Campsite #1 was originally created for our personal use. Campsite #2, so our fellow camping buddies could join us. Although a short drive from our homes, the serenity of the property always makes us feel as if we’ve travelled many miles. Campsites are laid out in an ‘L’ shape which creates the perfect group camping experience. Guests can choose to camp alone or invite others. Campsite 1 and 2 are reserved together as one booking due to the close proximity of the sites. The property is secluded, but easily accessible. Campsites are full hookups which include water, sewer and 50 amp electric. Both sites can accommodate any size RV. They are gravel and level which makes getting set up easy. A 30 x 30 shelter with concrete floor, lights, picnic tables and trash bin is nearby, which is a great asset in any weather. A fire pit and chairs are a nice addition for evening enjoyment. Firewood is provided. WiFi is available. The area is pet friendly. Pets can be off leash, however, you might consider leashing your pet, as wildlife is frequently seen. If your furry friend is anything like our dogs, the chase is on when a deer, squirrel or turkey makes a sudden appearance! During your stay, take a 7/10 mile walk down to the New River. Pull up one of the chairs on the small covered deck overlooking the river, sit back and take in the sounds of the calming waters. Watch floaters, kayakers and canoe navigators pass by or enjoy your own floating, fishing and swimming. On the other side of the river is part of the New River State Park. A 15 minute drive will take you to downtown West Jefferson for restaurants and shopping. Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). Eden Oaks is 18 miles from W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir, 24 miles from Stone Mt. State Park, and 10 miles from Elkin (sponsors of the Wine Festival and Pumpkin Festival). Eden Oaks is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs (American Viticultural Area). We're next door (3 miles) to Raffaldini and Piccione Vineyards. Take a day trip to Boone, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Airy, Winston-Salem, Charlotte or additional areas of interest. We love it here and would like to share it with you. Each site is expansive, with large areas to spread out and enjoy the views or play yard games. Unlike typical RV parks our sites are spread out on the ridge top and offer great views and lots of space. Our campground offers a unique camping experience for the RV and outdoors enthusiast. All of our RV sites feature views of the surrounding peaks and have full hook ups with, water, septic and 30 or 50 amp power access, high speed wi-fi access at each site as well as a picnic table and in ground fire pits. Wiseman Ridge provides the peace and quiet of nature at its finest, with easy direct access to the Blue Ridge Parkway by foot or by road. We are just a mile down the parkway from the entrance to the Linville Falls parking lot and picnic area, and 2 miles from Kistler Memorial Highway (Old NC 105) that provides access to the western rim of Linville Gorge and multiple trailheads. Beautiful views and very very well kept property. Full RV hookups right at the level site. Very private and quiet camping with a beautiful river and a gazebo about 100yds from site. Not visible from site but easy access. Met the host George who is very helpful and friendly. A couple short walking paths available on the property. We rode our golf cart about a mile or so to an awesome waterfall. Plenty of hiking trails there. Highly recommend this property! Thanks for sharing George and Whitney

We really enjoyed our stay at Liberty Acres Campground & RV Park in our motorhome! We had a level gravel site with full hookups near the end of the llama field, and we absolutely loved sitting at our campsite and enjoying the views of the animals. The campground Wi-Fi worked very well and was especially appreciated since we had little to no Verizon service at our site. The setting was peaceful, unique, and definitely different from your typical campground. How often do you get to camp next to llamas and enjoy views of zoo animals from your motorhome? We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Liberty Acres to other RVers looking for a quiet and unique camping experience

Had a relaxing stay on a private, very shady spot (T16) tucked away from the main loop. Large area for tent and space to hang out. Enjoyed walking around the campground and had a nice hike through the outback of the property. Owners were friendly and helpful Will certainly go back. Very short drive to Elk Knob!

I enjoyed my stay! It’s a very peaceful, private and quiet spot. No road noise, trains, dogs or anything! Just the sounds of nature. I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting the hosts but they did message me with very clear and precise directions to access the spot and to see if I needed anything! Highly recommend!

I absolutely loved camping here. I was in a shakedown trip in my Suburban Conversion and this was the perfect spot! Secluded, private, and all around great. The tobacco barn was really cool. The amount of firewood was AWESOME for the price. I didn’t think I’d burn it all…but I ended up doing so with a fire late into the night. Hosts are very nice. I will definitely stay at this campground again.

Very unique and private campsite that sits on a well maintained area perfect for rv and tent camping alike. The site has a boondocking feel to it with full hookup luxuries. You get the true feeling of privacy with breathtaking views. A 20 minute hike down a fairly steep path will bring you to a wide running river with places to sit and relax while enjoying nature. Two full hookup sites that can accommodate large and small rigs (50 amp power) with great views and a nice size firepit (firewood included!). Large covered pavilion with picnic tables with bright or dim lighting. A bath house coming soon. Some of the best on-site wifi we have had provided by the hosts. We had a nice, quiet, relaxing rv camping trip at Peak-A-View. My wife and I agree with others in saying we don't want this gem of a campground to get to popular. We also want Steve and Penny to fulfill their dreams of whatever their plans are for this in the future. Thank you Steve and Penny for sharing your beautiful property with us. You will see us again! Such a wonderful place for a family getaway, especially if you’re traveling with dogs! The property is incredibly private, and if your dogs have good recall, you really don’t need a fenced-in area. The creek was one of our favorite parts—we loved walking through it and even found several great little swimming holes as we explored up and down the creek. The beautiful garden across the street was an unexpected bonus and absolutely gorgeous! We loved our stay. 10/10 and we will definitely be back!
