What a beautiful spot!! Jessica was so kind and welcoming, and showed me around the property when I arrived. I was solo camping and felt totally safe. Also, if you're a bird lover, this is a GREAT spot for you. During my 9 day visit I saw and heard a wide variety of birds. Most notably, there was a hummingbird that regularly approached me to say hello. Swallows flew overhead multiple times, and I even saw a heron in the meadow past the trees. The wildflowers and poppies were absolutely gorgeous as well. It's also in a really convenient spot if you also want to check out Marquette or Munising while visiting. Both are a quick drive away, perfect for a day trip. The shelters were also very helpful as I wasn't feeling well part of my visit and needed to take it easy. I could see this spot being great for a family getaway as well. I will definitely be coming back here!!

Wonderful campsite and owners. We really enjoyed our stay and feel this place coincides with what the U.P. can offer: natural beauty, lots of space and a lot of privacy. We hope to return again.

This is a very special place with generous, thorough owners. There are a few small enclosed shelters next to the site if you need to ride out storms. Additionally, there was a shelter full of firewood to use for a donation. The site gives you tons of sky for an epic nighttime view but also enough shade to dampen the late summer sun. Despite hot days, our tent was never hot when we returned to the site in the early evening. To get to the location, you’re going to need to travel a couple miles of gravel road and then another half mile of dirt road. We managed the roads fine in a sedan. We visited in mid-July (dad and two kids). At all times, given the fact that it’s a private site (about a half mile away from the owner’s house), I felt safe and secure. We didn’t see or hear anyone else during our stay—aside from the distant howling of wildlife and the scatterings of birds in the trees. We would visit again!

Hands down one of the most beautiful Hipcamps we have been too. Gorgeous meadow in full bloom. Secluded and peaceful. Directions were easy to follow and our host was friendly and accommodating. There is even a bug shelter on site to use which is helpful because there were quite a few and a small cabin which we were allowed to use as well. This came in handy when the heat went up into the 90s. The cabin was cool and comfortable inside and allowed us to wait out the heat wave. Just a short drive into Munising and Marquette. We hiked the North Country Trail and hung out on the shores of Lake Superior. Kassel's general store just a short ride away for any needed supplies. Highly recommended and we will be booking again next year!

This is by far my favorite campsite ever. The screen building made sitting on a rainy day and watching the birds and nature a wonderful experience. The little shelter with the wood-burning stove came in very handy. The picnic table fire pit area is beautiful. I did not see or hear another person while we were there. The hosts were wonderful.

This was one of my favorite sites I’ve ever been to! The accommodations were perfect and the land was beautiful. Great starting point to visit pictured rock as well. The hosts were amazing as well! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the UP.

We couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and enjoyable stay at Hidden Meadow! From the gorgeous foliage to the northern lights on the property, everything was perfect during our stay. Jessica and her family were so welcoming and we loved all of the animals and even got to have some apples that were growing in the Meadow. The close proximity to Marquette and Pictured Rocks made getting around really easy.

This spot surprised us. We didn’t know what we were walking into. But it was better than we expected with a small cabin, plenty of wood, an outhouse and a bug shelter. The land is pretty wide open with a nice little area near the fire pit where there is a small wall of trees for a little coziness and place to spend most of your time. Super private and quiet. The grass is a little rough but we still enjoyed throwing a frisbee around. Jessica was friendly and helpful and a great hostess.

I loved staying at Jessica’s hidden meadow! My dogs roamed and my two kiddos loved playing and exploring the woods. The sunset view was amazing. I was able to truly disconnect. I parked my 20ft camper, it was a little hilly nothing a few levelers didn’t fix! 🌞🌾🪵
