Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us! The bird calls were nice, even heard a barred owl, an eagle flew overhead and a hummingbird stopped by for a visit. The beach is so clean and we found some yooperlites! The fire pit ring was best I've ever had the pleasure of burning a fire in. We will stay here again.

The very quick response time before checking in was extremely helpful as we were coming from NW Indiana. Madelin was such a great host on her own for our stay as the Mr. was under the weather. Perfect location between cities and recreational attractions we were wanting to visit. Nice property and the animals are fun!! Will have to come back when warmer to play disc golf!

There is only 1 site, so you have the area to yourself. Pellet grill, tables, and chairs are available for your use. It would make a great base camp for spending time in the central upper peninsula. We're adding in grass and other things, so I may be around putting in some work on the property, this wouldn't be anywhere near where you would be parked. This lot is large enough to accommodate a large camper/motor home and tow vehicle. Vehicles will need to be self contained as there is no bathroom of any kind on the site. A picnic table and a fire ring are also on-site. Monocle Lake boat launch is 2 miles away. Monocle Lake is an inland 146 acre lake that is great for fishing and water sports. Foot traffic public access to Monocle is a 4 minute walk away. This spot is also a 5 min. Walk away from public access to the beaches of Lake Superior. Walk the miles of beach to your hearts content. Iroquois Point light house is along the way. Spectical Lake overlook is merely 3.1 miles away on a county road legal for ORV's. The overlook is the gateway to the Hiawatha National Forest trails. This area has many activities for the outdoor enthusiast. Single Track hiking and mountain biking trails and northern lights if you are lucky enough to catch them on the beach of Superior. This campsite is along the U.S. Forest Service Whitefish Bay Scenic Byway. Make this spot your home away from home while touring all Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula has to offer. 50 miles to Tahquamenon Falls; 51 miles to Sheplers Mackinaw Island Ferry, St. Ignace; 23 miles to the Soo Locks; 6 miles to the Bay Mills Resort and Casino; 23 miles to the Kewadin Casino - Sault Ste. Marie, MI 33 miles to Kinsman Park - Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada; some of the best professionally built Mt. Bike trails in the Midwest. We are located in a quaint and quiet area of the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We currently have camping space available both for tents and camping with an RV. For animals we currently have 3 pigs, 12 chickens, a handful of ducks and 8 of the softest rabbits you will ever meet. We also have a husky named Lakota who is always on leash with us as well as 2 cats, one of which spends much of his time outside. Our hiking trails are open, and markers are being added. You are welcome to hike through our property on your own or we are always happy to join. Our disc golf course will be open with t pads and baskets once the ground is firm enough to get everything set up! In the years to come, our beautiful barn will become a venue for weddings as well as a suite and rentable rooms where you can stay. We’ll also be continuing to grow our family farm, orchard and of course our growing array of animals for you to visit. For guests we also have a community fire pit in our yard and host fires most nights that we have guests. We also have a sauna that we heat up many nights so feel to let us know if these things interest you.
