R&R Mille Lacs offers a private channel lake lot on beautiful Mille Lacs! The site will have a pull through driveway with 2 RV spots with electricity and water on a gravel pad. The gravel drive through is big enough for 1 more RV but there are no hookups. $60 per RV per night. (So if your group brings 3 RVs it totals to $180.00 per night. Tents are also allowed. There is one dump station as you pull out.
The site also has a private dock to put your boat or other water toys on. With just a short boat ride through the channel you can be out fishing on the mighty Mille Lacs in minutes. There are no waves to worry about in the channel so just tying up to the dock is nice and easy. With the calm waters it is a great place to use your kayak or paddle board, or just some fishing off the dock. There will be a four person paddle boat available for guests, you must bring your own lifejackets for any water activities. There are also atv or mountain bike trails just feet away from the site. There is a fire pit on site with free split firewood.
We are located 5 minutes south of Garrison, and 5 minutes north of Grand Casino Mille Lacs, and right across the road from Northwood Hills golf course with Charlie’s Bar & Grill.
To launch your boat there are public water accesses to the north and south.

Great quiet relaxing location, with wildlife and the sound of the country. You will have the only camp site on the property. You can stay in the small camping cabin in comfort with your own bedding, or bring a sleeping bag. We have the twin bed in the loft, or use the futon on the main level. The cabin only has room for two adults unless you bring a camp pad to sleep on the floor, or squeeze in a child, but you have the comforts of an A/C , a Weber grill, mini fridge, microwave, and Electricity. Quiet former country farm site, with great wildlife viewing options with walking trails. Only 23 miles to DT St. Cloud and 7 Miles to the Walmart in Princeton for food or supplies. If a shower is desired the Kwik Trip in St Cloud, on Hwy 10 has showers. Just a half mile off Hwy 95 and 5 miles from the large Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge, with trails and lots of wildlife. In the Fall expect to see a large amount of wildlife with many migrating birds come out of the refuge to feed. Expect to hear Pheasant's cackle in the AM, and see Sandhill Cranes and Geese fly over the camp site, or sitting in area fields. Enjoy time around a campfire with folding chairs and a picknick table, with plenty of free dry firewood in a storage rack.

They roam freely on part of our property with the help of an invisible fence. Feel free to shoo them away, or hush them if they bother you or if any other rogue neighborhood dog wanders over.
When we camp, we value privacy, and we'll ensure the same for you. Upon arrival, please head directly to your campsite or cabin. We can communicate through messaging to assist you with anything you need.
Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
The Loo (pit toilet): She works hard for the money! With lots of campers and hot weather, The Loo can get a little...fragrant. We have it regularly serviced and cleaned, but during peak heat and heavy use, odors can happen. Nature gonna nature. If you're sensitive to smells please feel free to bring your own portable loo setup!

We purchased the property in 2003 in order to escape the city life and be closer to nature. Over the years we have developed our sustainable farm, raising grass-fed cattle, chickens, and various other animals over the years. Welcome to our inviting custom built cottage. It is located on our property, approximately 300' from on our home on our 55 acre land plot, located 10 minutes outside of St. Joseph, MN. We are very near St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict. Hiking trails located on our property as well as nearby County parks and St. John's University. We are 6 miles from the Wobegon Trail (76 miles long) which is great for biking, roller blading, walking and running.
Come explore Creekwood Acres which is host to a great deal of wild life as well as sustainably raised animals with a process we call rejuvenative farming. Wander through the woods and listen to the birds, watch monarch butterflies, our cattle and hear the, frogs, crickets and occasionally distant coyotes. The Watab Creek runs through the property which consists of fields, forest and a pond.
Our cozy cottage was built by our family using lumber sawn on our property. There are two double beds up in the loft accessible by ladder and one queen size sofa sleeper (very comfortable!) on the main level . A wood burning stove keeps the cottage cozy in cooler weather. There is a bathroom with flushing toilet and shower. Electricity keeps the cottage aglow and runs a refrigerator, microwave, sound system and fans. Also available for your convenience, an apartment size range and kitchen sink.
Enjoy a fire in a private fire ring near the cottage. Firewood available for purchase (for exterior fire ring). Enjoy a wood-fired sauna upon request. The sauna has been known to get quite hot!

