It is a humble beginning with less than half an acre of newly excavated steep mountain terrain but it is easily accessible from Foothills Parkway near Townsend and Maryville, Tennessee. The main attraction is relaxing and having fun at the community manmade lakes such as the 50 acre Lake in the Sky. The private Top of the World Community Recreation Area has a beach with Adirondack chairs, boat ramp, horseshoe poles, and a basketball court. On school days during the week, you may be the only one(s) there! The campsite itself is a mere gravel parking area at the foot of our steep property next to a road. We have a tiny 4ft x 7ft teardrop trailer with air conditioning in the gravel parking area. It has been an ongoing labor of love to transform it into a small, unique RV and tent camping park along beautiful Conleys Creek. We only offer 4 tent spots (first come, first served), as well as 4 RV spots. We rent out our 38' RV separately. We have torn down and repurposed some of the manufactured homes on the property. We continue to create numerous gardens with veggies and herbs. We have also planted numerous fruit and flowering trees, bushes and flowers for bold color throughout the year. Our property is completely pesticide free. We currently have 11 free range chickens, known as The Dixie Chicks! Guests enjoy feeding, petting and collecting their eggs, which are delicious! We offer both RV and tent camping on both sides of Conleys Creek. Each site has a grill and fire pit. Fish or cool off in our creek, which is regularly stocked with trout. As a convenience to our guests, we sell eggs, firewood and ice. Enjoy the game room playing billiards or shooting darts. Enjoy the nice weather and play one of our numerous outdoor yard games. We have a very clean, private guest bath house, excellent WI-FI and a dump station. Hike up our mountain range to locate our second creek. My brother and I built it from the ground up and did our best to replicate a 100+ year old mountain cabin. We do hope you enjoy the peace and quiet you'll get when staying at Keira's Kabin.Learn more about this land:If you want to get away from the hussle and bussle of today's busy schedule, this is the place. Surrounded by woods, nature and lots of wildlife. Keira's Kabin sits down in a very quiet area on the property along side a spring fed creek. It's very easy to get to and can accomodate up to 4 people. The bunk bed allows 1 person to sleep up top and 2 people to sleep on the bottom. There's also a lounge chair that folds out that another person can sleep on. All the bedding is available at the cabin, but if you want to bring your sleeping bags, you are more than welcome to. There are some eating utensils available as well as a variety of cooking tools (frying pan, tongs, spachulas, etc). You can choose to use the campfire to cook or you can use the propane camp stove if you choose. We also have a hot dog and hamburger holder, popcorn maker, marshmellow spears and sandwich makers that are used for cooking over the campfire. There is great cell service at the cabin but no wifi. Other area services include, Kengo gas station near the entrance of the property and within 7-10 minutes you can be in town to get anything you need. Enjoy a home cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen or cook it outdoors on the propane grill. The open loft has a king size bed and the downstairs bedroom has a queen size. Both bathrooms have a shower/tub, one bathroom is in the loft and the other is downstairs. There are Roku TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. Kayak an inflatable stand up paddle board available for guest use. Finger lake is just down the street and as easily accessible for kayaking and paddle boarding. River Tubing down Deep Creek is fun for all ages, tube rentals and shuttles can be found at Deep Creek. There is truly so much to explore! Guest access This is a private residence with no one onsite other than your group. You will have access the the entire home and outdoor space. There is a locked supply closet in the loft. Other things to note - The cabin is heated by electric baseboards as well as a propane wall unit in the living area - The A/C unit in the loft window cools the loft as well as the living area and there is a second unit in the downstairs bedroom, as well as ceiling fans in all the rooms. - No indoor fires - Please note this is a remote location and while wifi access is available it cannot always be guaranteed.
