The perfect launching pad for all your Adirondack adventures. I turned a one-night stay into three. Robin is a great host and made sure that I had everything I needed. Hope to be back - I've got 44 more peaks to climb!

My husband and I came for the weekend on a last minute RV road trip!
Robin was an absolutely phenomenal host - she had a fire going for us upon arrival, she was welcoming and helped us set up, and made some great recommendations for us for local dinner spots.
We will absolutely come back!

Great centralized yet secluded spot. The lean to was the kids favorite to hang out at, eat meals, etc. Water from a well was provided, water pressure wasn’t the best but just filled our white tank and used water pump, power was also provided. Totally recommend for anyone looking a spot to explore ADK!

Robin was a wonderful and gracious host. We had clear directions to her site, and the photos were accurate and helpful. There was a lot of grassy space for us to pull in and park our 22’ sprinter van camper. We choose to be opposite Robin’s beautifully decked out ADK lean-to and campfire ring. The site was quiet and chill. The walks down to the River and to shops in town were easy and convenient. Great site all around.

A great location for everything Wilmington ! Very quiet street with a lot of wildlife nearby. There's a nice swimming hole just a short walk down the street, along with public picnic tables along the Ausable River. Great host and clean site with water /well hose and a nice authentic ADK lean-to and firepit. Very relaxing .

We absolutely loved pulling our van up next to the lean to and enjoying some covered space outside in the fresh air! It was raining when we first arrived, and having that space was so valuable. When the weather cleared up, it was beautiful, and we spent an amazing night with a camp fire under the stars. Robin is a fantastic host and was so lovely to meet and cat eith. We WILL be coming back here!

Robin was an amazing host who is just full of life and wants to help in anyway she can! Her little place she had for us to use was perfect! A great lean to to escape into when the rain hit. The fire pit was inviting and we had everything we needed and more! Close to anything you can imagine wanting to do!! Hike, bike, fish, paddle sports, visit historic places or drive up Whiteface. We couldn’t do 1/3 of what there was to do in the time we were there. Would definitely like to go back and use her site as a Homebase to explore from.
There is water and electricity but we didn’t need it during our stay. It’s private but you are close enough to the main road you are not far off the beaten path.

Staying at Robin’s place was great! Super close proximity to the high peaks and AMR trailhead, like 5 seconds from whiteface. She has WiFi, a super cute lean to, a fire pit. My boyfriend and I were brand new to RV camping (we went for the eclipse) and she helped us with an extra extension cord, a jump box, and lots of great information. She was so kind and great energy to be around. She’s right next to ausable river. It was a great experience. We hope to see her again soon.

Robin has a very nice semi-private double lot with a really cute lean-to in the back. It is a fairly level place and she has done a great job making the fire pit and chairs a nice place to unwind after a busy day in the Adirondacks.

Great spot for simple camping! The yard is big enough to feel privacy all around. The place is well set up, from the firepit with nice rocks to the deck/shelter that is very welcoming. The sound of the river flowing nearby is quite pleasant too! Robin was an super host, generous, kind, and easy going.

Robin's property is a gem and is located at a great location. It is a quiet space yet accessible to most anything you could possibly want to experience in the High Peaks region. Robin is very welcoming and accommodating. I could hear the river from the property every night. Highly recommended.

Robin was super friendly and her site was amazing. We had everything we needed: flat tent site, shelter in the coverred area, outlet for phone charging and water. The spot was an easy drive up and a great location for walking around and exploring a cute town outside of Lake Placid! Best thrift store ever - open Wed. and Saturdays across the river.

As perfect as our first HipCamp location was, our host Robin was even better. She was an absolute sweetheart who gave us all kinds of local tips that were all spot on. From where to eat to where to swim to where to hike, all were close by and perfect. So much to do in the area, close to Whiteface Mountain, close to Lake Placid, you will enjoy being in the middle of it all yet feeling just remote enough. We could walk to dinner and into town, and were minutes away from a myriad of adventures. But Robin made it all work. The lean-to gave us peace of mind in case we had bad weather, but we didn’t do it became another space to hang out and keep our stuff, the fire pit was awesome too.

Robin’s camp site was great, everything we could have asked for. The lean-to was perfect for sleeping under and it had a fire pit close by. We even got to park near the lean-to so unpacking the car was a breeze. A ton of space to set up a tent on the grass too. Portapotty on the site was convenient. Would recommend this site to anyone who wants to camp near the high peaks!
