Our beautiful 1800’s cabin was moved to the property in the 1970’s by a former neighbor who owned the property at the time. The same neighbor also had a historic train depot moved to the property where she sold antiques out of for several years. It is not sure what the cabin was used for at that time but it certainly added charm to the antique store property. When we acquired the property years later, the cabin was in need of work. It sat for a few years until we decided to restore this lovely cabin back to it’s beautiful charm and character. Jim spent a couple years on the project working in his free time and added the porch using old wood in keeping with the natural look and feel of the cabin as well as some interior areas. Upon completion, we opened the cabin as a gift shop selling unique items including antiques, primitives and decor for a few years. We decided to transition the cabin into a place of retreat for traveling guests and still keep some of the goods we sold in the shop available for purchase. We hope that you find the cabin and property a place of peace and tranquility and will want to return. Whether passing through for a night or a few days stay, you’re always welcome in our neck of the woods. We mow trails for hiking feel free to explore, if you run into a cornfield it's not our property. We have an outhouse for tent campers And water is available by campsite 1 and we have portable idc tote with city water. We also have 3 indoor/outdoor cats, they like to visit the campground. The barn/bar is adorable and Richard was very friendly and helpful. Camping down the Ridgeline and along the dirt road seemed like it would not be my cup of tea, but in fact, it was very private and very spread apart. I would definitely camp there again! We enjoyed music both evenings and the food at the barn was delicious. I would love if they had a few more choices on the menu.

A perfect quiet and secluded spot by the pond! We loved that Jake met us as we arrived and got us situated with wood and other amenities. We even forgot coffee and reached out and Joni brought us some for the morning. Having the pond and boats added to the experience and my husband caught some beautiful bass. The children and I loved the land and the trails of fields and forest. Will go back again

The campsites were great, we rented two sites and had the whole place to ourselves. Hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. Beautiful place to stay, trails were great for kids, cabin was neat to explore, outhouse was better than most. Kids loved the trampoline at the Open Sky site. Great time overall, will be going back again!

High and dry. Mostly level site and surrounded by trees. Fire pit and picnic table. Very private. A very short walk to the toilet. A nice Welcome Kit provided. Firewood available. There is an incline at the site entrance. Although there was a light rain, my Kia Telluride had no problems making it up the hill. Teri and Mike were outstanding hosts and had the site ready to go. Communication was excellent. I’ve already made my next reservation for October!

We had a group of 10 with 3 tents and it worked out wonderfully! It’s close enough to Cinci for a one night trip and far enough away to be quiet and see the stars. There was a live band the night we were there that we could hear very well from our site. I advise checking the music schedule before booking! Will definitely book again! We all had a great time!

We LOVE staying at Joni & Jake’s! This is our 2nd trip to their property. The property is stunning with connecting trails to other campsites. This was super beneficial as we had our other family members camping at their nearby site making commuting back and forth super easy! Access to the ponds and fishing is the perfect extra bonus. The paths are well managed and clean with fresh cut grass. The multiple outhouses & water spickets are well kept up and much needed!! Joni is very quick to respond via the app & helped us with all necessary questions. Would love to come back for a 3rd time!!
