We were married in 2016 and have four children as part of our blended family. We are both originally from the Upper Peninsula. At that time, it was known as Coleman’s Paradise Resort. There was a For Sale sign marking the property. We both knew at that point our fate was sealed to become this property’s new owners. We learned that this property had been a family vacation destination for nearly 100 years. We could only imagine the special memories that had been made here over the years! We wanted to become a part of that deep history. Through the many years of the resort’s history, the owners had changed and the cabins were showing true signs of their age. We knew there was A LOT of work that simply had to be done. On a wing and prayer, we somehow made this great resort ours. In April of 2017, we opened what we named Superior Times Resort and Campground. We pulled up or sleeves and went to work! Breakfast foods will be supplied but there will no cooking provided. If you have special requests for breakfast foods please forward that information one week prior to arrival. There’s a brand new 65” Roku TV in the living room and we have fiber optic wireless internet. We also added a tankless hot water heater so everybody gets a hot shower! We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. There’s a nice, large foyer with a bench and a shelf with hooks with plenty of room to store all your coats, bibs, helmets, boots, etc. -Separate rental agreement and security deposit hold required for all reservations.

The entire tent and vestibule are on a raised deck - off the ground. Private fire pit and picnic table by the pond. No pets allowed. Only 8 miles from downtown Marquette and 35 miles from Munising and the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. A short 5 minute walk to a lovely sand beach on Lake Superior. Bathroom and shower are located at the Gitche Gumee RV Park entrance 100 yards from the tent. No smoking, cooking or open flame in the tent or tent platform. Firepit for reasonable fires.

Lovely cottage on Autrain Lake near all of the sites to see in the area. Currently offered as B&B in our main cabin but homeowner will be in separate quarters. You will be in a private cabin. There are three bedroom areas upstairs with a full modern bath. One room Full bed, One room Queen bed, and the third is an open area with a privacy curtain and sitting area as well as a King bed. The living area has light seating area with a twin pull out loveseat, and two recliners. We have kayaks available for use. A small dock. There is some erosion on the bank we are currently working on but no beach, its in the process. Pets are allowed but please do not allow off leash or out of small fenced in area. All pet owners must clean up after your pets outside and if you leave for the day you are responsible for them. I recommend kennel trained as they act completely different and strange place. Ours are the same. Owner is around but can not watch pets as we work full time. I can check for a local teen to provide day care if requested. Breakfast foods will be supplied but there will no cooking provided. If you have special requests for breakfast foods please forward that information one week prior to arrival. We supply a crock pot, blender, drip coffee maker, and all the necessities to cook a meal at home. RV was clean and very well stocked on the inside. Interior looked brand new, and the campsite overlooked a pretty meadow surrounded by trees. Cute S'Mores bucket inside with everything you'd need. Convenient location, was able to do an evening hike to Mosquito Beach from this location. Why stay in a campground and spend thousands of dollars on your own RV when you can just stay here! Highly recommend Captain Ron's for fresh, hand-processed whitefish. Thanks Danielle!

This place/our cabin was perfect! We were impressed with how clean it was and the space was perfect for two adult couples, a baby, and our young daughter on the pull-out couch. They even had a pack and play for us when we arrived! The hosts were friendly and accommodating and there for anything we needed but also gave a lot of space and privacy. The campground is great too; the lakefront was beautiful and lots of different areas to sit and relax and enjoy. We would definitely come back!

The campground was clean and provided a very warm feeling. We were in Spot #38 and I think it was the very BEST spot to be in. We had a direct view of Indian Lake with no obstructions. We were able to park next to a platform deck which made getting into and out of our camper easier. The folks were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. In fact, another camper showed up after the office was closed. We were able to give them the phone number to call and they were able to get a spot to set up their tent. Bathrooms and showers were clean. There is also laundry service available. This is pet friendly as they accepted our dog with no issues.
