This is someone’s back yard. This is not private. There is no electrical hookup as we were instructed to hook up to another camper. There is no water hook up either. The photos are very deceiving and I was told by the owner that she would be refunding me and that hasn’t happened yet. This is from Labor Day weekend. I would absolutely NOT recommend this either. The guy we were instructed to chat with upon arrival was actually leaving the next day and considers himself a drifter who was clearly stoned off his rear end when we got there.

First off, the lake is stunningly beautiful, and it’s true that you can camp practically at the water’s edge. There is very little motorboat traffic on the lake, and what little there is are small fishing crafts, so the lake is friendly to swimmers and paddlers. Tammy is friendly, charismatic, and accommodating - we booked our site less than 6 hours in advance of our arrival, and Tammy met us at the turn-off by the highway to lead us to her land when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed using the tandem kayak provided at the property to watch the sunset from the water, and the area was quiet and serene at night with an amazing panorama of stars. Even the outhouse was cute and clean! One word of advice: don’t trust the address that you get with your booking email. There are GPS coordinates in the app that will guide you easily to the correct place, but the address did not (for us). You will not regret staying here!!

This was a great experience as a solo traveler. Tammy is very welcoming and friendly! The water here on the lake is very clear and warm still, even in early September. Definitely recommend! I will be back one day if I pass through here again! Thank you Tammy!

Fantastic location and Tammy is really amazing, a very accommodating hostess who really looks after you. Everything we needed for an overnight RV stay, which we ended up extending to a whole week. Beautiful lake views, wonderful cooling breeze, campfire facilities, and water and electric hookups without the hassle of crowded campsites. The water toys were an added bonus and the fishing was great, made for some nice dinners! Can’t wait to come back next year.
I can’t say enough good things about Tammy and her property! A fantastic view on a quiet lake offered by a friendly and communicative hostess. Every amenity is offered- from fresh water, electricity, and Starlink, to the tidiest of outhouses. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Tammy and her lake lot were amazing! My husband said her outhouse was the best outhouse he’d ever used! I got lost and she drove to find me!
My very first Hipcamp experience was wonderful! Tammy was there for me, making my visit great! I would highly recommend staying at the Weifenhamer Lodge complex. ☺️ The lake setting, brought peace at the end of a long day of travel! Tammy, thanks again!

Best camp ever. Tammy is so kind and welcoming. The property is absolutely beautiful and the fishing was spectacular.
If you want an up close lakeside view, this is the hipcamp for you. Tammy is so welcoming and a angel on planet earth. We enjoyed ourselves so much here. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, and serene. She is so helpful and wonderful recommendationsfor the 4th of July weekend. She was a very attentive host, we didn't need a thing. We absolutely loved it here. There are paddle boats, a kayak, and plenty of fish. Book now, you won't regret it!
Tammy’s property was beautiful and Tammy was very kind! The outhouse was clean and served its purpose. The lake was perfect for a few kayaking trips! Would definitely stay here again! Very quiet and peaceful. There are a few campsites on the same property, but it still felt pretty private!

Site is shared but steps away from the lake. Beautiful spot with glorious views and a serene vibe. The stars at night were breathtaking. With plenty of up north to explore. We loved our stay and Tammy is a lovely host.

Tenting at this site was a great time! My group of friends and I loved the outlook, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Tammy was very kind and was very helpful during our stay.
Tammy is a very nice lady.
She helped a fellow camper cover her gear when it started raining.
The fellow camper was not on site at the time.
She let me pick a spot best suited for my Jeep-top tent.
Beautiful lakefront view.
Will def stay again if needed.

This Hipcamp spot has all you need for a relaxing getaway. The view of the lake was beautiful and Tammy’s hospitality is unmatched. We had to unexpectedly cut our trip short because of a family emergency and Tammy was so compassionate.
The location is great. The huge fire pit was fun to sit around and the peace and quiet were exactly what I needed to celebrate my 45th Birthday. We will definitely be back.

Tent site was amazing, right on the water. Host was kind and helpful. The firepit was large and shared with other campers, firewood was readily available for no extra charge. If you are looking for a private/secluded experience this is not for you, but I have no complaints. The outhouse was clean and what I would expect for that type of facility. There was an electrical outlet available for use in the outhouse for charging your electronics. There were also pedal boats and kayaks available for use on the water. We had a great time!
Tammy’s property is absolutely beautiful! The tent site is right on the water, with gorgeous views that made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Tammy was such a kind and welcoming host, her hospitality didn’t go unnoticed and was genuinely appreciated. We especially loved having access to the kayaks and paddle boats on the lake. The only downside for us was that the campsite was a bit closer to the house than we expected, and it overlooked a neighboring porch, which took away from the secluded vibe we were hoping for. There’s no personal fire pit at the site, but there is a fire pit directly next to you by the beach area, but you do share with the campsite next to you. We didn't have a problem at all though, campfire general rules of course. If you're looking for a lakeside escape with a warm host and don’t mind being near a few other people, this is a great spot!
Talk about a beautiful spot on the lake! Our time was short but there were paddle boats and life jackets available for us to use. We will definitely be back for a longer stay with the kids next time. Tammy was absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed talking with her.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time camping here. Tammy was an incredible host, very kind and accommodating to us. The property is beautifully situated on the lake, which is perfect for swimming, kayaking, fishing etc. The campsites were well spaced out and maintained a level of privacy even with a few other campers staying at the same time. I would highly recommend staying here!

We had the best experience camping with Tammy! We were able to set our tent up right next to the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, using Tammy's paddleboat, swimming, kayaking, and sitting by the fire. Tammy is by far the best host I've ever had on Hipcamp. She was super fun to talk to and always super welcoming and accommodating. We had the perfect time staying here for 4th of July weekend.
Tammy was an amazing host! Really set the standard for hospitality!! Had a great shaded spot that overlooked the lake. Tammy brought over a fire pit as well. Provided kayaks to access the lake. Also made a fantastic breakfast with coffee in the morning! Highly recommend!!

Great host. Met upon arrival. We requested to be as close to water as possible and we were not disappointed. A little less private then what we are use to. It took a minute to adjust. About an hours drive to Pricture Rock and some great hiking trails. My 12 yo son loved it here. Super convenient to for all your needs and adventures. Very clean outhouse and free wood.

Reached out early if I needed any help getting to the site. Was greeted upon arrival. We had the site to ourselves which was nice. Its right next to the house and there's an outhouse too. The owner said we were welcome to use her paddle boat but we didn't have time to use it but appreciated the offer.
