There is one visible house across the street from the front of the cabin but it feels very private in the back of the house. There is a firepit. There are two outbuildings onsite that are not available for rent at this time. Use the house as your base for various hiking excursions, ice climbing, local event hopping, skiing, or simply relax and enjoy nature. There are four ski mountains all within a 40-minute drive. In the summer, enjoy the pool and tennis court, sit on the porch and read, or attend local festivals at Hunter or Woodstock. Other activities include Belleayre Beach, tubing down the Esopus Creek, fly fishing, or horseback riding. Hiking trails are at the end of the street and many more within a short drive (we provide local trail maps and books to help you find one). Diamond Notch Farms for horseback riding is within walking distance. Hunter, Windham, Belleayre, and Plattekill mountains are all nearby. There's also ice climbing available nearby, and festivals are held year-round at the ski mountains as well as in Woodstock. The towns of Phoenicia, Hunter, and Tannersville, with many good restaurants, are all very close.

We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. Surrounded by hiking trails, swimming holes, and charming bars and restaurants, there's plenty to explore nearby. Our cabin is completely off-grid, with no running water. The sink operates using a foot pump faucet, and we provide a compost toilet (non-flushing) for your convenience. Electricity is supplied by a battery, ensuring a rustic yet comfortable stay. Stay cozy with our cute cubic wood stove, fueled by firewood provided for both the stove and the fire pit. The cabin has 2 twin beds stacked one over the other. At night, they can be configured as a king-size bed. The labeled box on the shelf contains a gap filler when converting 2 twin beds into a king-size bed. In the small kitchen, an off-grid water system with a foot pump faucet and enamel sink provides 5 gallons of unheated water. Basic cooking can be done on the camping stove provided, and we offer drinking water from our well. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking supplies. Remember, this is an off-grid cabin with no running water, and electricity is provided by battery, so please be mindful of our limited power supply and refrain from using high-energy items such as hairdryers or electric heaters. During colder months (November to May), the composting toilet is moved inside the cabin, and there is no shower available. From June to November, an outdoor toilet and shower are provided. Find inspiration or relaxation in various spaces around the cabin, including a beautiful desk inside, cozy Adirondack chairs on the porch, a deck overlooking the lake, or a hammock in the woods. We offer Wi-Fi for your convenience. Important reminders: Keep food and garbage inside the cabin to avoid attracting wildlife. The property is a 5 minute drive to the hamlet of Mountaindalewhich has a lovely Rail Trail for hikes and bikes, and some excellent dining options including @ highvoltagecatskills, in addition to creek bar a magical cafe & bar with outdoor seating and fire pits that serves delicious modern Polish American comfort food, great cocktails, and has live music and events on weekends. There is also an artisan pizza spot with indoor/outdoor seating, hipster vibes and fun cocktails and live music @ thedaleNY For shopping you can also stop by @ forageandgather - they have foods, meats, gourmet deli and coffee and carry all the little things you may have forgotten to bring along in addition to a locally and craft focused wine and spirits shop. Also stop by @badgrandmashop for the most vibrant and stylish clothes for all sizes and styles. Not to be missed. There is also a lovely yoga studio and bollywood dance spot in addition to some other delightful gems in town. There is superb hiking nearby at Neversink Unique Area in Rock Hill. Also Bashakill trails (and conveniently a vineyard with tastings and events right nearby). We have 40 acres with miles of trails through the property. It is located on the hudson valley wine trail so there are tons of wineries to access. We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. We have a 1984, a 1975 and a 1966 all with solar electric lighting. Running water is located at the camp store. Take a look at our listings or ask me. Surrounded by hiking trails, swimming holes, and charming bars and restaurants, there's plenty to explore nearby. Our cabin is completely off-grid, with no running water. The sink operates using a foot pump faucet, and we provide a compost toilet (non-flushing) for your convenience. Electricity is supplied by a battery, ensuring a rustic yet comfortable stay. Stay cozy with our cute cubic wood stove, fueled by firewood provided for both the stove and the fire pit. The cabin has 2 twin beds stacked one over the other. At night, they can be configured as a king-size bed. The labeled box on the shelf contains a gap filler when converting 2 twin beds into a king-size bed. In the small kitchen, an off-grid water system with a foot pump faucet and enamel sink provides 5 gallons of unheated water. Basic cooking can be done on the camping stove provided, and we offer drinking water from our well. The kitchen is stocked with essential cooking supplies. Remember, this is an off-grid cabin with no running water, and electricity is provided by battery, so please be mindful of our limited power supply and refrain from using high-energy items such as hairdryers or electric heaters. During colder months (November to May), the composting toilet is moved inside the cabin, and there is no shower available. From June to November, an outdoor toilet and shower are provided. Find inspiration or relaxation in various spaces around the cabin, including a beautiful desk inside, cozy Adirondack chairs on the porch, a deck overlooking the lake, or a hammock in the woods. We offer Wi-Fi for your convenience. Important reminders: Keep food and garbage inside the cabin to avoid attracting wildlife. Clean your pet's paws before entering the cabin, and keep them supervised at all times. Please refrain from smoking inside the cabin and inviting visitors without consulting us. Overview

Just over two hours away from New York City, this mountain region is loved for its rolling green hills, pristine forests, and hidden waterfalls. The natural beauty has drawn visitors for over a century, leaving a history of grand resorts and hotels. The Catskill Mountains are the birthplace of fly fishing, as well as a popular destination for skiing, hiking, kayaking and, of course, camping.

Summer is the high season for campers when the comfortable temperatures lure folks away from the sweltering city. Autumn has fans, too. Visitors come as the trees change color, recasting the land in brilliant oranges and reds.

Kaaterskill Falls is perhaps the most famous scenic spot. This stunning waterfall cascades down over 250-feet. The falls have inspired artists for centuries, including several Hudson River School painters. The North-South Lake campground is close by. The largest of the New York State campgrounds, this spot has many family-friendly amenities, including beaches, boat rentals, and hiking trails.

Experienced hikers come to the Devil's Path to tackle one of the country's most difficult--and dangerous--hiking trails. The path takes hikers over some of the highest peaks, including Hunter Mountain. In the winter, this mountain is a major thrill for skiers and snowboarders. The Hunter Mountain Skyride has chair lifts that take you to the top most days of the year.

The Esopus Creek offers some of the best fly fishing in the country, particularly for trout. For a home base, check out the Kenneth L. Wilson campground, just a short drive from Mt. Tremper. The ground is on Wilson Lake and has a fishing pier to cast off into the shallow water.

You can also explore the Catskill Forest Preserve by water, following the many tributaries and lakes. Little Pond campground is a nice jumping off point. In addition to tent sites, there are several remote campgrounds off the beaten path for more seclusion. Just down the road are Big Lake and Alder Lake, two favorite spots for flat-water paddling. Motorboats aren't allowed, so small craft have the water all to themselves.
