Bentley's Bunk
Our family had a very nice one night stay at Tips & Tails - Bentley's Bunk. The stay exceeded our expectations - innovative structure with large, elevated yurt on top and functional gathering/eating area below. Nice amenities (firewood, coffee maker with pods, two water bottles, tv with game boy, solar supplied 120v power, etc.).
Two watch outs: 1) the directions on Hipcamp take you to the wrong location but owner will text you correct ones. 2) The walk from parking area to campsite is about 200yds, so you will have to carry your gear a ways.

The place was well maintained and was very comfortable. Bring a wagon, but getting gear from car to tent is worth the short, semi-hilly hike down the trail. Jeremy was a fantastic host and was great with communication. Our dog also really loved it there! Very relaxing and peaceful, although we could hear fireworks both nights from the race track. Our dog doesn't care or react to the sound of fireworks, but some may so wanted to add that.

Bentley's Bunk
It was alright, was way dirtier than the pictures showed. Had a cockroach fall on me while I was trying to sleep. It's covered in cob webs, a wasp nest, and an abandoned birds nest (not as bad as all the spiders). Everytime I opened the bathroom door there was multiple new spiders. The propane was left on when we got there. Never actually met Jeremy. The "lit trail" was just the walk to the actual site you aren't actually allowed to go anywhere apart from your site. The solar panels are blocked mostly by the trees and isn't even on the side the sun shines. The electricity could barely BARELY charge my phone and run the fan without beeping every 5 minutes. There were many cockroachs and LOTSSSS of spiders. A hole in the roof of the tent is patch with just a piece of paper towel shoved in it. Ours phones couldn't really charge because somehow our charging ports were wet even tho they were in the tent or dry in our pocket the whole time. On here it says "On site parking" when in reality you have to park at the doggy daycare right across from the campground. The rain cover is also green now instead of white, Ruby's Playhouse was still white. Overall it was an alright stay but wouldn't come back for Bentlys Bunk at least. Ruby's Playhouse looked WAYYYYY cleaner.

Our weekend stay on this wonderfully cared for property was just what the Dr ordered to give us perfect peace, sanguine solitude, and magical moments. The site held every comfort we found have asked for and more and Jeremy was an incredibly kind, responsive and professional host. We will definitely be back!

We loved Bentleys Bunk on Jeremy’s land! The fall leaves were beautiful, the campfire was peaceful, and my dogs loved exploring! There was another site nearby, but it was still secluded and private. The directions to get there were clear and Jeremy was kind and checked in on us. He even helped us with the heater. Would recommend for a quiet getaway.

This is the most “glampy” experience i have had camping and we had an amazing time. The outdoor shower was an amenity we truly appreciated, the tent was spacious bed comfy would go again.

Bentley's Bunk
This is the second time me and my best friend have stayed there now we have fallen in love with the place. It is so beautiful very quiet and the host. Jeremy is amazing. This will definitely be a place we visit four years to come.

We really enjoyed this yurt experience! There was a nice fire pit area, deck area, and then the yurt with a comfy bed. We were only there for one night and definitely could have enjoyed it for a few more! The host was also communicative and friendly along the way. Would recommend!

The yurt we rented had what looked like mold everywhere, it smelled STRONGLY of dogs, our lantern didn't work and the camping toilet had no water in it, we had a quarter roll of tp, no wipes and no bags for disposal. When we arrived the inside of the yurt was very damp and only got wetter during the rain. It's definitely not waterproof, so keep this in mind when booking, as all of our belongings that were near an edge were soaked. The host was generally pleasant when he called to let us know that the site wasn't ready, since we had booked last minute. He did have it ready when we arrived, and was also nice enough to let us know that a storm was rolling in and that they suggest waiting it out in the car, if it gets too bad. Seems like a really nice person, so I hate to leave a review like this...The larger campsite next to us looked much nicer from what I could see, but the inside of this one looked nothing like the pictures that are posted. The view outside is why i gave the stars that I did give.Also, good luck finding Mario Kart on that gaming system.

Fun first glamping experience! Jeremy was very helpful and quick with his responses to our questions. The site had many amenities to keep us entertained and was beautifuly set up. My favorite part was watching the sun rise over the wildflower field. I did have one health concern, there is an abundant amount of black mold on the yurt that I had to be weary of when inside but that can easily be fixed.

Great place. Semi-private and quiet. Jeremy was awesome...especially when I accidentally showed up early with my kiddos. It had everything we wanted for a nice relaxing long weekend. Would definitely go again and recommend to anyone who likes to glamp!

What a great experience! Both my girlfriend and myself enjoyed the privacy, peacefulness, and relaxation that embodies this wooded wonderland. The path lights were beautiful at night and everything at the camp site was well built and thought out. Jeremy is a gracious host and we can't wait to return.

The glamping set up was very well done. The bed was comfy. The tent was clean and cozy. It liked how elevated it was off the ground. Very convenient to have your own camp toilet - also clean. We had a great fire in the fire pit - loved the solar string lights, beautiful sunset sky and stars.

Jeremy’s place was absolutely perfect to stay at for our trip to the renaissance festival. They had strung lights along the walkways that came on at night making the forest a twinkly wonderland. The tent was warm and cozy at night.

Absolutely amazing if you are looking for a small town getaway and enjoy being apart of nature, all being 45 minutes from Charlotte! Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the company of others. Had a lovely stay and Jeremy was very responsive and attentive. Would love to come back!
