For generations, the majestic waterfall has been revered for its spectacular beauty. It’s considered a sacred site central to local land rematriation work with the Kanienkeha:ka.
Coursing between two outcroppings in a deep ravine, the waterfall crashes down over mossy rock shelves into emerald swimming holes and through dramatic clay beds. It’s one of those extraordinary spots on earth that make you feel like you’re in another world. The sites aren’t suitable for parties or loud groups.
It's about a 10 minute hike to the waterfall where you can spend the day swimming, exploring the clay beds and looking for fossils in the 280 million year old gorge. In the evening, make a campfire and fall asleep under the stars listening to the river below.
The hike is steep and appropriate footwear is required. All hiking is at your own risk. Although your path to the waterfall is private and the waterfall is on private property, there may be other guests or locals that access the waterfall further down the road. There is no glass or alcohol allowed at the falls.
Be aware that you may hear your camping neighbors in the woods. For this reason, we ask that you don’t play amplified music and keep noise down after 10pm to enjoy the sounds of frogs, crickets, owls, and night songs of the countryside
At the entrance to the campsites there is a barn community room with a charging station, cold water sink, fridge, coffee maker, cookware, and a port-a-potty. There are 5 gallon solar shower bags that you can use at your campsite. You are responsible for filling them and putting them in the sun to heat the water.
This is a leave no trace site. Take all your trash with you when you leave. Bring your own biodegradable soap for dishes and toilet paper for the port-a-potty!
Firewood is available onsite for $1 per log.
The Schoharie Valley is said to be the most fertile valley east of the Mississippi. It is still wild, unspoiled country and there are many local farms stands with fresh produce and organic meat close by.
Within a 5 miles radius is a general store, Scrumpy Ewe Cidery, Panther Creek Arts, Rooted Movement, the Sap Bush Country Store and Café, and Mustang Valley (a wild mustang sanctuary). Nearby hikes include Looking Glass Pond and Vroman's Nose, and others.

Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums.
Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it.
A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family.
We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so.
We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

You will love your stay with us! It's all the fun of camping with all the convenience of a hotel, whether you are camping as a couple or as a family. Each campsite can be rented as a single tent or family camping with two tents. both tents can be furnished with either 2 twin beds or 1 Queen bed. Message me ahead of time with your needs and I will set it up accordingly. All blankets and sheets are provided. Each tent has a mini fridge, Keurig which comes with a few kcups, cream and sugars to get you started. There is a 24" TV with Alexa firestick and DVD player. We have a large catalog of movies if you'd like to borrow them. There is a small breakfast table for 2 and a 3 drawer dresser that doubles as a night table with a lamp . There is an outlet on each side of the bed for charging phones
Outside the tent your area has a gas grill and picnic table, a camp box which contains pots pans, cooking utensils, paper plates, cups and more. A campbox inventory list is posted in the pictures. There is a fire pit with adirondack chairs, sit by the fire and roast Marshmallows we provide everything you need for smores including the sticks.
Bath towels and toiletries are provided there is a large shower with dressing room and a deluxe flushable Porta potty with a sink and paper towels on the property.
You are welcome to walk the property sit and relax on one of the many benches or chairs or get a game of cornhole going.

This serene is secluded on a mountain surrounded by trees with seasonal views. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities!
The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you.

The cozy 300-square-foot cabin comfortably sleeps up to four guests and includes an open living and kitchen area, an electric fireplace, year-round heat and electricity, one bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a queen-over-twin bunk bed.
Please note that there is no indoor bathroom or plumbing inside the cabin. A separate private bathhouse, located about 60 yards away, includes two private bathrooms with hot showers, a brand-new septic system, and well water.
There is also no full kitchen inside the cabin. Guests have access to a refrigerator with a small freezer, a countertop electric burner, basic cookware and utensils, and everything needed for cooking over the fire pit. Think simple meals and hunting-cabin vibes rather than a full modern kitchen.

Excellent set up for rainy weather too - the out door patio cover worked great and means you can grill and have a fire, even in the rain. Young Acres has all that you see in the pics plus a fantastic host who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and having fun. The weather was wet, but the site drained well and the airstream is beautifully designed with high end towels, soaps, etc… The kids had a blast in the paddle boat and fishing in the pond, even catching a large mouth bass! The only knock is the property is pretty close to an active two lane road, so it may not be ideal for those looking for remote wilderness silence.

We loved our time at the Record Room. It was an all around incredible experience despite several days of rainy weather. We had plenty to keep us busy, including the stellar record collection, cooking outside, a good collection of games, and the hot tub. The cabin and site are impeccably neat and intentionally designed, and have everything you could possibly need to enjoy the outdoors but be cozy. We so enjoyed traipsing through the mossy woods and exploring the surrounding area. We'll be back for sure!

Weekend Trip to Waterfall Sanctuary & Quiet Retreat
Such a nice visit to The Sparrow House. It's incredibly peaceful. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen stocked with tools. The house has the most incredible wall paper I've ever seen. I'm inspired! The falls are not to be missed. My family and I brought wetsuits to brave the cold May water and it was great!!! The hummingbirds visited. I foraged for apple leaves and jewelweed. The fire and the sauna kept us nicy and cozy! Spectacular views and great communication.

Weekend Trip to Angie's Country Cabins B&B
Angie was there to greet us- everything was so straightforward and easy to figure out on our own! The hot tub room was so clean- i wish we had a little more time to really enjoy all the amenities provided by this hipcamp spot!!
The shared shower was immaculate and had any soap you could imagine! It was amazing to get woken up to with breakfast too- Angie is doing great things with her business here👏🏻

Our experience at Heron on the Hill Glamping was incredible. The entire space is extremely charming, very well outfitted, and extremely welcoming. Activities abound! The host, Michelle, is extremely communicative, friendly, professional, and helpful both before our trip and during!
There's plenty to do for the entire family, the tents were cozy, and for all of the camping necessities, they're taken up many notches to facilitate a more comfortable camping-experience (heated shower? Flushing porta-potties? Where else do you get that, right?)

Absolutely incredible stay from start to finish. The property was beautiful, peaceful, and so relaxing — exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. Absolutely loved the Hippie Haven! The place was perfect, it was exactly what you would want for a short getaway. The entire place is meticulously designed for comfort while also providing an outdoor feel. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for the cool spring night. Shaggy and Kendra were excellent hosts. They were extremely responsive and found time during their work days to message us back if we had any questions. This place was an 11/10.
Side note: The Heron restaurant in Narrowsburg was out of this world, a little pricey but the food was delicious.

We had a lovely stay in the retro RV. Soaking in a hot bath next to a fire and the sounds of the spring was a top tier moment. We ventured out less than 15 miles to Trout Pond and found a stunning view at Russel Brook Falls. Overall a super charming experience, Sam was a great host.

Weekend Trip to Angie's Country Cabins B&B
We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay.
We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back.
For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy.
If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had.
Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

3 nights at Glamping Tent Overlooking Waterfall
10/10 u should stay here. i usually dont even like glamping/cabins because i would rather just camp but this was very worth it. the cabin is isolated enough to feel like you are alone you dont even really notice other ppl are staying on the property. its the perfect size for a couple and we stayed with our cat too. the bathtub was so nice and having a covered bbq and pantry outside makes everything really easy. if you want to be outdoors/in nature but straight camping in the northeast winter/cold/stormy season is too much for you this is perfect. Sam is great and was always around if we had a issue or needed help with something. he let us pit fire some ceramics as well which was a blessing.
