Onsite there are wide, easy strolling paths, a growing number of single-track hiking trails, open fields, and forest. And if not booked, a historic log home to explore and do some porch sitting. Our 22 acre property is perfect for people who want to get away. There is only one house visible from ours. Its very quiet and secluded. We offer 50amp service, water hookup and dump station if needed. There is WIFI also available for RV Campers (we are in the country so it is what it is). There are 2 sites. One in the woods for tent campers and one up above for RV campers. We do not have showers or bathrooms for campers. The Big Blue River boarders the whole property. We also have just put in a new out house and have a port-a-potty for our campers to use. We are 10 minutes from Interstate 70 and only 30 minutes from Indianapolis. Teri and Mike have done a fantastic job here! Things are even better than expected from the online description and the welcome kit was a pleasant surprise. The sites are well laid out with plenty of privacy. Great star gazing here, and I saw deer several times. This was my first time camping here, but I hope to be back again next season.

This was such a peaceful spot — I had the whole place to myself! Communication with the host was quick and easy, and they were very helpful. I’d definitely recommend arriving during the day, as the driveway can be a little tricky to spot at night and it’s fairly steep. Georgous place! Perfect place to relax and unwind. We stayed here in October and enjoyed the fall colors on the Ohio River which were beautiful. The sites are perfect for boat and barge watching. Randy is super. He was attentive to all our needs. This is my new favorite campground. We will be back.

A perfect quiet and secluded spot by the pond! We loved that Jake met us as we arrived and got us situated with wood and other amenities. We even forgot coffee and reached out and Joni brought us some for the morning. Having the pond and boats added to the experience and my husband caught some beautiful bass. The children and I loved the land and the trails of fields and forest. Will go back again

Weekend Trip to Away at Green Hill

The campsites were great, we rented two sites and had the whole place to ourselves. Hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful place to stay, trails were great for kids, cabin was neat to explore, outhouse was better than most. Kids loved the trampoline at the Open Sky site. Great time overall, will be going back again!

Weekend Trip to A Notch Above-RV Riverside Campsite

We had an amazing time at A Notch Above. It was us and our friends at the site next to us. It was perfect for buddy camping. We had sites 2 and 3. Our campers faced the river and ir was a beautiful view. We were fortunate enough to see multiple bald eagles and many other birds. Watching the different barges and boats mo e up and down the river was another nice thing about camping at Randy's place. Randy is a very nice, helpful host. I would definitely recommend A Notch Above if you are looking for scenic views and relaxation.

What a great location and beautiful site. The entrance looks tricky but worked out perfectly. We enjoyed the river, bardges, bald eagles and looking at the stars. Some things to note the road behind you is close and there is some road noise but it didn't bother us. There is a porta potty on site in the middle but it was clean and did not smell. Randy was available when needed and even checked in to make sure we arrived ok. Will return

The site was very level and spacious. The firepit was located right by the river. We sat there every night with a fire and watched the barges go by. My only negative was the septic hookup. I have never delt with one that was sideways out of the ground. It backed up and leaked gray tank water all over so I was not able to completely empty my tank.

1 night at Away at Green Hill

High and dry. Mostly level site and surrounded by trees. Fire pit and picnic table. Very private. A very short walk to the toilet. A nice Welcome Kit provided. Firewood available. There is an incline at the site entrance. Although there was a light rain, my Kia Telluride had no problems making it up the hill. Teri and Mike were outstanding hosts and had the site ready to go. Communication was excellent. I’ve already made my next reservation for October!

Weekend Trip to Marick Acres

Mary and Rick were such sweet, attentive hosts! My family and I loved camping here. It was peaceful, beautiful, and secluded, and our dogs really enjoyed running around. I can't wait to go back! P.S. The chocolate chip cookies were such a thoughtful touch! Thanks for everything!
