Start your morning with a perfect view of the sunrise (site 2), or a more shaded, sleep-in a bit (site 1) along with your favorite morning beverage. Site 3 is a large grassy area with tree cover for tents or small vehicles, and a sunrise/sunset view. Feel free to explore the property and you will find a wooded grove and dirt walking path, native plants, wild life--deer, squirrels, pheasants, eagles, hawks, fox, coyote, raccoon, etc. We have 2 fire pits on the property, one at site 1, the other at site 2. You are welcome to bring a portable fire ring or BBQ. We have a vegetable garden you we welcome to admire or get veggies from if they are ripe. We also have a trampoline with surrounding net if there is anyone interested in jumping on that. There is a basketball hoop located by site 1. The outdoor bathroom and guest patio area is also located near site 1. We have a few animals that roam the land, a black lab named Emma, she is 13 years old and friendly as can be but if she is outside she will greet you with barks and running with excitement to see who you are. She does not jump on people. Sometimes she will get territorial with other dogs but is fine after an introduction. So if you are traveling with dogs, a heads up is appreciated! We also have farm cats and egg laying chickens. Take a walk on our country road or into town, approximately a mile and a half to restaurants, visitors center at the Jolly Green Giant Statue, hardware stores, Shell gas station & food mart or access to miles of paved trails around the town. Explore and have fun locating the dozens of "Little Sprouts" (baby Green Giants) around town. There is a very nice City swimming pool with diving board, slide, lap pool, zero depth pool all the water features, lounge chairs, umbrella's, concession stand, showers... located on the South end of Main Street in Blue Earth. Very easy entrance and exit to Blue Earth, site is located at the intersection of Interstate 90 & HWY 169.

We live on a 10 acre property with many mature trees and a walking path cut through the middle. We do not have any farm animals but there are some in area so the normal farm smells blow through on occasion. We have a 7 hole disc golf course on the property. We have six 30 amp/110 electric hook ups and 2 water hook ups. There is plenty of room to play yard games. The historic Dodd Ford bridge just 3 miles away. The small town of Amboy is just 4 miles away. There is a Casey's gas station and Dollar General in town and a couple different other dining options. The stars are amazing at night out here.

A great location close to I-90. We had been driving 500 miles that day and didn’t arrive until well after dark. Chelsey was there, along with her friendly dog and cats, to welcome us. Nice spot to pull our trailer into.

Bryan and Natalie were wonderful hosts! It was duck hunting opener and we were made aware of that prior and it was no problem! It did rain so we weren’t able to explore the property but we did have a wonderful relaxing time. We will be back!

This Hipcamp was beautiful and private. We really appreciated being surrounded by a nature preserve with beautiful views of wildflower fields and pond. We saw monarchs, geese, ducks and at night our site was visited by many deer. Our host was attentive and friendly coming by to say hello after we arrived.

This hipcamp is a little piece of country heaven! It is a picturesque property that is just a few miles off of the highway but quiet for a good night’s rest. My pup and I stopped for a day on our way to the Black Hills and camped in site 1. It is a perfect site, level, very safe, immaculately kept with all attention to comfort. There is a large mowed area for walking a dog, a picnic table, electric as described, and trees to block the west sun. Also, almost no bugs.

This was the perfect overnight stay for us on our National Parks road trip. Beautiful, private and everything we needed to unwind and rest. My husband fished the pond and caught 4 fish while I relaxed with my knitting. We got a good nights sleep and hit the road the next morning, headed to South Dakota. The host offered us apples from the tree at the Pavilion which was a lovely gesture and the apples were delicious. This was the first of our Hipcamp stays and I’m sold! Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again if we pass this way in the future. Thank you Shannon♥️

Very convenient to the interstate but still out in the country. Chelsea was very accommodating. She has a 30 amp RV outlet, but we needed a standard 110v outlet so she let us plug in to her garage. We got to say hi to several kitties and got to pet her sweet young pup.

Camping on Bryan’s beautiful land was an absolute treat! The lakeside setting was peaceful and scenic — perfect for paddle boating and canoeing. Evenings by the campfire were magical, with the soft glow of the lake and the sounds of nature all around. We also took a gorgeous walk through their nature conservation area, surrounded by wildflowers and tall grasses, which made it feel like stepping into a postcard.
Bryan’s property is the ideal mix of relaxation and adventure — a place where you can unwind, explore, and truly connect with nature.

This place is simply amazing! The whole area is surrounded by fields of wildflowers, and I saw wildlife everywhere! Deer and swans were near the pond in the morning, and at sunset I was serenaded by a chorus of frogs! I could hear pheasants cackling not far away—everything just felt magical. The host were welcoming, and I can tell they take such pride in their land. The grassy areas for camping were freshly mowed, and they allowed me to walk their nature paths. Thank you for such an amazing stay!! I can’t wait to come back next month!

This place is by far the best private campsite we have ever experienced! We had an excellent stay and would absolutely recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for a peaceful, serene, well-maintained place to camp. The host was friendly, welcoming, and communicated everything clearly before we arrived. The campsite was exactly as described—clean, private, beautiful, natural, and thoughtfully prepared.
We especially appreciated the beautiful surroundings, the quiet atmosphere, and the little details that made our stay comfortable. We saw the most beautiful sunset over the pond, and a pair of white swans was swimming in the pond in the morning. The cedar pavilion is new and beautiful, and the grounds around the pond are mowed and well cared for. It is obvious that the host takes great pride in providing a wonderful experience for guests.
We would gladly stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this campsite to friends and family. Thank you for sharing such a fantastic place with us!

This is a beautiful site right in the farm building complex with stunning views of the prairie lake with a shaded canopy of oak trees. We paddled the canoe and enjoyed sitting looking out at the water. The hosts are very friendly and helpful!
