Talk about a beautiful spot on the lake! Our time was short but there were paddle boats and life jackets available for us to use. We will definitely be back for a longer stay with the kids next time. Tammy was absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed talking with her.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time camping here. Tammy was an incredible host, very kind and accommodating to us. The property is beautifully situated on the lake, which is perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. The campsites were well spaced out and maintained a level of privacy even with a few other campers staying at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had the best experience camping with Tammy! We were able to set our tent up right next to the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, using Tammy's paddleboat, swimming, kayaking, and sitting by the fire. Tammy is by far the best host I've ever had on Hipcamp. She was super fun to talk to and always super welcoming and accommodating. We had the perfect time staying here for 4th of July weekend.

Tammy was an amazing host! Really set the standard for hospitality!! Had a great shaded spot that overlooked the lake. Tammy brought over a fire pit as well. Provided kayaks to access the lake. Also made a fantastic breakfast with coffee in the morning! Highly recommend!!

Great host. Met upon arrival. We requested to be as close to water as possible and we were not disappointed. A little less private then what we are use to. It took a minute to adjust. About an hours drive to Pricture Rock and some great hiking trails. My 12 yo son loved it here. Super convenient to for all your needs and adventures. Very clean outhouse and free wood.

Reached out early if I needed any help getting to the site. Was greeted upon arrival. We had the site to ourselves which was nice. Its right next to the house and there's an outhouse too. The owner said we were welcome to use her paddle boat but we didn't have time to use it but appreciated the offer.

Tammy was such an amazing campsite host! With a spot right by the lake, the property was well-kept, lovely, and spacious enough to set up camp. While my partner and I were there it was particularly windy, so it was challenging to cook over a fire and the lake conditions weren’t ideal for kayaking. Tammy was so kind to offer us her grill to use, helped me refill the air in my tires, and was sweet to show us around the property. On the last day of our stay, it was particularly windy and stormy so Tammy offered the guest camper van to sleep in overnight. Upon morning, she sent us off with breakfast for the ride back. Quite the memorable trip and I’d be happy to recommend this spot to anyone!

My sister and I camped here and it was incredible. The space itself was beautiful, especially the lake and the stars. Beyond that, our host Tammy was exceptionally kind and welcoming. We'll definitely be back!

We loved Tammy's campsite right on the lake! Lake Milakokia was so peaceful and gorgeous. We were able to put our tents right next to the lake. We also were able to use kayaks provided by Tammy to explore the lake. There's also an awesome firepit for us to get a campfire going. Tammy greeted us and was so hospitable. I hope to come back someday!

Directions to camp site were very easy, beautiful views once you got there. I didn't realize how close the campsites were to the house, but it was such a nice location it wasn't a big deal. Host was amazing, very communicative.

Tammy’s place was very very small and not private at all. All of the sites she claims to have are not real. It’s just her 1/2 acre yard that you can put a tent up on. The neighbors driveway runs through her yard as well. Our first morning there Tammy decided to come out wearing nothing but a bathrobe just to say hello. After being told she only had one other single camper for the weekend our group (5 people) packed up and left the second day after we came back to camp and found 7 other adults camping on her property. She has one outhouse that obviously hadn’t been pumped out in some time. Save yourself some money and stay at a state park for $20/night. You’ll have more privacy and bathroom options

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. Between the absolutely incredible view of the lake, and the amazing hospitality of Tammy and Robert, we couldn't have found a better place! We would highly recommend this spot for anybody needing some peace and tranquility!

Lovely property right on lake. Beautiful views. Tammy was very accommodating. She provided suggestions for things to do in the area. She also has kayaks and a paddle boat for use on the lake. It was also great to be able to let our dog run.

We loved camping on Tammy’s land so much! I’m so happy I found her and didn’t end up in one of the larger park camping locations nearby where everyone is cramped together, because her place was the opposite! It was so quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Tammy was a fantastic host too. I’ve never tried hipcamp before so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but Tammy exceeded any expectations I may have had. She reached out right away after we reserved our spot, made sure we knew how to get there, greeted us on arrival, then showed us our perfect camp spot to set up with room for our trailer too. We slept like babies and woke up in the morning to the wind peacefully blowing through the trees and even a loon calling from the beautiful lake right next to us. Will definitely come back again! Thank you Tammy for everything!

Tammy was amazing! She was very welcoming and accommodating. Our cheap tent wasn't up to the task of resisting the wind gusts and Tammy offered up her 5th wheel camper for us to stay in. Not only did we have a generous host but also amazing views of the lake! The property has multiple sites to choose from, most of which are fairly level. Tent camping as close as 10' from the water!!

Absolutely gorgeous location. We arrived later than anticipated due to some transportation hiccups and Tammy was so accommodating and welcoming. The view is breathtaking. The hospitality is unmatched. Being able to have recommendations from a native of the area made the trip! We will be back and highly recommend. If you are thinking of booking, do it!

My boyfriend and I stayed a couple of days here and had the most relaxing time! Tammy was awesome, and so kind and accommodating! We got a tent spot right next to the water, and fell asleep and awoke to the most relaxing water sounds, we saw some fireflies through the top viewport of our tent as we star gazed, and overall had the best nights sleep. My only regret is only having a couple of days, as there were a lot of fun water things to do such as a little paddle boat, as well as a beach located near by—next time! ;) thank you Tammy for everything :)

Please come visit Tammy’s land! It is a beautiful area right next to the lake. We visited fourth of july weekend and as you can imagine it was very busy! My boyfriend and I had gotten away for the weekend with our dog and were not looking forward to socializing too much. Tammy was very accommodating in finding a spot for us to feel comfortable. Any host may have been annoyed with this request since we arrived the night of a holiday, but she was very understanding and you can tell how hard she was trying to find us the best spot possible. Tammy makes herself very available for her guests and has a great attitude. This is her first year experimenting with setting up a Hipcamp site and she is doing awesome!

This was my first time staying on Tammy’s property and I was blown away by her hospitality. I will admit, when I first arrived, I was expecting more structured campsites, like what you would see at a traditional campground, but that was not the case. The places to pitch a tent or park your camper or car are in the front, back, and side yards surrounding her cabin house (and in close proximity to the house). Although I was worried about privacy, I had plenty of space to experience the solo/independent trip I was hoping for, and because of the layout, I was able to connect with some of the other campers, share a communal fire, and create promising friendships. Tammy offered her guests to use her kayaks out on the lake, which was only feet away from our tents. I had my own kayak, but plenty of the other guests took her up on her offer and enjoyed a nice stroll out on the lake! Tammy has a HUGE heart and is willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible. She had plenty of other small surprises for me and her other guests to elevate our experience, which was very generous. I definitely recommend staying at Tammy’s, and I will be back because I really felt at home there ❤️.
