While driving from Wisconsin to the smoky mountains me and hubby were going to stay in a hotel, but hubby said let’s look for a spot to camp no clue where to stay. This is a nice spot. Well kept and easy to find campsites. It’s especially good if you like trains and airplanes. The proximity to the railroad and Louisville airport means there are low flying planes and some trains going by. I didn’t mind, and it’s certainly no fault of the host, but it’s something to be considered. Had a good time and would recommend to others.

We had a really wonderful camping experience. The red door cabin was clean, big, and very comfortable, with both AC and heating. The bathrooms were also clean and well maintained. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Our kids had a lot of fun time with pet horses! Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing stay, and we will for sure come back again 😊

Great open space that lets you be off grid while in Louisville! I did not use the showers, but the camp sink with running water was so useful as was the power hookup to keep my cell phone running. It reminded me of campouts in the backyard as a kid, and I would definitely come back. George and Erin are easy to communicate with and their space is great for a weekend away to let go and sleep under the stars.
