While staying with us you can opt to take a guided food forest tour, as well as take the opportunity to help with or observe current projects going on at the farm. You can also enjoy swimming on-site. Offsite you can head nearby to enjoy swimming, walking, fishing, boating, live music, restaurants. We are only 10 minutes from Fellsmere and 20 minutes from Sebastian. There are plenty of parks and fishing spots nearby as well as the beach so there is always something to do within a 10-45 minute drive. Your hosts live onsite and we will plan to greet campers and give a brief tour, as this is a growing food forest there may be areas that are sensitive to foot traffic. Our favorite things about this property are the amazing skies both at dawn and dusk, as well as night stargazing. We have great birdwatching as well. Please reach out at any time with questions or concerns. About the listing Our listing is for a campsite that accommodates tents or an RV or camper van up to 45ft. If you do bring a camper keep in mind our sites are pull in only with no hookups (dry camping) and they will require some leveling. Generators are also not allowed. Amenities listed below: -There is a shared fire pit available -There is potable water via a spigot -Good cell service for most carriers, no wifi -Shared composting toilet onsite -Pets are allowed -Wheelchair access is possible Additional details to note Please check in at least 2 hours before sunset so that you can can find the toilet and know where the sensitive growing areas are. Please plan ahead. Check in is after 11am and check out is before 11am. Please no wandering from the campsites after dark, so that no protected plants are stepped on accidentally. Pets must be kept under control so they do not destroy garden and food forest areas. Pets will have to be leashed at the first sign of destructive behavior, no exceptions. Irrigation Ditch: There’s an irrigation ditch running through the middle of the campsite, so please be cautious when driving in. Be sure to stay to the right side to avoid any trouble. 2. Mosquito Tips: The mosquitoes can be pretty intense, so I recommend bringing a Thermacell or two and any other mosquito repellent you prefer. When I camped, I kept a Thermacell inside my tent, which worked great to keep them out. Outside, even with two tiki torches, a fire, and a Thermacell, they were still landing on me. A heavy-duty Thermacell might be your best bet. Long sleeves and pants also helped a lot! 3. Site Updates: There’s been some growth at the site since I first listed it on Hipcamp. The back area is still clear, but the middle front section needs mowing. Keep this in mind when setting up your campsite. Also bring firewood. Sometimes there is firewood at the gas stations off the turnpike but it is expensive. Also, there is a subway right off the turnpike if you’re in a crunch for a quick meal

It is unique because the surrounding area does not have much tree coverage. This is due to the ground underneath, which is a vein of grey marl. This is why the area is called the Allapattah (an Indian word for Alligator) Flats. We are hoping that our county stays the way it is so people will know what Old Florida really looks like. Minutes from I-95, but surrounded by the Allapattah Flats Wildlife Management Preserve. Located on Martin Hwy, which was recently designated as a Florida Scenic Hwy. Fifteen minutes to Stuart and thirty minutes to West Palm Beach, a world away from the hustle and bustle. Also, take time to fish in our pond and catch some tilapia or blue gill. The kids have a blast fishing as the fish are easy to catch. THE SPACE: The site you'll be staying at is close to the owners house. There are 2 parking spots on asphalt that are available for the campers vehicles or park directly at your site. The ground will be grass that the camper will park on. Please note: we have 2 gates with gate codes that shut automatically. Please be sure each gate closes behind you! We have free roaming cattle and other farm animals outside the camping area. We are always open to recommendations on how we can make your stay even better! While we are familiar with the joy of camping with children, we are an adult destination and an agricultural working farm and are not ideal for guests camping with children. We ask that children remain in campsite area and in direct supervision of adults at all times. Camping Amenities: Upgraded Sites Available, Access to Potable Water fill., Dumpster/Recycling Bins, Late, after-hours check-ins are available, please inquire if needed. Upgraded Sites include: Power, Water, and Dump Station Access, and pad for RV. We reserve upgraded sites up to 6 months in advance and can be quite busy in season Jan-April. If you would like an upgraded site, please contact us ahead of your stay, to check availability and to reserve. Live Music Events Weekly – If you would like to attend a music event on your checkout date and would like to leave afterwards, please inquire for options. Amenities - Tasting Room & Gift Shop with Award-winning Muscadine & fruit wine and a Campers Supply shopping corner. "Take a book leave a book" box, Camper supply cabinet "take what you need and leave what you don’t". Festival Area with Lawn games, a Disc Golf Course through the vineyard, Pond, "Dock" and Picnic Pavilion with tables with seating for up to 24, charcoal BBQ grill, community firepit and fishing dock!! Small above ground fire pits allowed. We offer a nightly fire pit rental and firewood and ice are available for purchase. We are a 36 acre working farm, as well as a well-known live music entertainment venue. The weekends can be busy, especially in season with our more popular events. If live music and other campers here are not a fit for you, we recommend visiting us on a weekday or off-season. But please know the camp sites are far from music stage, pavilion, and festival area, and the music is usually ONLY during the afternoons and over by 4pm, so the evenings are quiet. Many of our HH customers come back several times a year for our weekend entertainment. Since we are a working farm property, there may be farm activity early some mornings, usually weekdays. Pine Tree Paradise

Learn more about this land: Bring your RV (class B or C up to 25", trailers up to 16') to our wooded property next to a private residence with a pool, patio, and firepit. We have one site that can accommodate up to two guests. No pets, children or smoking. Check in between 2pm and Sunset. Check out 11:00. Enjoy bird-watching in the winter – we have a feeder and birdbath. There’s plenty to explore in the area. The property provides water, 30amp electric and free Wifi. A dump station and laundry are near by. Generators are not allowed. The back-in site can fit up to 25' foot R/V (Class B or C) or a 16' trailer (no longer) on a flat gravel surface. Groceries, restaurants, and services can be found within 2 miles in the town of Sebastian. The beach is a 10-mile drive, but you can get to the Indian River waterfront at Riverview Park in 2.5 miles. Nearby parks and refuges include Sebastian Inlet State Park, where you can fish or surf, St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park, where there are 60 miles of trails and Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge, home to the first NWR in the US. Vero Beach is about 15 miles South and Melbourne is about 20 miles North.
