We’re a working homestead that’s constantly growing and changing, and there are sheep, goats, chickens, a dog, cats and a bunch of kiddos, but we all have our own spaces away from the RV and tent campsites. Part of the property is a nursery, part of it is a young orchard, and most of it is used to free range our livestock. We work and live on site. If you would like to participate in feeding animals, planting trees or helping us prepare garden beds, we’d welcome the company. *Please note that we live off a dirt road that’s very bumpy and rural.

Tres Lagos Camping is part of the Florida agritourism initiative. Where travelers from all over the world come to experience and enjoy a different kind of florida. We’re a small 5 acre family farm involved in the cultivation and preservation of rare and endangered palms with many other edible tropical plants for our visitors to enjoy. You can view our palms at all stages of growth from seed to maturity. Enjoy our U-pick varieties of mangos, Caribbean cherries, sugar cane, bananas, coconuts and we’re adding more all the time. There is even a sugarcane maze and bamboo gardens in progress for the kids and adults to enjoy. But don’t forget your veggies! Get up close and personal with where some of your medicines and vegetables come from. We have some small areas for education about different medicinal plants like Turmeric, ginger, saw palmetto and a few others. Take the tours or classes or just sit back and enjoy the view! This was a great spot for a solo car camping experience on the full moon. It's a secluded little quiet jungle nook with easy access to a real indoor toilet and sink! It's also a short walk to water views.
John and his family are lovely folks.
I read in the hammock and meditated by the fire. My only regret was not bringing mosquito protection. I ended up with about 15 large, itchy bites.
I would happily stay here again.

We had such an incredible stay here it’s truly a hidden gem. The property is peaceful, quiet, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to unplug and actually enjoy nature without distractions.
The host, April, was wonderful, welcoming, responsive, and clearly takes pride in what she does. Everything felt thoughtfully cared for.
This is very much a self service kind of place, which we loved. You are not going to have anyone breathing down your neck or constantly hovering or doing things for you. It gives you the space to settle in, slow down, and experience everything on your own terms.
If you’ve ever been to Peace River Campground, this is the complete opposite in the best way: the same natural beauty, but without the crowds or chaos. Just calm water, open space, and the sounds of nature.
They also offer canoes, kayaks, and a paddleboard for rent, which made it even better to explore and take everything in at your own pace.
If you’re looking for a quiet escape to reset and enjoy the outdoors as it should be, this is the place. We’ll absolutely be back.

We had an amazing time camping at Costa Myakka!
Rebecca was very prompt attending to all of our questions and needs. The Back 40 is a beautiful site where up to 25 people can camp: $55/night covers the cost of 4 adults(13+) per day while additional adults are $15 additional each day and 12 and under(kids) are free (not $55/night for up to 25 people).
There is a table and firepit, palm trees and live oaks that make a great spot for hammocking. There is an incredible amount of space for playing lawn games. We threw frisbees, had foot races, and played Boccee ball.
One thing to note is that the Back 40 site will need to be driven through by other campers in order to reach their site while the other sites are not drive through.
This site in not right on the river which is great for families especially who have young children to feel at ease letting them run and play and without having to be constantly vigilant of the water. An absolutely gorgeous river is just a 2 minute walk down the road. There are picnic tables by the river, places to set up a hammock, and a little beach where kids can dig, sunbathe, play, etc. You can make a day of it by the water. We also went kayaking.
We saw several other sites on the river that we wouldn't mind trying as well on another trip.
We saw cows and got to feed some very cute tortoises. The family was very sweet.
We loved it! You won't regret it! Just know that not all sites are on the river, though it is easily accessible.

We had a positive experience staying at the Front Entrance Farm Stay at Bell Oaks Ranch. The location was very convenient—just a short drive to the beach, which is where we spent most of our time.
We mainly used the site to sleep, but it was quiet, comfortable, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. Overall, a great, simple spot in a convenient location.

We had a great visit with our camper at JB Resort. It was quiet and relaxing. The resort backs up to rows and rows of orange trees and during our stay in March you could smell the blossoms. Bolton greeted us when we arrived and helped get us set up. He included a list of local attractions and restaurants. There was a nice pool and hot tub. Our covered RV spot included a 50 amp hook up, fresh water and sewer. His communication was excellent and very responsive. JB resorts exceeded our exceptions so much that we booked an extra day and booked again for next year, can't ask for more than that. It's only been few days since our stay but we're already looking forward to our next.

I had an incredibly peaceful night at Robin’s land. I had the pick on sites. I MotoCamp so I picked a nice corner of the property amongst some hardwoods. I pitched my hammock and all was set. I was visiting by 5 Whitetail does and Robin’s horse Charity was sweet. Thanks for sharing your land Robin.

The camp site was extremely well groomed. New umbrellas for both picnic tables. A new hammock next the creek. The host was very nice. We did not bring kayaks (they had some for rent). Next time we will bring our kayaks to explore. We definitely recommen.

Had such a wonderful weekend here with mu four year old son. The camp site was awesome - we went for walks, kayaked, and swam in the creek. There were other kids around and my son had such fun playing with them - especially jumping into the creek and swimming. The hosts John and his son John, were fantastic.

This hit our sweet spot. Site was comfortable, good size and you cannot beat full hook ups. had a nice view of the orange grove which was blooming so a sweet smell. The hosts dogs were great and came for visits and pets. Our first of many stays i expect.

Peace and quiet yet close to everything. J & B were excellent hosts! This was my first hip camp, and I was a mess. Arrived with a flat tire, they offered to help change it.
I was there for the solitude for the first few days, and that was respected. I am a single lady camping, I knew I was safe.
My brothers joined for the weekend and they to had a great time.
I absolutely would like to visit again.
