This is the experience that you'll remember for years to come. Welcome to The Record Room - Built directly from our hands and our hearts, The Record Room borders the fine line of camping and glamping, with a wood-fired cedar hot tub and outdoor shower that feeds off a small artesian creek, a sauna tucked within the trees, overlooking scenic ridge, and solar-powered vinyl that plays inside and out across a vast selection of vintage, classic, and current albums. Back to our small creek, there are plenty of quaint spots to dip your toes. The Monguap River is close enough to see and hear, and the Delaware River is just 2 miles up the road, with rafting, kayaking, and canoeing companies all along it. A queen Tempur-Pedic bed, as well as an overstuffed futon, will take care of you come nightfall. The outdoor kitchen is built for cooking some real food - a flat-top grill, a single burner, a stainless steel grate grill, cast-iron pans, and all utensils, all powered by propane. A wood stove inside will handle the chilly mornings and brisk nights. We have a pool table under a custom-built pavilion just for your enjoyment. And last but certainly not least, our outhouse, which is maintained by the women of our family. We also have a nearby waterfall, which is as close as a three-minute drive down the road. The Hawks Nest lookout is under 10 minutes away. We recommend downloading a trail finder app, as once you arrive here, there will be zero service or wifi. Since we only have one bed and one futon, only four individuals can sleep comfortably, but we also have a couple of spots for your friend circle to set up some tents. Our mission is to get people back into the life we feel so disconnected from nowadays, and we provide the space to be able to do so. We highly recommend the firewood package, as it makes life much easier, unless you plan on picking through the woods on your property (which we totally support!)

There are places on the land and a short walk away along DuBois and Glenwood Heights Roads where there are wonderful views of Cayuga Lake. It is less than a mile walk or ride to the Black Diamond Trail, a hiking and biking trail that extends four+ miles North to Taughannock Falls State Park and four+ miles South to Cass Park, the Ithaca Children's Garden, and the City of Ithaca Municipal Pool. And all of downtown Ithaca. Hundreds of adjacent (although not accessible) acres are wildlife preserves, abandoned orchards, and a working honey bee and bison farm. The campsite is neighboring 105 acres of beautiful conservatory land available for hiking. No true trails are available, but you can be adventurous and hike further up the mountain, arriving to a clearing, providing you with a lovely mountainous view. From the mountain, you can hike to a waterfall or even hike across a lovely plain field surrounded by mountain ranges on both sides and crossing the creek over to Historic Stone houses in Hurley. Within a 10 minute drive check out some of the local restaurants like Alebrijes, Hickory BBQ & Smokehouse, and the Hurley Inn where the movie “Tootsie” was filmed!. Hurley Marbletown Trailhead and Rail trail parking are only a 6 minute drive away! The town of Kingston is about 15 minutes from our site where you will find Bluestone Wild Forest, antique shops, restaurants, other outdoor activities! The nights are just spectacular as you look into the sky surrounded by a blanket of stars, able to see the many constellations looking like jewels on a black cloth. The sounds of nature and all of it's distinct calls including that of eagles, is truly an experience. And we cannot forget our other friendly neighbors, the wild turkeys and deer! We are very appreciative of this beauty and would love to share this sacred place with you. Learn more about this land: Feels like you’re away from civilization but yet close to all the Hudson valley has to offer. 15-20min from Woodstock, rosendale, stone ridge, Rhinebeck, red hook, New Paltz and Mohawnk short 30 min drive. The glampsite is a yurt with a fire pit and a full modern bathroom just a short walk away. For a small fee, you can also rent our bikes for riding the nearby rail trail or just visit the waterfall 2 miles away. Wood available for purchase. The main tent features a King bed with plush foam mattress, available rollaway bed for a third guest, lounging chairs, private fire pit, solar powered electricity, heating, air conditioning, Keurig coffee maker, Bluetooth speaker and more. Just a 10-15 minute drive to multiple lakes, hiking, skiing, the Bethel Woods concert venue and other attractions For those with more than 3 guests, or if you just want to spread out, you can choose to add on the second 16ft tent, which features a Queen bed and the option to add an additional rollaway sleeper if needed. While staying on our property, you will have access to the saltwater pool, and game room barn which features a retro arcade, billiard table and more. Absolutely loved the Hippie Haven! The place was perfect, it was exactly what you would want for a short getaway. The entire place is meticulously designed for comfort while also providing an outdoor feel. The hot tub and sauna were perfect for the cool spring night. Shaggy and Kendra were excellent hosts. They were extremely responsive and found time during their work days to message us back if we had any questions. This place was an 11/10. Side note: The Heron restaurant in Narrowsburg was out of this world, a little pricey but the food was delicious.

