Close to horse back riding, Lake Istokpoga Park is less than 5 miles for great fishing and boat ramp access. Highlands Hammock State Park is close by. Sebring International Raceway is near by as well. 80 miles to either Florida coast and 2 hrs south of Orlando. Just a disclaimer; Sebring Raceway is 7 miles away and if the wind is right you can hear the cars racing, also, lake Istokpoga is big for airboats so we do hear them running some. This place is incredible and Joe is a great host. It was our first RV trip, my wife and I took our 3 kids and they had a blast, fishing, boating and enjoying the view and the area. The view is just amazing. We will definitely come back. We all loved it!

Amazing private lakeside campsite! Beautiful, peaceful, and shaded by large Spanish oak trees. Perfect for RVs, trailers, or tent camping, with water and power available. Everything was clean and well set up with a picnic table, grill, and fire pit. Joe and his family were excellent hosts with great communication and thoughtful check-ins. Free kayaks, canoes, a paddle boat, plus a dock and good catch-and-release fishing. Very private and relaxing with no other campers nearby—the perfect place to unplug from my chaotic life for a few days. Highly recommend. Thank you, Joe and family, for hosting me!

We really wish we could have stayed a bit longer! Joe was great- he was quick with answers and provided everything needed to enjoy this picturesque location. We enjoyed watching the egrets, blue herons, vultures, ibis and the evening before our departure - 3 wild turkeys. Take a look & book, you’ll be happy you did. We are :)

Joe’s property was beautiful and had everything we needed. We got to ring in the new year here and wouldn’t have wanted to be anywhere else! Joe was available anytime if needed but let us do our own thing without interruption. We absolutely loved the fire pit! My fiancé made chilli from scratch and cooked it right on top of it! Fortunately we have family in Sebring so we will absolutely be back to stay in the future. Thanks again for everything!

Convenient amenities and a scenic lakefront view. Our Host Joe was welcoming and thoughtful. The provided kayaks/canoes were handy for fishing along with the dock and plenty of space. The site is adjacent to their garage which provided power and hose water - plenty of privacy.

**Hipcamp Review: Lakeshore View**
Our stay at Lakeshore View was fantastic! The property is quiet, beautiful, and the perfect place to relax. Joe and his wife were wonderful hosts—so welcoming and excited to share their little piece of paradise with us. The campsite had easy access to sewer, water, and electricity, making our stay hassle-free. We also loved the picnic table and the beautifully crafted fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. Our kids had a great time fishing, which made the trip even more special for our family. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!

The place is absolutely beautiful, you are surrounded by the lake, and the scenery is worth of a postcard.
Joe and his family and warm and welcoming.
Joe is very helpful and handy. He went above and beyond helping me get the awning properly placed, and even came up with a creative solution to my roof tent flap.
We are grateful they allow us to experience their property and the opportunity to get to know them. DONT HESITATE TO BOOK!

Hubby, myself and our 2 fur babies had an amazing relaxing time. On Joe’s land you will be camping by a lake with beautiful oak trees. Joe was there greeting us upon our arrival and was very helpful, we are new to RVing and are learning as we go and didn’t have a long enough sewer hose or electric extension and Joe was kind to let us borrow his and hook us up! He also has canoes and a paddleboat that you can use on the lake and a tree swing! We totally recommend this property for camping.

The location was awesome, we spent a day at Bok Tower, and afternoon naps on the hammocks overlooking the lake. Oh, and enjoyed both sunrises and sunsets over the beautiful lake. Our site was tight, but not a problem for us. Bath house was very nice.

It was a great spot to park! The kids loved seeing the animals and playing on the playground. Also a great road to a lake for bike rides or walks. Amanda was super friendly and communicated well. I only wish we could have enjoyed it more but it was rainy when we were there. I hope we can come back again when the weather is better!

This ranch is beautiful…inside and out. The driveway in to the ranch is Florida wildness and paved as it winds through live oak and scrub trees. The entrance is gated and insured security for those lucky enough to boondocks here. The pastures have cows, donkeys, horses and the homestead have roosters and chickens. The sand hill cranes, cow birds, hawks and various other birds grace the skies with their flight as they search for the perfect landing spot. This is paradise you won’t regret. It’s just 5 miles off Hwy 27 and well worth the drive.
