Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain. Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Kayaks, canoes, and rowboats are provided at no charge. All kitchens are fully equipped, and there are many dining choices in Schoon Lake and Ticonderoga. The lake, with its islands, quiet coves, and river-like inlet, offers many intriguing places to explore. Family-owned since 1950, family-oriented. The gradually sloping sand beach is safe and delightful for children. You may choose to have a campfire near the beach; SunderLand promotes an informal, friendly atmosphere. Sunderland family members are on site to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable. We are near historic Ticonderoga, charming Schroon Lake, the Adirondack High Peaks area, Lake George, Lake Champlain, Middlebury, and Burlington, VT. The possibilities to visit Adirondack sites of interest are endless: river tubing on the Hudson River; visiting the Fort in Ticonderoga; seeing Olympic Village in Lake Placid, climbing any number of High Peaks, shopping or taking a sight-seeing cruise on Lake George, going horseback riding within 15 miles, dining, square dancing, shopping, or enjoying a craft brewery in Schroon Lake. Or have a relaxed time right at SunderLand sitting on a deck or porch, watching the loons or other birds, listening to the wind in the pines, reading a book, or taking an afternoon nap. We are open from mid-June until mid-October. We do not allow motorized watercraft. We allow pet dogs in Edgewood only. We are an inclusive family business where all people are welcome. You must be able to use ropes to hike up a 50-60 degree incline. This is not appropriate for small children.
