Joel and I have co-authored several books (under the pen name J.E. Ribbey) which are also available in the Farm Store. We have an American post-apocalyptic thriller series and a historical fiction series for middle grade readers about the American Revolutionary War.
We have a nice, fully private outdoor shower with hot water available for $2.50/shower. Guests can pay on-site via our posted QR codes or cash box.
We're also available for other events like birthday parties, intimate weddings, and group gatherings at our gazebo and/or 20ft x 40ft party tent.
Several lakes in the area provide numerous options for fishing, boating, and hiking. And nothing beats those evening country road walks while agate hunting!
Other area attractions include Mini golf in Cambridge, public aquatic center with water slides in Mora, and several state parks an hour or less away.

Enjoy a peaceful escape on our private 3.5-acre lot, perfect for tent camping or RVs. The upper site includes an electric hook-up, outhouse, and a dedicated fire pit for campfires under the stars. Surrounded by woods on either side, it offers a quiet, semi-secluded spot for nature lovers.
A short trail (400 feet or a little over a football field) leads through the forest to the Snake River, where you’ll find a second fire pit with chairs, solar lighting, and a private dock that is shared with just our cabin and a campsite. If you are tenting, you can tent at the river but do not drive on the trail. The river is great for fishing, swimming, canoeing, or kayaking, and can accommodate small boats. Multiple public boat landings are located up and down the river for easy drop off and access points.
The property lines are outlined in the overview picture. Please do not go to the east of the trail to provide ample space for privacy with our neighbors. The red on the map is the camping area with electricity and outhouse. Our personal log cabin is the blue dot but there is a significant tree line in between. If we are there, we are happy to give you a tour. The blue line is the trail. The white area is our property on the river and available for tent only or to hang out for the day if you choose to camp up top.
While the site does not have running water, you’ll be camping right next to our family cabin, and we’re happy to help with anything you might need.
There’s also plenty to explore nearby. Just minutes away, Braham offers a quirky “hole-in-the-wall” bowling alley and some charming local shops. Head over to Pine City for more options, including restaurants, a larger grocery store, and additional shopping. History buffs will enjoy visiting the Snake River Fur Trading Post, a Minnesota historical site. And if you’re in the mood for a local treat, Sapsucker Farms is a nearby cidery open on weekends, often hosting live music, food trucks, and hiking trails. Note: Site does not have an assigned address but the driveway is next to our cabin on the North side of the Snake River in Pine City MN, NOT Rock Creek MN. The site is a vacant lot and has the better river view and experience as its a small peninsula that juts out to the river with rapids. There is a swimming area right next to the campsite or feel free to jump into the rapids if you want a rush. There is fishing right there as well, mostly large and small mouth bass.
There is parking off the road and a short walk to the campsite, just follow the sounds of the river. Small wagons are provided to help with getting gear down to the river tent site. There is a composting toilet, it uses a "separator" where #1 goes back to the earth (as it is sterile and liquid) and #2 goes into a bucket and is covered with wood chips. There is also a standing urinal for men if desired. If you would prefer to use a pit toilet there is one on the property with directions marked with a sign. It is a farther walk however, about 100 yards from the tent site and on the cabin property near the driveway. If you want something even more convenient, feel free to bring your own.
Firewood is available for sale onsite or feel free to clean up dead wood lying along the trail at no cost.
The tent site is right next to rapids on the Snake river. If you struggle sleeping to the sound of rushing water, this may not be for you!

We had a great stay at the Singing Frog! Everything was clean, convenient and thoughtfully put together. The pond was serene and had beautiful wildlife - turtles, frogs, dragonflies to name some. We built a fire - thanks for providing the wood! The bread, eggs, fruit and yogurt were greatly appreciated. It was quiet, even though I believe there were others staying on the property. We would absolutely stay again!

Our stay at Alpha and Omega Farm was rustically elegant in the best possible way. The simplicity was endearing, welcoming, and truly a breath of fresh air.
My daughter and I felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Our hosts were incredibly kind and did everything they could to make sure we had a wonderful stay.
One of my favorite parts was simply being on the farm—falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the animals, getting the chance to feed the donkeys and cows, and having a place where you can sit back, settle in, and be intentional about letting go and enjoying where you are.
We treated ourselves to both the caramel rolls and the smörgåstårta breakfast, and both were amazing. The caramel rolls were soft, simple, absolutely delicious, and literally delivered hot from the oven. The smörgåstårta breakfast was a delight—the cheeses, meats, fruit, and bread paired together seamlessly. Nothing was overly complicated, and that simplicity somehow made everything even better.
The bathrooms were clean and well cared for. They are outhouse-style, with running water outside for handwashing, but this didn't detract from our stay at all—it simply fit the rustic experience.
We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the chance to slow down. Sometimes the best getaway isn't about having more—it's about having less to distract you from what matters. ❤️

We had a wonderful time at The Lazy River, we really enjoyed the kayaks and exploring the river with our dogs. The river was very calm and we also were able to float in some tubes and catch some rays. Plenty of firewood was provided which we greatly appreciated while sitting around the cozy campfire area. We pitched our tent on the area near the river and were treated to a beautiful view while relaxing in our tent and calming sounds from nature at night. We had a great stay and would recommend, thank you!

This was such a cute and cozy spot! There weren’t other nearby campers so it felt really secluded, intimate, and quiet. We weren’t too bothered by the gun shots, they sounded far away. There were mice droppings on the bed and later on our bedding, so gloves and some cleaning supplies would be nice if provided too. Otherwise, the air mattress was extremely comfortable, the A frame cabin wall was easy to open/close, and the river, although low and nonmoving at this time, provided great cooling off for my pups. It was very cool to be able to see a lightening show from bed too! Will very likely book again!

We had a wonderful stay with our dog and toddler. It was fun to explore the farm and see the goats, chickens, cat, geese, and ducks. Our toddler loved the playground and running around in the loft of the barn. The was great and spacious. They have a fire pit, chairs, table, screen tent all set up, and lots of free wood. We had a great time!

Right next to the river and a beautiful view. Note that there are homes and cabins next to the campsite so if you have noisy dogs/pets, etc you might want to find a more secluded camp site. But otherwise the spot was very peaceful, well maintained and even the outhouse was decorated and cute. The wagon at the parking spot to help carry stuff to the camp site was a nice touch and the directions and maps given were spot on.
