Kim was a great host! She made sure we had all the necessary information for make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Loved the secluded Mountain View campsite and will definitely stay again next time we’re in the area!

Kim was a charming hostess. She kept great communication throughout and showed us where everything was when we arrived. She was kind enough to gift us some fresh farm eggs! We hope to stay again for a longer period of time. The animals were wonderful and we absolutely loved our time with Shooter, the sweet guard dog who kept us company.

Had an absolutely amazing time staying at Sadie’s Place on the farm. Kim was more than welcoming and the farm itself was wonderful. Beautiful setting with all the farm animals and you’ll make good friends with the dogs there! I highly recommend a stay and look forward to staying again!

Absolutely loved my stay at Kim’s cabin home. Everything was clean and we appreciate the small presents when we arrived. Isn’t too far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon forge. Would definitely book another stay here!!

We loved our time at Sadie's Place. It was super cozy and had all the basic stuff you might need. Kim was lovely and very welcoming. It's about a 30-40 minute drive to near by trail heads and the tourist towns. There is also a gorgeous national park road(Foothills Parkway) about 10 minutes away with multiple parking pull offs to see the views. Its a great spot if you want to catch the sunset or sunrise over the mountain range without having to hike!

We stayed at Kim’s cabin and it was exactly as described. Her place is very clean and cozy. Gas fireplace is not only great ambience, but it made the cabin toasty warm. She had fresh eggs for us, plenty of clean towels and extra blankets to curl up in. Basic spices in the cabinets so bring your own if you need something for a recipe. The cabin is very easy to find and she had lights on when we arrived so it was very welcoming. The big grocery store is about 25 minutes away but there is a market at the end of the road for basics. The roads are all passable since Hurricane Helene 2024 and there are plenty of places to get gas. We would absolutely stay here again.

Sadie's Place was perfecr for us. Host introduced herself and was very informative. Cabin/house was very clean and the decor perfectly matched the cabin feel. It gives you and excellent home feeling vibe. There is 2 amazing dogs that roam the yard and love to visit. The dogs also patrol the farm throughout the night so there is no worries of unwanted nature visiting why you relax by the fire and enjoy breathtaking views of the stars. During the day you can enjoy the chickens wandering around and the goats sunbathing. This place was close enough to get to Gatlinburg but far enough away to provide peace afterwards. Will 100% visit again and would recommend to anyone with kids wanting a true country feel!

Kim is such a thoughtful host. Pre-laid firewood and kindling in our fire pit for a quick and easy first night fire and gave us a dozen fresh eggs from her farm hens. Goats, chickens, pigs, and super sweet dogs and a great mountain view. A charming place to camp convenient to GSMNP, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Charming little farm. Camped at Creekside site. Rainy (thanks to Hurricane Helene) but did not dampen our fun. Goats, chickens, friendly owner’s dogs who visited our site from time to time to make sure we were ok.

Kim was AMAZING! Her cabin was immaculate, and her property is absolutely stunning. She was very responsive and inviting; I felt like I was staying with family. I cannot recommend her land enough! She even gave us a dozen eggs from her chickens, along with some fire wood! We will definitely be back!

Kim was nothing shy of an incredible host with an incredible piece of property. Between the views, the location, the assortment of animals to interact with, I find it hard to believe there will be a better spot to go. 12/10 will be coming back.

The home has a small farm with chickens, ducks, goats, bunny rabbits (seasonal I think) and many more things including a pond (may be off limits for certain age groups.) Children enjoy the farm animals.
The owner makes sure the home is thoroughly cleaned using professional home cleaning personnel and herself as well.
1st Review on this rental. I will tell you, this is the very best of the best vacation rentals in the Gatlinburg area. You are spending so much more money on cabin and hotel rentals which you could be truly spending on your vacation by renting from owner. 18 miles from Gatlinburg and not much more to Pigeon Forge. The scenic drives you take from the rental home immediately shows you a fresh running stream, trees, and nature.
The owner rented her home to my daughter and her husband and 2 children. The owner and my wife and myself have been very close friends for 8 years now. We live 2 miles from owner. My wife suffered major brain strokes almost 2 weeks ago. Daughter and family drove up from LA. My wife passed away Saturday and without the kind and loving support from the owner, we would have had to make other arrangements. Save money and rent with the owner. The owner greets all renters. She does the right things according to God. She has in depth knowledge of the entire area including attractions. You will never forget meeting and learning things from her.

Camping was excellent at Skip A Stone farm. Host was great and patient with my kids. She has goats, pigs, chickens as well as other critters the kids loved. I highly recommend camping at Skip A Stone farm with its close proximity to Gatlinburg and many other locations as well as the beautiful views right at the farm.

My family of 8 LOVED camping at Kim's Farm. Kim was great with our 6 kids she let them help with feeding the animals and gave them a tour. The space was plenty big enough for our 2 big tents, they had firewood there for us to use. The view was great!! It was out of the tourist crowds but still close enough to get to that area in a descent amount of time. The outhouse was kinda dark for the kiddos but we took a little light to leave in there for night potty trips! Shooter (the dog) was the camp protector and my family loved him being at the site, however there was a gate to shut if you didnt want him in but we didnt mind at all. He did bark a little at the wild animals at night but it didnt bother my crew or keep them awake. Kim was very helpful and made us feel very comfortable being there. If we ever go back that way we will def stay again!! Thanks Kim!!!!

Our campsite was a nice getaway from the busy campgrounds you will normally find. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and getting to know Kim and her farm animals. Our boys especiallly loved the goats and her dogs. Kim was amazing and so very kind, she helped us with local recommendations and was available when we needed her.
Make sure to pack some bug spray, when we stayed the little black flies (no seeums) were out. If you are a light sleeper you may wan to pack some earplugs or a sound machine as the dogs will sometimes bark overnight at the wild animals and surrounding dogs and the roosters are known to crow early in the morning.

Loved tent camping at the Farm! Kim was super nice, she has all kinds of animals, great view of the mountains, a porta potty, a creek where I had the best bath of my life, and running water from a hose. The site had a fence around it, there were also chairs to sit in, a wooden table, and a firepit. She let me steal some blackberries off the vine for breakfast! Can't get much closer to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, the biggest unspoiled wilderness East of the Mississippi, and you are away from the tourist craziness of Gatlinburg. Easy access to some of the best hiking on the East Coast!!

Kim’s farm was the perfect place for a family break in a beautiful location. Our youngest is a toddler so the campsite having an unobtrusive fence completely surrounding it was a huge help. The campsite is huge, we had three tents and could have easily fit more and still had plenty of room. We loved the big fire ring, playing in the creek and getting to know all of the farm animals. Her dog Shooter was so gentle with our toddler, a perfect nanny dog. The whole place was alight with fireflies at dusk and we could hear owls calling at night. The view from the campsite is beautiful and being on an elevated site, we had a nice breeze. We can’t wait to come back again.

Skip A Stone Farm will go down as one of my favorite places to camp. The view of the mountains, over the field of flowers and horses, was just breathtaking! Great property! Awesome animals! Kim was a kind, patient and gracious host.
