Fire pit creek side

What a great spot. Very private and a perfect place to camp. The site is sat between 2 creeks and our young boys (2 and 4) absolutely loved exploring every bit of it. The hosts were very nice and provided firewood! Will definitely be coming back.

Campfire under the stars!

We arrived at sunset, it was a beautiful drive and the site was really nice. The driveway was a little rough as explained in the summary, but we drove slow and were able to navigate it pretty easily in our kia soul. There was a nice firepit and large logs to burn; and the stars out there were amazing! It's a little far out, but there is a dollar general close by and a walmart only abt 15min away near an interstate. Would stay here again!

Shaded, private and pretty!

The good! It was a wonderful camp spot! Completely private (unless someone drives by on the driveway, but we only had one person do that), and so shaded it felt like it dropped 20 degrees! Perfectly lovely camping spot! The bad. The driveway - Once you leave the road, you will turn left onto a steep, long, gravel driveway. If you are pulling a travel trailer (even a small one like we were), you won't have a good way to turn around once on this driveway so DO NOT attempt this hill with an RV unless you have a proper braking system installed for your RV. Also, do not attempt this hill with a two-wheel drive if you are pulling an RV, even a small RV. We got stuck going back up the driveway when leaving because we only had a two-wheel drive (it even has a V8 bus-size engine), and had to have our small travel trailer pulled out. The bridge - At the bottom of the driveway is a concrete bridge. The entrance and exit to the bridge has a decently steep embankment. I thought we would be fine because our small RV has off-road tires, allowing the RV to sit up high off the ground, but upon leaving, we scrapped the bottom, slightly damaging the bottom of our RV. In order to continue forward, we had to place large rocks from the creek under the RV tires a few times to get it to the level of the bridge without damaging it further. I would go and stay there again, but this time, I would just bring my car with a tent. It's a lovely tent camping spot!

This place checked all the boxed for us. I brought my 7 yo here and he was able to play in the creek and catch crawdads while I set up camp. Then, I helped him catch some crawdads, and we eventually took a dip in the bigger creek, which was refreshing on a very hot day. The site was also shady and private--you can see a house up on a hill if you walk onto the bridge, but it isn't close enough to see people clearly. The host was very responsive. Remember to turn your phone off of roaming (or heck, just turn it off), as it will drain the battery when you are in camp. I got service once I was back up on the road. I would come back here again, for sure.

Son's 1st Camp Weekend...Success!!

Absolutely LOVED our camp weekend at sole tribe acres! This was my son's (2 years old) first camping experience and he had a blast. Alexa and her husband provided loads of firewood for the fire pit. We loved the privacy of the location while not being too remote n and Alexa was so responsive. We can't wait to come back in the spring!

Beautiful rolling hills

Beautiful property in a beautiful area of rolling hills. The kids played soccer in a large open field, we enjoyed the privacy, and nature. The proprietor brought us firewood and a fire ring for a campfire next to the creek. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others.

We stayed at site #2 and it was fantastic! Shaded spot right next to the creek. The hosts were very gracious and introduced themselves, ensured we were settled in, and respected our privacy. I would not take a camper over 25 feet though, my husband was able to maneuver his way around but the turn directly after the first bridge is tight. Great spot for boondocking, seclusion and tranquillity. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay!

Gorgeous campsite right next to a creek bed. Our set up was nestled in between hills with a wide creek bed running through it. It was dry, so my daughter and I were able to walk around on it and enjoy the falling leaves and gorgeous woodland views. Super beautiful surroundings with an easy drive from I-64. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it for others!

We loved this location. Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful, private. We were given tons of privacy from the owners but they were super helpful with all our questions and very quick to respond. Our camp site was beautiful, with plenty of space and freedom to explore and forage the grounds. Saw a fox and some deer on our walk. And all the stars at night. Will definitely be back!

The site itself was quite beautiful, spacious and well kept. The firewood provided was covered and ready to use. The site felt very private and peaceful. The driveway getting to the site isn’t made for small cars, so keep that in mind. Otherwise- perfect spot if you’re trying to primitive camp.

Really nice spot! It’s hard to find decent camping between Lexington and Louisville but this fit the bill and felt decently secluded. Host was quick to respond and communication was good. There was plenty of firewood and the husband (I believe) told us to just let him know if we needed more. We stayed in site 2 which was great as well.

Great time and great campsite. Everything was as advertised. We chose site 2 and I think we chose well, it seemed to be the better of the 3. Felt secluded enough that you scratched the outdoor itch but not actually secluded if that’s a concern of yours. There were 4 of us total with 4 dogs and we had plenty of space. We brought our own firewood but the hosts actually provided some of their own firewood which was nice. Overall, would recommend.

Great, But Be Warned!

Overall, lovely. Quiet. Lush. Hosts called to check on me. But getting in and out can be a problem. I was in a 25' Class C RV. When they accept your reservation, you'll get an E-mail about the "steep" gravel road off the main road. Don't worry about that. It's not that steep. Shouldn't be an issue unless there's snow or ice. But the bridge(s) ... They say be careful. Here's what you need to know. Campsite 1 is easy to get to and in an open field. Wide open space and sun. Campsite 2 is just over a bridge and next to a creek. Includes a nice fire pit. Wood was provided. Entire site was lush mowed grass and tucked into tall trees. Gorgeous. Some leveling might be required in an RV. Creek was dry when I was there, but still a great experience! I didn't see campsite 3 or bridge #2. Heres' my warning ... The abrupt (albeit short) incline immediately on the other side of bridge #1 to campsites 2 and 3 includes large holes and boulder(s) you'll have to get over. I bottomed out and scraped the underside of my (brand new) rig pretty severely. The narrow bridge, gate posts, and other terrain right there made avoiding these obstacles impossible. Surprisingly, everything under my rig seems intact. But that trailer receiver's not pretty! They say up to a 40' rig can get in there ... Sure, if you're just going to campsite 1 in the open field. But anything that's low to the ground or long-ish is going to have issues going further unless they fix that area.

This was a beautiful property and site #2 was great! The small creek alongside the campsite was all dried up but we took a little dip into the bigger creek. Easy directions and very pretty.

Convenient camping spot!

We truly had the best time here. The location was absolutely gorgeous. Not too far off the road but far enough that it feels completely secluded. We camped out next to the creek and enjoyed the views on every side. Plenty of wood was provided for the fire pit. We explored the creek and looked for crawdads. We saw deer around us. In the morning, we heard the cows from a nearby farm and the howling of coyotes. It was great to get away from the city and enjoy the nature around us in such a scenic location. We will definitely be back in the future!!

Campsite #2 was wonderful and Alexa was very helpful when my car battery died shortly before checkout. The site is perfectly shaded by a canopy of tress but still has a view of the night sky and a view of a field lit up by fireflies. We enjoyed exploring the creek. The site is extremely private (you can't see the road or houses) but not isolated (it is not in the middle of nowhere).
