you to be near your vehicle, one out in the open sun and near the driveway while the other is in the coolest spot on the property with a very nice rock formation to admire and secluded for privacy. While on my property, clothing is optional but respect for other campers is expected. Hiking the trails naked rarely encounters other people. Sunny Rest Skyview can accomodate an RV with no hookup, generator is allowed. This is a valley and may get soft after heavy rain. Please keep wheels near the lane if there's any question to the ground conditions and maneuvering your vehicle, please contact me. Apple product GPS will not get you to this location, use the pin on Google Maps.

We really liked the hilltop campsite. We travel in a 37 foot motorhome and it was easy to navigate through their Campground. We also ran out of propane on the way into their Campground and they do fill fixed propane tanks in motorhomes so that was a nice addition we didn’t have to go search for that somewhere else. We stayed there for three nights. It’s quiet and they have activities for kids and adults. They have some nice trails that lead down to the lake . The surrounding area had lots to do.

This adventure we went on landed us at the Pine Creek. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The bathrooms and shower house was exceptionally well kept. The atmosphere was fantastic. Last but not least its about 15 minutes from all the caves and paths that you would want to be there for.

The land was beautiful! There was plenty of room on the campsite and it came with a picnic table and fire with a grill. The bathroom was right next to the site, a few seconds walk. The shower was close by as well, also walking distance. Everything was clean and well taken care of and sites are very spread out. We felt very welcome and taken care of. We would absolutely stay here again.

We really enjoyed this site! We loved being able to hang in the outdoor beer garden and have pizza instead of worrying about cooking dinner. Our kids played on the play set and we could relax. Those workering at the market and restaurant were incredibly friendly and helpful.
The site itself was easy to find. The grass was quite long but it didn’t bother us too much.
We will definitely be back! We said we’d pick site 3 next time due to more shade than the others :)

We had a great experience at Hocking Hills Family Fun Center! The kids had an absolute blast and stayed entertained the entire time. We also stayed in one of the cabins for two nights while traveling home, and it was a fun and comfortable place to relax and recharge.
The bathrooms were clean, the showers had plenty of hot water, and the entire property was well maintained. What really stood out was the staff, they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.
If you’re traveling with family and looking for a place where the kids can have fun while the adults can relax, this is definitely worth a visit. We made some great memories and would gladly stop again!

Great stay. Got the adventure we hoped we would. Kids loved all the animals, especially when the one goat jumped on the table and tried to eat a pancake right off the griddle. That was a new experience 😀.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was incredibly accommodating from start to finish, making us feel welcome and ensuring we had everything we needed. Communication was prompt and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. The campsite was exactly as described, and it was clear that a lot of care has gone into creating a great space for guests. We truly appreciated the host’s flexibility and hospitality. We’d gladly stay again and highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free camping experience.

Had a great time camping here! Jim showed up to greet me when I arrived and led me back to the site, which is tucked away in the woods at the back of the property. It faces a beautiful rock formation and has plenty of shade, it stayed nice and cool despite hitting the mid 80s in the afternoon! Felt very secluded and private, nothing but the sound of the the birds and other wildlife (there is some road noise, but it really isnt too bad at all)
Jim was very kind and responded quickly to any questions I had. Already planning a return trip to check out the winery next time!

I loved tent camping at Nature's Way. The land was beautiful and relaxing. I took full advantage of the clothing optional policy and was nude the entire time I was there. Jim is very nice and even showed me around. I stayed at Sunny Rest Skyview, which is right in the front. Many people saw me nude, but had no problems with that. I completely enjoyed my time at Nature's Way and will be returning in the future.
