My partner and I were only able to get away for one night, but we were incredibly happy with Michael's site. We did have a little challenge with finding the correct spot--not due to the directions; the directions were clear and simple! What wasn't clear was whether I was in the right spot for me to begin following the directions. So, my advice would be, follow the directions even if you do not see tire tracks heading that way; that's what threw me off. Michael was quick to respond, and we got on track within minutes.
Anyway, we had a hilltop site with plenty of space. If the weather had not been windy and rainy, we honestly would have loved every second of it. However, there were no trees next to the site to help reduce the wind (35 mph gusts), so our campfire and propane cooking stove suffered a bit.
We took a couple of walks around the land, and it really was a very pretty space. We saw quite a bit of hunting equipment set up along our walk (tree stands, deer feeders, and trail cameras), which made us excited to see some deer. Sure enough, we saw two just about 100 yards away from us shortly after noticing the equipment which was a very fun experience.
I really see us returning in the future, hopefully with some better weather. Thank you, Michael!
