Great communication! Cute environment. Stayed in our teardrop camper, so didn't use bathroom or shower provided. Totally recommend Harkness Edwards Winery not too far from there!

What a day (or night)…in KY

The space was as described, complete with howling coyotes, raccoons the size of small toddlers and severed heads (not real!) on sticks at one site that was adjacent to us that starkly contrasted with the theme of Happy Days…. but we did leave in a bit of a daze after a cold night spent sleeping here under the stars! Bonus points for the beautiful yellow fungi growing out of the picnic table and traffic/train sounds throughout the night 🥴

First Camping Trip — Perfect Spot!

This little mom-and-pop campground was an absolute gem and the perfect place for my son’s very first camping adventure. From the moment we pulled in, it felt welcoming — quiet, clean, and full of small-town charm. You can tell the owners truly care about their guests and take pride in keeping the place beautiful and family-friendly. The campsite itself was just right — well-spaced, tidy, and surrounded by peaceful scenery. My son loved exploring the area, helping set up the tent, and roasting marshmallows by the fire. At night, the stars were bright and clear, and in the morning we woke up to birds singing and the smell of the woods — it felt like stepping back to simpler times. And I have to mention the cute little cookie shop out front — what a treat! It added such a special touch to the whole experience. We stopped in for a few cookies before heading home, and it was the sweetest way to end our trip. If you’re looking for a place that feels personal, peaceful, and run with genuine heart, this is it. We’ll definitely be coming back for another weekend under the stars.

My first Hipcamp experience, not my last. Natalie was very responsive, which was fabulous, since I erased the address on my email....eek! I arrived in the rainy darkness but convenient luminescent signs directed me to my campsite easily. Beautiful and quiet, lulled by crickets, I passed a lovely night in this affordable convenient waystation. THanks Natalie! Ps, there are a few train sounds, but I like trains.

I Love Lucy Glamping

We had a lovely stay. The camper was super cute. It was super easy to check in and out, and Natalie was extremely responsive. Close enough to town to find food or necessities if needed. Would recommend.

Great little private campground

Great little campground. Not too far from the highway but feels like "in the country". Beautiful views. I tent camped and it was a good spot. The themed campers look really cute and each is in a relatively private area. Primitive shower and bathroom but definitely a good value for the $.

This is a well cared for, quality site, when traveling through and you need a convenient place to stay. As a veteran hip-camper, I've come to the realization that unless you want to be 20 miles or more off the route your traveling, you're going to experience some road noise, but by the time I was ready to hunker down and sleep it was quite manageable. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I happen to pass this way again.

Beary comfy is very Comfy & Cute

Our family stayed 3 nights and enjoyed our time together at the Beary Comfy RV. The RV was adorable and made my kids feel at home. 4 adults would be a tight fit. I would say this is more for 2 adults or 1 adult and a few kids. We had a fridge, a stove top, Air conditioning and loved having the pac man arcade!! I was so thankful for the bathroom, but the smell was very intense, but perhaps we were there right before it was cleaned out? I enjoyed having a shower& bathroom to use. Thank you Natalie, we love your creativity and hope to visit again.

4th of July Getaway

We had a great time! The camper is cute and cozy. The place is just outside of town and the neighbors put on an amazing firework show for the 4th of July! The beds were comfortable but had there been 4 of us, probably not so comfortable in space. The coffee maker was a lifesaver in the morning. The hot plate didn’t work but that wasn’t a big deal as the fridge and a/c did exceptionally well. :) We were extremely grateful for the a/c being on prior to our arrival as it was a hot summer day. Outdoors we played the ladder game they had set up and roasted s’mores at our campfire. Be careful throwing your trash away outside prior to departing as the raccoons got ahold of ours and made a mess. We did not use the outdoor shower but it looked operational. The outhouse could use some work as the floor felt like it was going to collapse beneath our feet. All in all, the site was good. I think if the outhouse had been in better condition it would be an excellent site. Still a five star stay though as we enjoyed ourselves and will likely visit again.

Camping with FRIENDS!

We had a small issue with the a/c not working but the host was quick to resolve it and moved us to a different trailer. The communication was excellent and we still had a great time. It was a very hot day when we arrived in the afternoon so having the a/c on and a couple cold sodas in the fridge was a really nice touch. This was the perfect home base for us to explore Winchester, Mount Sterling, and Jump Rock in the gorge.

This was our first HipCamp experience and we had a great weekend! The themed trailers were very cute and it was so nice to have a/c during the hot summer but still feel like your camping. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the hosts are cool VW people so we felt right at home.

I Love Lucy Glamping

My daughter and I stayed for a night on our way home from vacation. The I Love Lucy camper was private and had beautiful views and skies. The video to convert the bed was super simple and we had everything we needed. Beautiful county but not far off of the interstate. I’ll keep it in mind to break up tdrives in the future!