The Hamlet Lake homestead is our 10-acre family home with two unique and private hip-camp sites. We have both lakeshore (in front) and a hobby farm with cows, chickens and goats in our back lawn and woods. The Hamlet Lake Bunkhouse is located to the west of our home in its own secluded parcel next to the lake. The Camp on Hamlet Hill (closed for 2026) is to the north of our home, on a remote flat hill at the top of our property, on a hill over Cedar brook. with 300-acre, (private) Hamlet Lake in front, and the wide portion of the 20-mile Cedar brook in the back. We are a large "homesteading" family, with chickens, ducks, and a garden. The campsite is a private 1/2 acre clearing, surrounded by woods with a firepit, grill, cooking utensils, and an outhouse. (Tents are available for a small additional cost). There is an outdoor water pump below the hill, near which guests can view our fenced-in animals. Guests can also access the waterfront and beach in front, with the use of the swim raft, lily pad, fishing dock, canoe, kayak, and paddle boards included. At nearly 100 feet deep, Hamlet lake also boasts excellent fishing. Our home is located 6 miles from Crosby, with the world-class Cuyuna Lakes 50-mile mountain bike trail system. Crosby is a growing tourist town with many new and unique restaurants, outdoor adventures, and shopping opportunities. The paved bike trail begins 3.5 north of us. Milacs lake is 10 miles to the south.

How we ended up in Knife Lake Township on 81 acres of forested land.
We began looking for land in late fall of 1996.
After several months of searching, we happened upon a tiny newspaper ad for 81 acres of land described as "Beautiful, secluded, mature hardwoods, tall pines w/creek & beaver pond, many gd bldg sites & great hunting". We toured the property, covered in almost two feet of snow, on a snowmobile in January 1997 and fell in love with it.
We have been stewards of this piece of land for 25 years and are still enamored of its beauty and diversity. We are lulled to sleep by the sounds of owls and bullfrogs and the distant yipping of coyotes. Spring through fall we are often awakened by the rattling, honking of sandhill cranes and a wide variety of bird songs. Besides deer and lots of small critters, we've seen bear, bobcat, rafters of turkeys, quail, grouse, pheasant, owls, hawks and eagles. The sky, on a clear night, is breathtaking.
We have always visualized sharing the land with others, so come and immerse yourself in this bountiful space.

We stayed at the walk in site 1 and it was great! Mostly private (we could see and hear the other campers from across the river) and very beautiful. My kids loved playing in the river, even though it was reduced to puddles because of the drought, and they caught a bunch of critters! The host was very hospitable and kind. Recommend if you don't mind the possibility of hearing and seeing other campers!

Hands-down, best pizza buffet I've ever had in my life. Also, I'm a cinnamon roll fan, but now after having the caramel rolls delivered to my tent in the morning with fresh, hot, French press coffee, I now love THESE caramel rolls. Highly recommend the upgrades to get the pizza and the rolls. It's the first time I've camped next to a cow pasture, but it was very enjoyable (they keep the pasture clean so wafting manure is minimal to non-existent). We were able to camp on a windy 70 to 80° day that was dry with the exception of some humidity in the morning so it was very pleasant. The site has porta potties some distance away from the tent camping, so if you have any toileting issues, this might be worth knowing. They do provide an outdoor sink with running water to wash hands. It's near the potties, which are also near the petting area for the pigs and goats so very handy in that regard. The outdoor shower is interesting, but we only stayed one night, so didn't need to use it. The dining area closest to the glamping tents includes several seating spaces, which are rustic and elegant in their own way. The farm also has a really clever basketball hoop set up inside of a grain chute plus other yard games. I look forward to going again on a pizza night just to get the food, but would not hesitate to camp there again! It was spendy for me because I also paid for goat YOGA, so I'd probably leave that off next time (more goat hijinx than yoga) but really appreciated the opportunity!

The glamping tents were exactly what we needed to feel comfortable. Friends stayed in the other tent and the shared space was perfect. The farm is beautiful and all the animals are curious and welcoming to anyone who wants to interact with them. And of course, the pizza(!) was absolutely amazing. Seeing and hearing the sandhill cranes was an unexpected treat for all of us.
