Buffalo Creek Vacations was started after our father, Harold, retired from NY as a UPS driver. He wanted to go somewhere & experience all 4 season! This immaculate small cabin near Asheville is ready to treat you to a luxurious retreat experience. We are located only 15 minutes from Asheville and a few miles from the parkway, surrounded by 14 acres of forest. There is a private hot tub that is all yours! Sauna available upon request. Professional massage therapist onsite as well. The house is hand crafted with unique creative touches for your delight. We look forward to having you! This home was built in 2019 by an expert craftsman with the vision of making it cozy and spacious with sweet artistic details and lots of care and love. The home is 300 sq feet but feels much more grand inside. You will be nestled on 14 pristine acres of forest, with two decks, your own personal private hot tub, and a spring fed creek not too far down the driveway. There is a gas fireplace outdoors on the porch, and an outdoor fire pit for your use as well. The house has a queen size bed in the upper loft, a large twin day bed on the first level, and an extra loft with camping mats if needed above the day bed. The house can comfortably sleep 3 and up to 4 or 5 especially if a couple of them are children or petite people. The house has a full kitchen and bathroom, living room area and two lofts. For now there is a composting toilet that is easy to maintain and we are happy to help you with it if you’re on the land for more than a few days. The main house is about 30 yards up the hill, and although somewhat close, you will have plenty of privacy. We are close if you need us, but we try to give all of our guests ultimate privacy. The house is under a huge magnolia tree, so it stays shaded in the summer and quite cool. There is an AC unit and heaters in the house as well. There is a personal hot tub, which is screened in, and located on the front deck of the house now. You will love it! There is a back deck that is only for meditation, yoga, and bird watching, and we ask that folks stay silent on the back deck if they use it. Pets are welcome at an extra charge of $40 a night. If anything is needed down at the house we are available. Much of the time there is a massage therapist on site, so if you are interested in getting Bodywork please just inquire about prices and availability. There is also a wood-fired sauna on the property, so if you would like to sauna please let us know. And an added bonus is that you are only 5 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and LOTS of great hiking, great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, art galleries and more. Asheville is 15 minutes from the tiny cabin and Weaverville is 10 minutes away. On any given day you might see a family a deer, turkeys or bears in the front yard. There is a spring fed creek on the edge of the property you are welcome to soak your feet in, and there is incredible hiking just a few miles away. You are welcome to explore the 13 acres of property as well that the home is located on. This is not a place for parties. Our neighbors are about 200 yards down the hill so we try to respect their privacy and keep it quiet. That is why we have made the back deck a retreat/silent deck. Maximum of 4 guests.

Great find! Cozy camper tucked in a quiet Cove less than three miles from the heart of Asheville. This bright and sunny vintage camper has been totally redone. It's clean, neat, and well-appointed. Enjoy a private outdoor shower in the bamboo grove, lounge on the outdoor couch, or grill out on the deck. In the evening, listen to the calls of nature around the fire and then cozy into the luxurious, full size, queen bed. We loved the tiny cabin! My partner and I didn’t feel cramped, it feels much bigger on the inside. Perfect location - it was quiet, scenic, and convenient to get to. Great amenities as well - we loved getting to use the fire pit and hot tub, especially after a long day of hiking. Highly recommended!

Tim was an excellent host, kept us well stocked with firewood and the airstream had everything in it we needed. Beautiful spot for campfires and starlight. This is the perfect spot to stay for visiting the smokes, pigeon forge, Gatlinburg, etc. We were within an hour drive of everything we wanted to do. We even extended our stay by another day. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Moonshine Ridge Campground

This place was perfect. 4 of us fit perfect and had plenty of room around our RV for games and our belongings. Tim was great and responsive. He stopped by a few times to make sure we knew what was available for us on the property and to make sure we were all set. He was very accommodating to our check in and check out process. He even allowed us to take our time leaving because no one was staying after us. We ended up leaving on time but it was very kind he gave us this option. RV was in great condition and was perfect for us. Water spigots in multiple spots and plenty of firewood pre cut for us to use all weekend. Would definitely stay again and will be recommending to anyone we know.

