We arrived later in the evening than we had initially planned due to heavy traffic and construction on the Delaware Memorial Bridge. We had a great two-night stay in our 13 foot travel trailer here. We were at site #1 and chose the spot furthest back and it was perfect for us. I’m not an expert with the trailer but was able to position on a flat spot at Randy’s recommendation that gave us a nice view of the cornfields. It was very peaceful, we put the fire pits to use, and had a wonderful stay. It’s pretty local for us and we definitely would stay again.

Lots to like about the waterfront site, starting with the view. My family and another family spent the trip kayaking, lying in a hammock, and sitting by the fire. We only saw a few other people the whole time — all on small fishing boats and jet skis. The host was very communicative. The place wasn’t far from DC. Weekend Trip to Southern Camp

We had a great time here! The host was very kind and accommodating. She let us borrow her kayaks for the day to visit Mallow's Bay which was a total lifesaver! We only had our inflatable one and that would not have survived the shipwrecks. Unfortunately the pier has been damaged so we couldn't use it but it was still lovely staying right on the water.
