Nice spacious lots. Clubhouse with swimming pool. You can bring your golf cart or side by side. They have airboat rides, restaurant and store with reasonable prices, ice $3.

The campsite was great. Electric was a wonderful plus. Easy to get in and out. Very close to Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge. Perfect.

Very nice spot, easy to find and a comfortable place to stay. Less then an hour from cape canaveral and cocoa beach! Very little traffic noise 👍🏻 would stay again!

There aren't words enough to explain the amazing vibe of this place.....just book a site. We recommend the Tikka masala add on. Beautifully done 4 course meal, fine dinning meal in a laid back casual setting with one of a kind hosts! Kudos Christina and Kennedy can't wait to return for a 3 retreat!

Weekend Trip to Camp Shiloh

Love this campsite! If you are not confident you can go camping in a tent but want to try, this is the spot for you! Includes electric and bathrooms and firewood and chairs. The place is private and cozy and clean.

The host's were very kind and understanding. The site is clean and they supply you with wood. I hope they can forgive our little inconvenience that was unfortunately unavoidable. Thanks for everything.

I loved this hipcamp so much. It is very close to the north entrance into Merritt Island Wildlife Preserve. So much to do around that area. I travel in a Ford Transit van and I had my little area of the yard with picnic table and fire ring.

2 nights at Runaway Bay Lodge

We will definitely be coming back to explore. Oh my goodness. My partner and I have been disheartened with the state of the world and working multiple jobs and moving and my daughter and I have been having health issues. So we just really needed some rest and mental peace. Kennedy was such a sweet awesome human and the space was everything anticipated. Nothing like a naked nap by the water ✌️ 🤤

3 nights at Redfoot Ranch

We loved our 3-night stay at Redfoot Ranch. Mark and his wife, Sherri, are very welcoming and hospitable. They met us at the gated entrance when we got there and escorted us to our private, full hook-up site. A haven for all kinds of wildlife, we thoroughly enjoyed watching the Sandhill cranes, ducks, squirrels, deer, birds, and turtles. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet. We brought our trailer with our Polaris and rode out to the Ocala National Forest for hours every day right from their property! It was perfect for us. We felt so safe, as the property is fenced in with a gated entrance, and didn’t even need to lock the RV door when we left! Looking forward to our next visit!

This spot was great, it was nice and flat, provided electric hookup, privy was nice and in the woods. Troy was always responsive and wife Valerie meet us at site. This is really close to Merritt Island wild refuge.

Weekend Trip to Camp Shiloh

We went tent camping at Troy and Valerie’s place and enjoyed our time there! The site was prepped and ready for our arrival. The lights they have around the site made a huge difference with being able to see around. The privy was a short walk away and the campfire ring was bigger than we saw in the pictures. It’s only about 15min to New Smyrna Beach where there is plenty of things to do to pass the time if need be. Troy and Valerie were easily contacted through the HipCamp app and were friendly. Thank you for the use of your site!!!

Camp Shiloh was a peaceful, quiet, clean and easy to find spot. Very easy to find. Troy responded quickly to all my questions.

Site is clean and clearly built as a camp site. There are chairs, picnic table and a nice fire ring. Hosts are really great and everything is easy. Location is perfect to go see a rocket launch.

Very quiet place at the end of the lane. Great, accommodating hosts and we were able to get her quickly after a full day at the Space Center. Single site with 30 amp, fire pit, picnic table, trash, firewood!

Weekend Trip to Runaway Bay Lodge

We recently stayed at this glamping spot, and it was such a wonderful experience! The place has a cute and cozy vibe that instantly puts you at ease, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax and unwind. The stunning sunset views were a real highlight, adding to the overall peaceful and calming atmosphere. It’s the perfect getaway for anyone looking to recharge in a serene and beautiful setting.

Camp Shiloh was absolute perfection! It’s going to be our new weekend getaway! Hosts are friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect - only minutes away from the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge day use area. We were able to ride our e-bikes there and have a picnic on the water. We enjoyed Scottsmoor Flatwoods Sanctuary that’s close as well. The grass site was perfect to not track sand into the camper like usual. Site was easy to back into and firewood was provided. A+ Hip camp! We will be back!

Shiloh was the name of an early Florida town that was once located just down the road from our property. It was populated by hardy, adventurous folks who made a way for themselves and their families by clearing a spot along the lagoon, building a home and forging a life in a new location. But Shiloh is now lost, literally removed from the maps. It no longer exists. When NASA needed a perimeter zone for the newly emerging space program in the 1950s, the federal government purchased large swaths of land between Oak Hill and Titusville, FL. Residents were bought out and forced to move. Houses were relocated or demolished. Shiloh disappeared into history while the space-age pushed forward into the future. However... some foundations still can be found in the woods not far away, if you know where to look. There are even cemeteries that remain, whispering the names of individuals and families. As a tribute to those early adventurers, we have named our place Camp Shiloh. We honor the past, we respect the wild Florida that surrounds us, and we celebrate the future as we watch rocket launches from our porch. You are welcome to stay on the property while you explore the local communities of New Smyrna and Titusville, relax at beautiful Canaveral National Seashore, attend races in Daytona, visit amusement parks in Orlando... or whatever! It’s up to you. We are a peaceful, safe location from which you can stage your Florida adventure. Come on by. We look forward to hosting you! Runaway Bay Lodge is the first private property past The Pine Island RV Campground, on the right side of the street. OUR PROPERTY IS NOT LOCATED IN THE CAMPGROUND. We have 4 separate units on our property, including 2 cabins and 3 yurts, Each cabin and yurt is set up with only one bed, in each. We are a perfect spot for solo journeyers and couples. Larger groups can rent multiple units. We also host 3rd party retreats for up to 12 total guests. We do allow cannabis smoking on our property, in the common areas outside of the tents and cabins.
