The last stretch is rough and narrow in spots, so you’ll want to be comfortable on mountain dirt roads and ideally have 4WD with some clearance. When you arrive, a roundabout dirt driveway opens into a private clearing with a 20' x 20' flat pad—perfect for tent camping or a small overland setup. The land was recently cleared, so it still has a raw, backcountry feel: expect stumps, roots, and uneven ground around the main flat pad, not a manicured campground. It’s quiet, heavily wooded, and feels like your own little slice of the Sauratown Mountains. The real magic is the access: it’s roughly a 200-yard walk through the woods to reach Moore’s Knob Trail, and you’re less than a mile from the base of Moore’s Wall, with all of Hanging Rock’s views, rock outcrops, and classic hiking right at hand. Lois and Mike's spot was just as described!!!! The view is gorgeous! We couldn't believe how big the spot was, and we had it all to ourselves! 2 nights at The Rocky Knoll

The Rocky Knoll is a beautiful little spot with an amazing view! Easy to access with additional seating provided, a lovely fire pit, and a well leveled tent pad. My dogs and I had a great time and the hosts were amazing! My battery ended up dying in my car the second night and they quickly helped me resolve the issue. I can’t wait to go back when it gets warm again. Thank you both so much!

Excellent site! The view is very nice, it's laid out well. They have a lot of accommodations there that were nice to see for people that come less-prepared. the view is very nice and it is a nice cozy place! The "poop shed" is also, really nice. It's not just a port-a-john, they put proper care and attention into making it enjoyable to use! Will almost certainly be booking again in the future!

My husband and i visited Oasis at Harmon Creek Farm from November 7-11th and had the best time doing nothing but relaxing by a fire most of the time. We needed LOTS of firewood not only because we like a campfire but the nights were pretty chilly. The whole farm is just beautiful, I loved waking up early and visiting the cows and donkeys in the pasture across from our site. The creek is just peaceful to look at and to listen to and watching the colorful leaves falling from the trees was mesmerizing. Cheryl and her family were so kind and accommodating and anytime we needed wood, they were always willing to get it to us. The entire family was welcoming and enjoyable to talk to. This place truly is a gem and we will be going back as soon as it warms up a little.

Weekend Trip to Vintage Camper @ Hanging Rock

Very cute vintage camper in prime location to Hanging Rock and Pilot Mtn. It was perfect for my first solo camping trip and had all the necessities for ease rather than tent camping, plus extra sweet gifts from Bridgette including fresh eggs from her chickens. Will absolutely be back for another quiet nature getaway!

We had a wonderful time camping at The Oasis at Harmon Creek Farm! We were originally booked at Creek Front 4, but Cheryl kindly offered us the chance to move to Creek Front 5, which turned out to be perfect. She was very responsive and answered all our questions quickly, making sure we had a great experience from start to finish. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and well-maintained — the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. We’re already planning our next visit and inviting a few friends to join us. Highly recommend this lovely place!

1 night at The Oasis at Harmon Creek Farms

Dope people. Quiet but nice and pleasant. No qualms with me staying multiple nights back to back and reserving every night individually. Good tips about farming when I asked and they sold me some nice homemade apple jam from a local neighbor. They have a whole fridge full of homemade meat from their farm! All in all nice. Also the farm is beautiful and the camp spot was truly very nice. Multiple places to put a tent. Super boxed in by trees which helped with cold weather. Camp fire pit. Chairs and a table. Big bad ass pond right there with a love seat. All in all a good stay. Thanks guys!

Very private and peaceful. Deerfield spot is huge and pretty level. Compact toilet was not located so plan on bringing your own potty. Still would 100% recommend and would stay again.

I would recommend this campground over and over again! Not only was the site absolutely gorgeous, but the cleanliness of the entire location was truly impressive. Laura and Steve went above and beyond to ensure a safe and beautiful space to retreat. This was my birthday camping trip with my wife, best friend, and fur baby. After the success of our adventure, we plan to make this trip annually.