7 nights at Pink Fox Cove Cabin

What a wonderful place to stay! I'm a middle-aged woman with joint pain, and initially I was nervous that the crawl to the bed in the loft would be too much for me, but I figured out how to shuffle along, and by the time I left I was so sad to be going and didn't even feel bothered by the tight maneuvering. I stayed for a week while in town for a work thing. I primarily was there later at night and it was so special. The whole space is so thoughtfully done, the lighting just builds the mood, and there are so many wonderful touches. I used the gas fire pit outside a lot more than I expected, and I loved sitting in the hot tub listening to all of the sounds of nature. I absolutely hope to come back in the future! I didn't get to try the sauna, which hopefully I will be able to do in the future. And Kellie was very helpful throughout the stay with any of the needs I had.

Weekend Trip to Moonshine Ridge Campground

Cool spot that was close to so many things! The camper had everything we needed and was a cozy spot to rest for the weekend. It did smell a bit dingy/musty, but I think that's what you get when staying in an old camper :) It didn't negatively effect our stay and we would definitely stay here again. We enjoyed having the ability to sit by the fire and not stress about gathering/chopping wood. We were able to light the fire, sit back, and enjoy. There is a coffee/book shop within walking distance of the camper that sells amazing coffee and has a huge variety of books/gift items! If you go, ask the owner about the nightmares and nausea t-shirts lol

We enjoyed our stay at Kellie’s place. It is in a quiet location and the house is such a cute little gem. It had everything we needed for a quick weekend trip. The hot tub was great to use and is in a private setting which fit perfectly with the whole ambience. There is a sauna on site for a fee which we didn’t get to use it unfortunately, due to our time limitations, I hope to be back and step up that relaxation game a bit. Kellie is very kind and it is true when she tells you to look out for her little doggies, they will run up to the car. They are extremely sweet and friendly and we enjoyed their enthusiasm.

Tim is a incredible host who was super flexible, we stayed with 5 pups and he had everything set up for us when we arrived much later than expected, and he did not hesitate to offer us a late checkout, and when we fell in love the home feeling we even decided to stay a extra night! Although it was to hot there was more than enough Firewood supplied. Can't wait to see all his plans come to fruition can't wait to visit again. (Great only 15 minutes to the heart of gatlinburg and 30 from pigeon forge)

Really fun place to stay. Me, my partner, and little dog had a wonderful time staying in this camper. Had everything we needed and very close to anything else one may want/need. Very comfy bed. Amazing outdoor shower. The patio and fire pit areas are also incredible to be in at the beginning and end of each day. Super relaxing. Will certainly be back.

We had a great stay at Dragonfly!! The camper was absolutely adorable and as described! It was immaculate, well stocked, and everything worked perfectly! The beds were comfortable and the heat worked well and kept us nice and toasty! Whether you want to cook on a stove or a nice grill, this place gives you both options! The location was perfect...close to all the wonderful things that Asheville has to offer, yet when we were at Dragonfly, it felt like we were truly camping! The stars were exceptionally brilliant at night and the outdoor seating area was comfortable and cozy! We used the camper as a base camp and hiked some incredible trails, including Max Patch on the Appalachian Trail! If you have time to make the hour drive, this is a must see for all hikers! Han (the owner) was responsive to our needs and accomodated my Siberian Huskies. I truly cannot say enough good things about this location...we absolutely loved it and will definitely be returning for future visits!

We loved staying at Roamstead. We stayed in a yurt which was fantastic. It was warm and cozy (low in the 20's at night), and perfectly decorated. The bed had an amazingly comfortable mattress. Ample outlets for charging phones, coffee pot, etc. There were easy well lit paths to bathhouse and lodge. The staff was amazing! They're fabulous baristas as well. We truly felt at home away from home. We certainly hope our travels lead us back in the future. We have absolutely no complaints.
