Anthony is a good dude with excellent customer service. I was just passing through, and he let me use an overflow spot. We ended up talking for a while, and when my 30-amp cable was too short, I let him know and he helped resolve it right away. The outdoor shower is a nice touch, and I even met some of his relatives—was offered hot coffee, which I gladly accepted. It’s a bit of a drive to some restaurants, but there are a few convenience stores and a Publix nearby. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly spot to relax, this is it.

AMAZING camp ground. We enjoyed every bit of what the land had to offer from the river, to the beach. It’s absolutely beautiful and peaceful. This has been our favorite HipCamp location so far. My 4 and 6 year olds had a blast and it was awesome enjoying the peace of mind that we were only 1 of 3 families on the entire property at the time, unlike public camping grounds; with that, we barely felt the other families present — our section was soooo well isolated. Becky and her husband were amazing hosts; extremely responsive and helpful.

The kayak/paddle board rentals is a nice touch. This kids enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline, laying the hammocks, and climbing up to the platform in the trees. We will definitely be coming back and cannot recommend enough!
