Hello and welcome!
I have a few areas on the property that You can use to suit your needs. you can tent camp or vehicle camp at some and park and walk about 100 feet or so and tent camp only. there is power and water available on the property but not at each site. I am developing this into a place for camping slowly and that's why i only have a few areas as of right now. Unfortunately, there are no bathrooms to use yet.
Update: gps for maps is in correct and takes to to neighbors driveway and home . The mail box for this place is blue and has a red address Tag and a sign that says Sailors Sky. Please turn immediately at mailbox. It has caused problems with having people on neighbors property with flashlights and police being called due to incorrect gsuspicious activity.

Located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the small town of Engadine. We are a few miles from Lake Michigan with the camp nesting beside the tranquil waters of Doe Creek. There is wildlife traveling through the property and at times make this their home.
This is a birding paradise for those birds migrating through and others building their nests and raising their babies here. Every spring is different those birds migrating, we see Indigo Bunting, Baltimore Oriole, Grosbeak and Bobolink. Occasionally we see just a flicker of color and wing and they are gone to another home. Actually nesting here are Hummingbirds, Cedar Waxwing and Sandhill Cranes, Every kind of Woodpecker is a daily sighting with the Pileated announcing his arrival that vibrates across the field and through the trees.
We are a hobby farm, we hay in July, garden during the summer and at times have a variety of farm animals. There is recreation galore including swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, hiking, and biking to name a few very familiar activities to this area.

Welcome to a rare Lake Superior sand beach property, overlooking Whitefish Bay. This partially wooded site, set back from the main road 250’, offers privacy while also being within the boundaries of the small community of Paradise. Restaurants, groceries and food trucks are a short walk away.
The beach or the stair’s viewing deck offer a great spot to watch the sun rise over the lake while having your morning brew. You can pick wild blueberries in July and August in the woods between your camper and the beach.

Hiking
For those looking for an easy stroll, the Dufour Creek Trail is a perfect place to go. There is little to no elevation gain on the trail. The path is on the shorter side, measuring in at 1.4 miles. The Dufour Creek Trail is generally well-kept, though there can be a few muddy sections when it rains. The path leads through a forest of hemlocks and cedars, fully wooded yet easy to follow. You may also get a glimpse of the native wildlife along the way.
Swimming
Perhaps the biggest feature of the entire park is the designated swimming beach. The beach remains very popular with guests, due in part to the clean, sandy shoreline as well as the vast, cordoned-off swimming area filled with shallower waters. There are restrooms and showers on site, which also have a reputation for being clean and well-kept.
Fishing
Indian Lake in Michigan features large swaths of underwater vegetation, making this area a great place for fishing. This is especially true if you are looking for panfish, as you can expect to see plenty of species like bluegill, crappie, and the like. However, there are plenty of other kinds of fish available, including Walleye, Perch, Brown trout, Rock bass, Smallmouth bass, and Northern pike. You’ll find plenty of opportunities to cast your line, whether on the shore or out on the water.
Boating
Getting out onto the lake can be a peaceful experience. You won’t feel cramped, even when sharing the lake with others as there is plenty of room for everyone. With clear water beneath you and great weather, boating at Indian Lake makes for a great pastime.The lake is fairly shallow, with 90% of the area being less than 15 ft deep. The deepest point is 18 ft. Owners of larger boats should keep this in mind when traversing the lake. If you are looking for water access for paddle sports such as kayaking, there is a carry-on access located at Indian Lake State Park at the Western Shore Unit.
Local Eats: One of the best ways to immerse yourself in the culture of a new place is to dive into the local foodie scene and Manistique will not disappoint. Here are a few of the best restaurants, pubs, and local eats in downtown Manistique.
- Clyde’s Drive-in - This local dive was straight out of the Movie Grease. Clyde’s has been a resident favorite for years. When you stop by, try some unique staples like the Bison Burger, a Big C Burger with Cheese, or a Pasty with gravy.
- Dairy Kream - This local ice cream shop is the perfect pitstop during your vacation to the waterfront district. Dairy Kream has a delectable menu of ice cream including 24 soft-serve flavors, shakes, malts, splits, flurries, and sundaes for every type of ice cream fanatic.

These yurts are located in a separate loop of Tiki RV Park. Each is dispersed about 100-300' apart and tucked into it's own set of trees, offering their own fire pit along with a picnic table, 2 Adirondack chairs, as well as a complimentary fire starter & bundle of wood.
Each yurt comes equipped with a pour-over coffee service (includes a hot water kettle, individual serve coffee, creamer & cups). This is the CUTEST (and cleanest) Hipcamp spot!! Friendly hosts, quiet spot, fun walking trail, cute signage indicating the different spots to camp and the trail, outhouse (small but clean!), etc. Highly recommend.

The stay was wonderful, very helpful on local activities! We stayed on site 10, which was a nice location. The only downside was there was little shade until late evening.
Everything else was great! I really appreciated the family dropping the firewood off at the site while we played cards. Site was clean, and everyone respected the quiet hours! You could barely hear a single car driving at night. Loudest part (and a highlight for me) was listening to the wildlife talking throughout the evening.
We will definitly be coming back to visit again in the fall hopefully!

Stephanie was a fantastic host, very friendly and knowledgeable. Campsite was as advertised, quite roomy as well, plenty of space and a fire ring. Having a picnic table was convenient as well. If you want an up close lakeside view, this is the hipcamp for you. Tammy is so welcoming and a angel on planet earth. We enjoyed ourselves so much here. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, and serene. She is so helpful and wonderful recommendationsfor the 4th of July weekend. She was a very attentive host, we didn't need a thing. We absolutely loved it here. There are paddle boats, a kayak, and plenty of fish. Book now, you won't regret it!

It was nice that Andy stopped in and introduced himself, making himself available for any needs we might have. The area is close to Grand Marias and if going back we will spend more time in the area. We did go looking for the uv rocks on that beach with some success and made for a fun evening . I would have liked to have fished the area.
I booked our camping trip late so we were limited on choices of campsites near the touristy areas. But it ended up being more centrally located to most sites we wanted to visit. If visiting Andy's I would recommend mosquito spray and infusers. Being July they were brutal. Not Andy's fault.
Out houses are what they are but they were clean. And were cleaned while we were there. I would not recommend the shower that has been provided. We did instead buy an annual pass to the state parks and took showers there. That was the bomb. Hot clean showers near our daily events.

A true hidden gem, the owner Chris "Hambone" was wonderful, very knowledgeable about the area, he gave many great suggestions about food and attractions, He helped us with directions a few times also.
The facility was clean and well maintained, the only issue our group had, Chris dropped what he was doing and fixed it immediately, a very attentive host.
This location is well placed in an area so that many attractions are very close, 4-wheeler/snowmobile trails are all around, many parks, and beaches only a short drive away.
Family friendly, definitely recommend, having a shower and flush toilet with the kids was very nice.

Amazing campsite! Cannot wait until we return, the care and effort that was put into the amenities here truly shows how much the owners care about the campgrounds. My wife said the women’s restrooms were very clean and well stocked, the men’s rooms were the same for my experience. The sculpture on the property really brings together all of the intention that was put behind making this place somewhere people want to spend time and make memories. We did not take advantage of the kayak and canoe rentals though they were well stocked also with several different options for various family sizes. Very pet friendly with a great on site shop and plenty of spaces to walk the pups nearby. Thank you Northland Outfitters!
