We like to interact with people or you can keep to yourself and have a quiet getaway in the woods. Sorry, but the tree house isn't available to rent since it is my home. We are on a solar powered, off the grid 30 acre homestead that has 24 acres of wooded land and 6 acres of groomed land. Come explore our land and relax in the "Tree Web", see the 2 story tree house that I live in, have fun on the tire swing, or just sit and enjoy all that nature has to offer. You can explore our interesting topography that has close to 100 foot of elevation changes, our (mostly) dry creek system that starts with 2 springs that drain into 3 sinkholes or walk 3 miles of trails (if you follow each trail from end to end).
We love groups - Host your event here or have a group gathering with all your friends and family. We have spaces large enough to host hundreds of people.
We welcome pets for camping, but no pets allow in the Camping Cabin. Also be aware that we have 2 friendly dogs on the land that roam freely.

Create your own family tradition in this campsite that is ready for two campers on a total of 160ft gravel space. There is both 30 and 50 AMP electric, however no water or sewer hookup. You must provide your own water. There is a dump station 5 miles from the campsite at Tipsaw Recreation Area.

Our cabins have AC/Heat. A dry sink are in each cabin are provided. Roast hotdogs over your private fire pit as

This campsite was perfect for my needs. It was private, behind a locked gate, within a doordasher delivery zone, near a good place to get a good breakfast (Christie's café, excellent meat lovers omelet. A little noisy at night, As Shelby disliked. But ya can't really beat being within Louisville, while still being in a secluded site, for the price. I'll probably return.

Amazing distance to everything we came to do with doing holiday world we weren’t at the campsite a ton but that’s what makes the cost so great because we really enjoyed space even with how little at all time we were there! Host was super helpful and nice! Even with us having to move our dates a little because of a funeral he was every accommodating!

Hosting a birthday party was an ease thanks to Kerry’s spacious and secluded land, and his expert hosting skills.
I personally love the big pooch that comes by to greet campers, and Kerry even gave some homemade syrup as a birthday gift. Our crew of 10 felt right at home, we will be back!

Would definitely stay here again! It’s clear the hosts care about their land and this spot. I was only here for a quick night during a roadtrip but would love to come back for a long weekend. Easy to find. Cell service was great. The sunset behind the pond was gorgeous. And there’s a ton of room to walk around the property for some exercise/something to do.
Note: A neighboring house was playing loud music/karaoke for several hours during my stay, but they stopped right at 10pm. And thankfully they had good taste in music 😏 Just something to note if you’re looking for guaranteed quiet.

Very spacious campground down on the river! There is plenty of space and privacy between sites if you want it, but the owners are incredibly gracious and offered extra firewood as needed, and even had their own bonfire open to guests. The grounds were really well kept, all mowed grass no overgrown or dirty areas. We will be back!

This was our third time staying at this site. The weather was beautiful. The hosts were as gracious as always. We always have an amazing time and we love introducing new friends to this hidden gem. It’s an easy drive from Louisville or Cincinnati. It has everything you need. The beach was a little muddy in spots, but Scott went down on Saturday and laid out cardboard so we could get to the rocky area of Beach without getting our shoes muddy. We enjoyed the afternoon with our feet in the water of the river. Everything was fabulous and we will come again.

Stayed at black walnut and it felt very secluded. I didn’t hear or see anyone else during my stay. The gate made me feel very comfortable. I was a bit worried I wouldn’t have cell service but I had great connection. As a light sleeper, the train and helicopters and passing cars were a bit loud, but overall this was a good spot to spend the night.
