Beautiful spot overlooking Lake Weir in The Ocala National Forest.
Watch the otters play and count the many different birds that make this lake their home. Treat yourself sunsets every night as the sun disappears into the water and enjoy the awesome reflection of the moon as it sets on the lake.

We have an amazing outdoor shower, with hot and cold running water, overlooking the lake.
The extra large soaking bathtub is available for your use for $20 per stay if there are not other campers at the time due to us only having one bathroom available. Great for relaxing, bathing kids, or a very romantic evening.
Canoe, stand up paddle board and kayak available for your use at no charge.
You can paddle to nearby Gator Joe's which is an awesome spot on the lake for great food, drinks, and live music.

RV 30 amp electric hookup, as well as regular 15 amp electric hookup on hilltop site.
Many trees on the property makes it tricky for large vehicles to maneuver, therefor we have a limit of 25 feet including tow vehicle.
Dockside site has 15 amp hookup. We do have an adapter to connect to 30 amp hookup. It is closer to the house and bathroom than site 2 and has more shade and easy access to the dock.
Pontoon boat rentals are available down the road.
Being on the lake we do have mosquitos but they are mostly an issue at dusk and dawn for about an hour but we are out in nature so insect encounters of all kinds are to be expected.
If there is a nice breeze, which is often the case, you can enjoy the sunset from the rocker loveseat at the edge of our dock.
We also have citronella torches available for rent.
We also offer a large bundle of firewood for $10.
Campers MUST check in by 10 pm. We recommend arriving during daylight whenever possible.
It is important you understand that our property is not in the wilderness. We are NOT a commercial campground.
We have a couple of acres in a residential area and there are homes near the campsite. That being said, you will have complete privacy at your campsites as the two sites are on opposite ends of the property and you will not see me at all other than when you check in, unless you desire to do so.
Both campsites face the lake however, and you may see some fisherman out there from time to time, but I guarantee you will see much more wildlife than people.
Each site has its own fire pit.
Our guests love this place because of the lake, the incredible sunsets and moonsets over the lake, and all the incredible wildlife we have here, as you can see from the reviews.
Well behaved pets are welcome off leash as long as they are supervised and don't bother other campers. They are not allowed on the porches. Please pick up any mess that is in the path of foot traffic. There is a $20 pet fee per pet per stay. Add it under extras. Pet sitting is available for an additional charge.

We are 20 minutes from world famous Silver Springs, 20 minutes from Ocala Drive-In Movie Theater that usually shows great films for both kids and adults, and 20 minutes from the Santos Trailhead that offers world class biking and hiking paths.
Unfortunately, I cannot do anything about the people that come here that have not read the description, expecting a wilderness campground and choose to leave a negative review based on that but everyone that has read the description has loved it here and many return.

We enjoyed our stay this is really right in the middle of all the springs and if you like to go off road this is definitely the place to be. Our host was accessible at all times very prompt in the replies because we had a freeze while here( concerned for the pipes we had ice hanging off our rig in the morning we woke up to a temperature of 21 and by mid day it was still only 32. So weired for Florida. The only caution as advised by the host the only negative is the pedestal and sewer hook-ups were a good 35 ft from our rig set up. As long as you plan for that you should be good to go.

Great communication, Serum was wanting for us as directed when we arrived. It is our first time with an RV so he helped us understand the hook ups despite our late arrival (10pm). They had no reservations next morning so told us to stay at long as needed. They had endless firewood stacks for $20, all kinds of edible ushrooms for sale, and gave us a packet with information about the area. It was extremely quiet, secluded and peaceful. We would come back 😇

We camped 4 nights in our travel trailer and had a great time! We rented both sites so we could have the area to ourselves. The two sites are right next to each other, so it would be nice for a friends or family camping trip. It was very quiet with just a little bit of road noise, not too loud or distracting though. The stars at night were amazing and the area was well maintained. We were able to get a look at the mushroom farm and learned how the mushrooms are grown and harvested. This was very interesting. Owner was on the property each morning but certainly did not bother us. He was available but otherwise not interfering in any way. He is extremely pleasant. Salt Springs, the St. John's as well as Lake Kerr and Lake George are close by so there is plenty to do. Having ATV's would have really been awesome, so if you have them, bring them!

Hard to know where to begin. On a scale from 1-10 this RV camp site and it's host, Louise, are an 11+. The location is both a tranquil farm setting and close to everything and anything you could want or need. As for the site itself, there's a HOT outdoor shower, potable water, electric hook up and plenty of space to spread out. The chickens and goats were a wonderful site each day. Our camper trailer was parked right alongside a covered pavilion that had a picnic table, patio furniture, lighting, and a fan. As for the host, Louise was prompt to reply to any questions, friendly, and unobtrusive. She's just an all around nice person and great host. My wife and I, and our dog Pearl, highly recommend this Hipcamp location and host!

Very happy with our stay at Beth and Mikes. After putting in the wrong address Beth made sure we had the right directions and was looking out and waiting for us to arrive safely. Mike had a very nice campfire going which was very welcoming. Since at the time we were the only ones there that evening we had the pick of any site. We chose close to the simple and well functional outhouse and used the large wooden table for cooking on our Coleman stove . Sat by the fire and had a relaxing dinner. My description in all was very welcoming , relaxing, and incredibly peaceful.
The owls serenade you off to sleep and the crickets in the distance are the only backgrounds noise you’ll hear all night. We slept in till 9am Sunday morning to beautiful songbirds and the sunlight filtering through the canopy .A quick and brief good morning greeting from Johnny the handsome Doberman while we were packing up to leave. Only stayed one night and wished we had planned for more.
We visit the area for the mountain bike riding at Santos Trail head in Ocala that was only 20 minute drive. Always looking for a fun and different way to camp in our van and consider this stay one of our favorites. Thank you Beth , Mike , and Johnny!

Staying here was our favorite part of the trip! Great location, great eggs, awesome to see the chickens and we LOVED Calcifer! The friendliest cat, he hung out with us the entire time and really helped with us missing our cat back home! We had some eggs in the morning that we picked and washed ourselves! Weekend Trip to Serene Forested Blueberry Farm
This my second time staying here and will definitely not be my last. My wife, two teenage children and two dogs loved every minute of our stay. The weather didn't cooperate on Sunday, cold and rainy, but the campers were clean and warm and we spent hours just playing card. The hospitality from our hosts was outstanding, they even delivered dry wood after the rain. We will all definitely come back.