We had a lovely stay in the retro RV. Soaking in a hot bath next to a fire and the sounds of the spring was a top tier moment. We ventured out less than 15 miles to Trout Pond and found a stunning view at Russel Brook Falls. Overall a super charming experience, Sam was a great host.

We had a fantastic trip thanks to the site being fantastic, and Sam being a wonderful host! There was an unforeseen issue early on and Sam was quick to immediately get my wife and I on a different site without us having to reschedule, no questions asked. Not to mention the grounds themselves are close enough to stores/other outings if you need anything. I would return again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing stay at Angie’s Country Cabins B&B, truly a hidden gem. Angie is an incredible host who goes above and beyond, with attention to every little detail that makes the experience feel special. The cabin was cozy, beautifully decorated, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect romantic getaway for some much needed rest and relaxation. The breakfast was phenomenal, honestly one of the highlights of our stay. We only wish we had more time there and will definitely be coming back. For food nearby, Whiskey Hill Saloon was a 5 star dinner spot with a great atmosphere and delicious food. We also stopped by Ron’s Treasure, which was such a cool experience full of amazing antiques and history, and the owner is a genuinely sweet guy. If you don’t mind a short drive, The Nana Peruvian Kitchen is absolutely worth it, some of the best Peruvian food we have had. Highly recommend this whole experience to anyone looking to unplug, relax, and enjoy a peaceful romantic getaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10/10 u should stay here. i usually dont even like glamping/cabins because i would rather just camp but this was very worth it. the cabin is isolated enough to feel like you are alone you dont even really notice other ppl are staying on the property. its the perfect size for a couple and we stayed with our cat too. the bathtub was so nice and having a covered bbq and pantry outside makes everything really easy. if you want to be outdoors/in nature but straight camping in the northeast winter/cold/stormy season is too much for you this is perfect. Sam is great and was always around if we had a issue or needed help with something. he let us pit fire some ceramics as well which was a blessing.

We had the loveliest stay at this Hipcamp cabin last weekend. It was unbelievably cozy and warm inside, even with the temperature dropping to -1 degrees outside — the perfect little winter retreat. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, especially under the cold night air, and quickly became our favorite part of the stay. Sam was such a kind and welcoming host, making us feel comfortable and taken care of from start to finish. You can really tell how much care goes into this place. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, magical getaway

I feel like I really lucked out with my time at Sam's RV site! I had a beautiful, snowy and peaceful time for New Year's Eve. Upon arrival Sam helped me parked my car in a safe spot so I wouldn't get stuck in the snow, and the firepit was already prepared and the RV clean and heated already on for a warm arrival. Sam was quick to help navigate some questions I had about the RV. As a solo traveler, I felt safe with the RV's location, while still feeling like I had privacy. Such a cozy space! Thank you for everything Sam!

I loved everything about this place. It felt welcoming and cozy from the moment we arrived. When I messaged Sam, he responded right away and provided everything we needed. My partner and I accidentally caused an issue with the plumbing, and we felt truly sorry about it, but Sam was incredibly understanding and even comforted me during the situation. I’m very grateful for his kindness. We stayed at the tiney camper with spring tub and brook. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this place.
