What a great set-up! Super private, shady, relaxing and every kitchen cooking implement you could desire.
Loved the hammocks and fairy lights at night.
Things to know: we had a little trouble with the solar and with the shower. I should have just texted the host. He was super responsive. The privvy, though clean, may not be on the glam side of glamping.

Excellent location for all things Uwharrie. So nice to sleep in a bed while camping instead of an air mattress! A previous review mentioned hanging something to block the road, but we found the site to be totally isolated - we saw one car drive by the dirt road all week.

I brought my friend for his first glamping experience to Basecamp_outdoors and it couldn’t have been better!
There is every amenity here to make you feel at home. A full kitchen, hot shower, clean beautiful spacious tent with no bugs, a comfortable bed, a covered kitchen, an out house, a porch and a covered eating area. Plus lighting and heating and cooling.
Everything is an easy unload from where you park your cars.
Plus, there is an additional area down the path where there is a fire platform. Because it was hot, we skipped the fire and used it more as an extra patio and outdoor room.
We spent a lot of time there immersed in the beauty of the forest and sky and listening to the birds and music.
The main site is located nearer to the road and we hung a couple of tapestries in the lower eating area for a little extra privacy.
The host was very thorough in giving us directions and sending a video to show us how to turn on and use everything.
He also checked on us via text through the app to make sure we had everything we needed.
It was easily accessible and there is plenty to do in the area as far as hiking and water features.
If you’re considering this place, you should book it, I can’t imagine being able to find one better!

Everyone had a great time on this getaway worthy adventure. Lots of amenities, comfortable accommodations, and the zip line was a crowd-favorite. Would visit again!

Absolutely loved camping on Jasons land! It was just like staying in a treehouse with everything you could possibly need. The land was beautiful & so peaceful, and for being in the woods …very clean! Me & my husband stayed the night for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. We cannot wait to book again and bring our kids !

This was the perfect getaway for a spring break adventure with the kids. This site is so close to so many cool adventures, we couldn't do them all! We spent time in Asheboro Zoo, and Uwharrie National Forest, and we can't wait to come back this summer to do more! So much thought was put into every single detail, we were more than comfortable - I've never had such a relaxing camping trip, because everything was so well planned and thought out. Cooking over the fire, or in the outdoor kitchen was fun and delicious. I wish I had brought steaks and hamburgers, in addition to the normal camping food of hot dogs and smores! The kids enjoyed the zipline, and the hanging chairs for solitude, and the adults enjoyed watching it all from the porch. Jason was incredibly helpful with ideas for activities to do around the area, and now we can't wait to come back!

Base camp was such a great glamping experience! Truly has everything you could think of. The shower gets HOT! The games are so fun. (We even purchased two of them to be waiting for us when we got home). The kitchen set up was perfect, and even though we are not pizza oven connoisseurs we gave it a go, and I have to say it didn’t turn out half bad. We do have a new love-hate relationship with Buddy heaters but with a few years of therapy I think we will get through it. LOL. Jason was an amazing host! I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to get away but still “camp”.
