Welcome to Lulu's. Where you can get a little crazy under the moon or you can take in the peace and serenity of the stillness in the woods. Depends on what you are looking for! No neighbors to infringe on your ideal get away. The large cabin has a welcoming front porch to enjoy the amazing sunrises over Streaked Mtn. 100 acres of privacy to hike, watch wildlife and just relax. Cabin has outside facilities. Off the grid-no electric or running water. Cell service is adequate. 1 gallon of fresh well water provided for drinking and 10 gallons for washing/cooking.
Bring your own linens for a queen size bed, twin bunk beds and a full pull out couch. 2 pillows are supplied with a pillow protective cover and pillow case which are washed after each guest. Pots, pans and utensils, are onsite which are washed between campers; trash bags, compost bags, paper towels, dish soap, dish towels and a 2 burner propane stove(green canisters needed) and an older propane table top grill are provided. Camp fire grill on site if you prefer cooking over open flame. There are some battery operated light switches and solar lights in the camp and outhouse. Casino, race track and breweries for night life. Oxford Hills has much to offer.

The area is surrounded by lakes, ponds, state preserves, as well as in-town luxuries. The camp site can accommodate up to 6 people and 3 tents. RV's 20 feet or less are also welcome. Toad Hall is a heated, one room, 8x8 cabin in Harrison, Maine, with access to the Bear River for wading and swimming (depending on the river height.) There is a firepit at the cabin, along with one down by the river. Firewood is provided. The lower area by the river is a beautiful place to hang out, pitch hammocks etc... The cabin is near the road, which is great for loading in and loading out, but you will hear/see cars drive by. (Read our reviews, we stand by them!)
There is no running water or bathroom on the property so please bring a camping potty and do not bury human waste! The Bear River, which is a beautiful spot to swim and wade in, runs right through the property- but it's also drinking water and a protected watershed. Again, please make sure you have a camping potty plan.
Cabin Features: There are 2 cots inside, but also feel free to bring your own pads/bedding. There are solar lights inside, along with a USB plug to charge small devices. It is a clean, warm, dry room, with beautiful light and good ventilation with the windows cracked.
Nearby places you will like: We are within walking distance to downtown restaurants and public swimming area on Long Lake. There's also porto potties next to the walkable country store, which has everything you forgot to bring. Also a great ice cream shack, and an above-average watering hole, The Olde Mill Tavern.
This is a self check-in/out, so expect an easy arrival process (and we'll ask you to please leave the property prepared for the next guest to arrive.)

We also have a stocked fish pond a short walk through the woods to Agape Acres for your viewing enjoyment or a picnic.( no fishing on this pond ). There are a number of GREAT small bass ponds in our area just minutes away! Also, disc golf and 3 local trails- STREAKED MOUNTAIN TRAIL, PACKARD TRAIL, and the LOWELL TRAIL are within a 10 minute drive.
******RV campers will appreciate our 50 amp and 30 amp service options. Best of all, access to all amenities is included with your reservation, allowing you to fully enjoy your stay. We are off the beaten path in the forest near the White Mountain National Forest. A 6 to 8 minute hike from your site gets you to a private lake.
We have two local waterfalls only 2 miles away. Drive back out to 5 Kezars road. Take a right on the paved road. It will turn back into dirt. Keep on this road until you see a beautiful stone house on your left. Keep going just up the hill and you will see a right turn into the woods where you can park. There are no signs for Kezar gorge. Hike towards the sound of the falls. There is a small cave under the falls you can climb up into if you are a strong swimmer. There is a second set of falls if you hike down the river. A most magical spot for sure.

Virginia lake is in the White Mountain National forest and is only 6 miles ( a ten minute drive away) Sometimes you have to hike in a bit to get to the beach. Very private. Shallow beach is great for children and dogs.
Keewayden Lake Dam is a fun place to swim in a local lake. Only an 8 minute drive
Keoka lake has a nice beach with a dock to swim too. !0 minute drive

Campsite is held in a small, level clearing of gravel and grass. Surrounded on all sides by tall pines and an assortment of plant and animal life. For the bird watcher there are a multitude of birds in the area making themselves heard day and night. And for the naturalist plenty of indigenous flora to find and study. The site is also miles away from light pollution, so bring your telescope and scour the dark night sky. The White Mtn National Forest is about an hours drive with hundreds of trails. Plenty of lakes to choose from as well. Come gather friends and family or lone adventurer around the fire, enjoy a robust meal and recant the days adventure. Firewood sold on site(wood and kindling, $5 a bundle. Cash or venmo). There are no trash bins as this is a carry in carry out site and please do not burn up trash in the fire. There is a drywell and pit for releiving oneself. Nothing fancy but it works.

We camped at Art’s place during an unexpected heat wave. Art greeted us on arrival- we had the whole campground to ourselves- it was wonderful. He provided fresh spring water for drinking as well as a filter on the water spout. He recommended a nearby lake in Norway- we spent the day there and the water temperature was perfect. Note- the land is actually 1/4 mile past his residence and bike shop.

Toad Hall was great! Amazing place to stay in the fall/winter. Cozy for 2 people with provided cots & camping chairs! The heater and shelter from the rain was great. Hearing the creek water at night was relaxing. Mike was so nice and communicative! Would definitely stay here again!

Art was the best as a host... Responsive and so enthusiastic about his surroundings. The accomodations [up the hill for me] were clean and plentiful. Art even offered to open the cabin for me if I wished. Especially appreciated was the bottled water to refill my cantene as I did a lot of outside work in the sun...nice to know the water was so pure.
The sight is a bit close to the transfer station for my likes; however, for those in tents or the lovely little cabins up the hill this would not be a problem. Also not a problem at night and on the weekends.
Oxford County in Maine is my stomping grounds. I hope many of you will come and visit. You will love Agape!

This was a great spot right near the Long Lake public beach, within walking distance. The cabin was very clean and well kept. At the bottom of the small hill site was a second campsite with a teepee and hammock, next to the river. Very relaxing place to be! The only downside is the site is about 20 feet off of the main road, so some traffic noise. There is also a rooster cock-a-doodle-doo very early in the AM that lives next-door. Mike was a great host and we really appreciated all of the wood that was provided!

Arts land was awesome! We stopped for 1 night passing through town to check it out but we definitely plan to return. Art has tried to have anything and everything one might need, like a 50->30 amp adapter. We arrived late at night but Art met us there and made sure we got backed in okay. In the morning we walked up to check out the outpost and outdoor kitchen. Such a fun looking spot for a group of friends or family. Ours dogs loved the trails. Thanks for having us Art, we’ll be back!

We loved the Toad Hall cabin! My partner, dog and I went stayed for a night in June and it had everything we were looking for. The space was tidy, modern and thoughtful. Harrison is a perfect spot to go get into the outdoors and the cabin is located close enough to walk into town for dinner or ice cream. We will definitely be back again.

5 nights at AGAPE ACRES. / OUTPOST.
After primitive camping for 4 weeks, we camped at Agape Acres. We were treated like family from the first minute we met Art. The sites were clean and neat. He brought us a big bottle of spring water and firewood as needed. We had electricity!
He took us up the hill to the primitive sites, where we found heated showers, a flush toilet and a screened-in cabin we used on a rainy day to play games.
All trails are clearly marked and the attention to detail was amazing. We spent time with the host couple and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
